Haken Anime! gets paperback edition in September

The novel Haken Anime! was written by Mizuki Tsujimura with illustrations by CLAMP. It was serialized in an・an magazine from 2012 to 2014, each chapter featuring an illustration drawn by CLAMP.

The novel was compiled in a book that was released in 2014. Apart from the cover and one inside illustration, none of the other illustrations drawn by CLAMP were included in the book release.

It’s been announced that a paperback version is going to be released on September 6. The cover for this edition can be seen on the right.

If the majority of CLAMP illustrations were not included in the book version, chances that they are going to include them in the paperback version are very slim, if you ask me. That is a shame, since the illustrations were so nice. But who knows?

HiGH&LOW g-sword gets second Flash Anime arc

A new arc composed of 5 short flash anime episodes of HiGH&LOW g-sword has been announced.

Following the first, “Amemiya Brothers arc”, that was originally aired on the TV show Sukkiri!! in March 2017, the second arc is going to be called “Sanno arc” and will be screened daily at the HiGH&LOW THE LAND event starting from July 31st.

The first arc, “Amemiya Brothers arc”, is also going to be screened.

The flash anime adaptation of HiGH&LOW g-sword uses CLAMP’s original character design and characters are voiced by the real artists that they represent.

Kodansha to release Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ Goods Boxes for 4 consecutive months

Kodansha will release a series of 4 Special Goods Boxes of Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ from September to December, 2017.

Details of such boxes are described below:

Box 1 – Release date: September 1st.

Price: 1,680 yens.

Contents:

  • Acrylic stand keyholder drawn by CLAMP (Sakura & Syaoran);
  • Original badge set — Sakura, Syaoran, Tomoyo and Kero (1 piece of 70 mm; 3 pieces of 50 mm);
  • Original postcard
  • Acrylic stand pannel to house the whole set of 4 acrylic stands.

Box 2 – Release date: October 3rd.
