This is another special episode, this time centered on CLAMP Mokona no Okimono Kimono.
They started the show wishing Satsuki Igarashi a happy birthday, since her birthday happened on the last 8th. She mentioned something about Games (of course, she loves them ^^) but I’m not sure of what (I think they asked what presents she got or what she would like to get).
Then the show actually starts. It becomes a really cute talk because Ohkawa is behaving like the interviewer while Mokona answers her questions about the production of the book. They mention the title and also where the idea came. They go into the story of Nekoi telling Mokona (while drawing XXXHOLiC) of how pretty her kimonos were. The Okimono project started two years ago !!! I was so surprised with this, I wonder what CLAMP are planning today that is only going to be released 2 years from now xD
However, she says that the original idea came to her mind 4 years ago (beginning of XXXHOLiC indeed), but that she’s been enjoying kimonos for over 10. So yeah, her love for kimonos is long and old ^^
Later, they ask why Mokona chose to draw Kobato on the cover. I think she also considered drawing Yuuko or Sakura instead, but some reason made Kobato more suitable (that’s too much for my lame japanese, sorry~ xD)
Then they advertise Mokona’s exhibition at Logos Gallery, and her (alone xD) sign session.
PLAY BACK CLAMP – RG Veda
This corner, that started in this episode, will feature each time a different CLAMP work. Starting with RG Veda, their debut work, the CLAMP members expressed their own comments about the work, and the readers sent their favorites episodes of it.
It’s amazing to listen to them talking about it and I wish I could understand it. They have a nostalgic “it was such a long time” feeling while talking about it. I couldn’t get much but I think they were talking about the huge amount of work they had and how it was pretty hard to deal with it since they were very young (but I’m not sure, of course xD)
When asked about the cutest character (I think?), Mokona said to her it was Ryuu-ou ^_^
Then, among the readers who sent their favorites episode, there was this person who mentioned the Drama CD episode, and that resulted to many “do you rememberrrr?” among the members ^^
Ah! In the midst of the e-mail reading, Ohkawa said that, apparently, RG Veda characters will make a small appearance in CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2! I even heard “Kendappa” xD I’m not sure about this, and if anyone could confirm it to me, I’d appreciate it ^^ (it’s around minute 23:30).
The next work to be featured on PLAY BACK CLAMP is CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan.
At the very end, Nekoi talks about the softwares and techniques she uses when she’s painting with CG.

Indeed ! But if you think about it, it was so carefully done, it must have taken a lot of time for negociations, development, edition, etc o.o

Yup, demo maybe Yuuko-san would look a little too dark for it (but I would like to see a picture with her in the Okimono *___* why there’s no special illustration, Clamp? XD)

CLAMP is full of surprises ^^ They are ambitious women too, I’m sure they’ll keep surprising us by releasing stuff in various fields other than the anime/manga.

I really wanted ALL CLAMP works to appear… I was kinda puzzled when I saw the 1995~2006 thing. I mean, it’s suppose to celebrate their amazing carreer, it should count since the origins (but yeah, I understand it must be hard to fit everybody in a 4 minutes or less video ^^”)
