In its third week of sales, XXXHOLiC #17 dropped 5 positions in Oricon’s ranking, landing at 13:
05/04~05/10
1st – Naruto #51
2nd – Nodame Cantabile #24
3rd – Katekyo Hitman REBORN! #29
13th – XXXHOLiC #17
According to Oricon, XXXHOLiC #17 sold 43.999 copies in its third week, a drop of 69% in comparison to the previous week. With that, the overall sales of XXXHOLiC #17 is currently 357.018 copies (regular edition only).

This book comes with summaries of all 24 episodes, interview with staff and cast plus a talk with the anime director and Nanase Ohkawa.

If this book is about the episodes, what was the other book about? o_O;

I think it was more centered on the characters. It’s 68 pages, not much, plus it must be filled with anime illustrations.

I’m not fond of the idea of using Kobato for fanservice… If it ends with this “hand between the legs”, it’s okay by me. But not more 🙂 Kobato is just too sweet and pure.

I don’t see it much as fanservice, the hand looks better there than on top of one of her legs because that is a natural pose (in reality, the hand rests on top of the floor, in the middle of her legs). Still, it could be subjected to other meanings
