On its second week of release, Tsubasa – WoRLD CHRoNiCLE – Nirai Kanai hen #3 dropped to the 20th position in Oricon’s weekly comic ranking, with 40.847 copies sold, with an overall sales of 114,683 copies in two weeks.

Unfortunately, these are the worst second week sales for a Tsubasa – WoRLD CHRoNiCLE – Nirai Kanai hen volume — actually, these are the worst second weeks sales for all of Tsubasa since I’ve been keeping track of those.

Once again, these numbers are only for the regular edition. Numbers for the PLAYBUTTON limited edition are unknown.

In case Tsubasa shows up again next week in Oricon’s ranking, I’ll post here about its performance.

For comparison’s sake, here’s a chart showing the performance for all 3 volumes of Tsubasa – WoRLD CHRoNiCLE – Nirai Kanai hen.

  1. please dont shoot me… but dare i say im not surprised about that :/
i really love TC, but this arc was so slow and lingered in one space for too many chapters before those powerful final few chapters. i really hope it continues though cause it definately has potential to do so, with all those loose ends and plot holes. and there are a few extra characters too that could be seen more like the vamp twins, and seishirou.

    • Regarding Watanuki’s voice: my thoughts exactly !

I wonder that too! They can always go back to Weekly Shonen Magazine and do monthly appearances like they are doing with XXXHOLiC in Weekly Young Magazine?

This… Yes I did fear that and it is sad, but it happens, which is precisely why I dearly hope clamp tie up as many plot holes and loose ends as possible, and wind things up instead of delving too deep again and then diverting on random direction within the story. It’d be great to get a series that winds things up while developing the characters- which I think they already developed them in nirai kanai. Fais hair is longer for one thing!! 😀

  3. And the tsubasa group will always have a place in xxx cause of the sibling/same soul connection. Or in any manga for that matter. They do travel dimensions after all. ^^
