CLAMP Internet Radio #28

As promised, catching up with those.

This is for the Sayaka Ohara admirers out there.

The special guest of this episode is Sayaka Ohara, also know as her role as Yuuko in XXXHOLiC. Ha! My guess for the next guest was right xD

Favorite Talk of Flour Fortress

Ohkawa introduces Sayaka by giving her one of their lovely nicknames xD Sayaka is “Saya-hime”, or Princess Saya.

Like usual, Satsuki starts off asking the profile questions (birthday, hometown, etc) and Nekoi the work-related ones. Ohkawa asks her what was her debut work and she answers it was a narration for a promotional video (promoting what, I cannot tell, something about a “Kanu” and a “Funa”), she repeats the lines and the CLAMP members applaud xD

Further on, CLAMP gives Sayaka a tongue twister and asks her to speak it fast. She succeeds! xD

Next, the subject changes to the trip Ohara and Mokona (and CLAMP) did to Kyoto for Young Magazine’s feature. Ohkawa asks her why she likes Kyoto so much and Ohara replies that is because Kyoto is an ancient city and she likes ancient stuff (and she adds that so does Mokona). And here they pretty much talk about the trip, the places they visited, etc, including the 4-leaf Clover taxi they have found there xD (scroll down to see it. Even I would like to take a picture in front one of those xD).

Nearly around the end of the episode, they talk about XXXHOLiC and Ohara’s audition to play the part of Yuuko. Ohkawa wishes her good luck for Season 2.

Lastly, they briefly talked about Code Geass and Ohara’s role as Milly Ashford.

I’m really sorry these crappy summaries are all I can afford to you, it’s the best I can do at the moment =\ If I knew japanese well enough, I would be able to provide richer summaries.

These episodes are getting longer and longer xD When there’s only the 4 of them it’s usually 30 minutes or less, but whenever there’s a guest, it’s always 40 or more minutes. This one is 44 minutes long, the biggest so far. They even had to encode it at 128 Kbps or else the file would be too big (it’s usually 192 Kbps).

Anyway, hope you liked it! Who do you think is going to be the next guest? My guess is Namikawa-san (Fye’s seiyuu).

    Oh, Sayaka Ohara! She’s great! I love her as Milly in Code Geass, but I will forever think that HER ROLE is Yuuko

    • Hahaha and the clock is not marking the wrong time! xD I’m so sleepy today -_-

      You know, I’m not that fond of Sayaka’s role as Yuuko, I don’t know, I think she’s too “soft” for the part xD But she’s a great seiyuu nonetheless.

      The episodes are getting longer and longer. I certainly don’t mind, but making these reports gets harder and harder everytime xD

    I have seen scans from the apparent Clamp Internet Radio magazine, do these actually exist or are they special occasion kind of things?
