The opening was very quick, they briefly mentioned that Mokona’s birthday was coming and so they complimented her in advance. The show started right after xD
Favorite Talk of Flour Fortress
The special guest for this episode is Kazuya Nakai, the seiyuu who plays Doumeki in XXXHOLiC. CLAMP greeted Nakai saying that Yui Makino had made an appearance before, the princess, then Fukuyama Jun, the prince, and now Nakai would be the king (if I got it right xD).
CLAMP asked him a few questions in order to build up his profile like his birthday, favorite movie and what he wanted to be when he was a kid (unfortunately I’m not able to tell any of his answers T-T).
Then, there’s one funny moment where Nakai says a japanese tongue twister that involved Brazilians? XDDD (burajirujin) In any case, he did pretty well and even got some applauses from CLAMP xD
Some more questions.
Then they moved to XXXHOLiC subject. They asked Nakai details about the audition for Doumeki’s part on the XXXHOLiC movie, but that’s as far as I can tell you XD They talk about his other roles not only in animes but also in games (he played Masumune on Sengoku Basara!!).
Lastly, I believe he briefly mentioned that it was “interesting” to lend his voice for the upcoming XXXHOLiC game.
Nakai has such a strong and intimidating voice, even in real life xD But I got the impression he’s a really cool guy. Mokona was so quiet during the whole show, she barely spoke. I guess she was feeling shy around Nakai XDDD

Nakapan is more popular in video games seiyuu than anime. Ahh his expertise is more on video games than anime which his role in VG are wayyyy cooler! XD Unfortunately I can’t buy because I don’t have a console ;__;

Ohhh is that so? I REALLY loved Sengoku Basara, and Masamune is one of my favorite characters from it, he’s so strong. I had forgotten that it was played by him (I might have seen it by the time XXXHOLiC seiyuus were announced, but I forgot eventually XD)

if you’re a fan of One Piece, Samurai Champloo and Gintama… they are all swordsman so is Masamune… They have the same voice range. His role in XXXHOLiC is quite different because he’s a school boy… that’s why probably in seiyuu fandom, its kinda surprising since his role are most likely hot-tempered swordsman.
It’s also surprising that Nakapan did a young Seishirou, how come they didn’t mentioned? ;___; but his voice range is soooo different in his recent role. I still love it though XD

Setsuka’s seiyuu is Amerawashi’s seiyuu ^_^ the first voice you’ve heard is Furusawa Toru, then the younger voice is Nakapan XD very different eh? XD

Haha, the icon is of Gou from a BL manga called Aniki Joutou and the character is also the character Nakai Kazuya voices in the drama cd. XD He’s such an amusing character in the series.

Waahhhh, thank you SO MUCH for sharing all these radio shows, I’m loving the ‘holic seiyuu eps, even though I don’t understand a thing ^^;;; It’s been years since I took one course of Japanese, and I find not much has stuck (yet still more than expected, surprisingly). Need to practice and brush up on my vocab, if only just to be able to understand the CLAMP radios 😛
