Today is another very special day because Satsuki Igarashi of CLAMP is celebrating on more birthday. She’s 38 years old now ^__^
Even though in Japan is no longer February 8th, right here we are still on it, so I’m gonna pay my compliments to her XD
I wish her a lot of happiness, peace and a healthy life (and my that be a very long life). I hope she’ll keep showing us her talents of artist, designer and writer for many, many more years !

This is the drawing Nekoi did for Satsuki’s birthday, Satsuki-chan and Rikuou ^^
Satsuki said that she got birthday e-mails and everybody at the studio wishing her a happy birthday right after midnight. She also got flowers as presents but she haven’t posted any pictures yet.
The other members wished her a happy birthday on her Private Board too. Nekoi joked that Satsuki has now the same age as her, and Mokona asked Satsuki to let her know in case a cool game shows up.
Also celebrating her birthday today is my dear friend blaize_chan ! Feliz Aniversário, Blaize-chan ! ^__^ I dedicate this post to her !

They do look fairly green! I know Kazahaya’s eye is some sort of mix between green and brow, but I couldn’t remember Rikuou’s. Dark green, it seems ^^ (but in that illustration they are too light xD)

I guess since the illustration isn’t that big she had to use a lighter shade or else they’d just look black. His expression in it is priceless though. XD

I don’t want to bring you down but, Nekoi every once in a while draws GD characters, but still I want to believe it’ll return this year *-*
And yeah, although every character has a “canon” eye-color, they do make changes in certain images in order to look better and match the colors ^^

Maybe that’s because Mokona isn’t used to draw chibis. Also, to do a normal drawing (at least for me) mean to put many attention in details and something like that.

Everything Mokona draws looks pretty, she should do it, even if just a scribble… let the “normal drawings” for a real illustration.

Maybe another reason is that mokona is so perfectionist that she doesn’t like that someone see her sketches so frequently XDD

Yo, Chibi-Yuuto!! I just want to wish a huge “Tanjoubi Omedetou Gozaimasu!” to Satsuki-san! ^o^ I really like the drawing that Nekoi did for her. That drawing of Rikuou reminds of Touya Kinomoto with that expression on his face. XDD
