The online store of Animate has added two preview pictures in which we can have a first look at the figures of the upcoming 6th Series of CLAMP in 3-D LAND!
They look very great, don’t they? I always have the impression that they are getting better more detailed every time a new Series comes out. My favorites are Kentarou (he looks so cool!) and Umi. Kobato has her usual trademark dress, and of course, she’s carrying Ioryogi. It’s great to have two characters in a single figure xD
We can also assume how the figures of Nokoru and Suoh will look like, since the design of Akira’s figure was based on this illustration:
The same thing can be applied to Hikaru and Fuu’s yet to be released figures:
The 6th Series of CLAMP in 3-D LAND is scheduled for Spring, 2008.

It’s so much like the original illustration… even Ioryogi’s (falling) expression.
Before they designed entirely new poses for the figures, but lately they have been ALL based on an original CLAMP illustration. I prefer this way, if you ask me ^^”

The Akira and CCD figures to come totally make my night. I was really annoyed that the chess set only had Akira and Nokoru because…Suoh! So thank you for this news. ♥

Akira is super cute! and Kuro-sama too, and the eyes are big XDDD Let me explain, he has small eyes in the manga and seeing him now that way makes him even more cute and huggable. Thanks for finding them.

ZOMGGG!!! i love umi’s figure its so cute, MKR was the 1st clamp anime i watched on TV *o*^.. besides that kobato looks very detailed. but she’s not holding an umbrella right??

Hahahah I thought the Akira one came from ANOTHER illustration, but then once I found it, I realized it wasn’t… luckly enough I ended up finding the real one, it’s a very uncommon image, we don’t see it everyday. They have added a wing to the figure, though, that is not on the original illustration xD
