Kodansha is listing the release date of Card Captor Sakura Clear Card arc volume 6 to March 1st April.
There isn’t anything about a special edition to be released simultaneously as of yet, but considering how all 5 previous volumes had a special edition, it is somehow safe to assume that there will be one for volume 6 as well.
A special limited edition is scheduled to go on sale on the same date.

PS: yes, I’m well and alive! I know I haven’t been writing about the recent CCS chapters and quite frankly I don’t know if I will ever catch up. I might, or I might just skip some and restart writing whenever I see fit. I apologize if you were looking forward to them (please accept a tender kiss in your heart if that’s your case). I do have a bigger sense of commitment to news rather than chapter reviews, so you can always expect and count on me for news, as usual =) I do hope sincerely that 2019 will surprise us with exciting CLAMP news. In the meantime you can follow me on twitter for some random CLAMP jib jab.

Thanks to amazon.com, I’ve known for quite a while now that the english edition would be released on May 28th, and considering the past 5 volumes, I estimated that, this time too, there would be a difference of around 3 months between the JP and ENG releases, and this is exactly what happened hahaha
And I agree with you: just like the previous times, it seems like they will take a bit longer to give more information, but it’s pretty much certain there will be a special edition, I would very surprised if it’s not the case ^^;
I do miss reading your chapters reviews and hear your opinions about the latest events in the manga, but do what you feel you want to, and I will, like I’ve done all this time, always follow you! ❤ (damn, did I sound like a stalker now? HAHAHA XD XD)

I’m sorry for being away. I’ve been a bit busy and with the absence of Jai’s translations I have been postponing and postponing and procrastinating about writing the reviews. But a good, juicy piece of news is always irresistible to me! But thanks for missing me, that is really sweet =)

Totally get it: I only followed the chapters thanks to Cinzia brilliant synopsis for 3 months, but I couldn’t take it anymore after these months and ended up reading an english scanlation from the CCS FB recently, a couple of weeks ago actually.
But JAI is and always will be my number one!!!!! Her translations are really the best in my eyes!!!

It’s funny—CCS has a lot of promo events going on now (a popular merchandise series at ITS’DEMO, the upcoming mobile game, the Osaka exhibit starting in June, and numerous little goods popping up everywhere), but for some reason the fandom overall feels very quiet. I don’t blame you at all for not having the time or the energy to write up new chapter posts. 😕 Just do whatever you feel like doing, and we’ll all enjoy it whenever it comes out!

I’ve had similar thoughts recently actually: there is an avalanche of posts about the merchandise fans are purchasing and the goods that are being constantly released, but it feels like the fandom is not talking much about the actual manga itself.
I guess I am unconsciously comparing it with the TRC/Holic era, in which there were neither events nor merchandise, but in which the fandom was burning their brain cells like there was no tomorrow ^^;

I actually followed the link to the Kodansha page, and couldn’t find CCS v06 listed in March 2019 under Nakayoshi in it: did they take it off, or did I miss it?

Hummm I don’t know what could have happened. I guess we will have to wait and see if the release date will be kept or changed.
