SO THE GIRL WAS THE GHOST—-! XD What a lovely twist ! ^__^
In the end, the bells did have an effect, they sent the spirit away, after all. The girl just didn’t know that SHE was the spirit XD Indeed, her house isn’t scary anymore, way to go, Yuuko xD
EDIT: Well, sort of. After reading ‘s translations, the bells only made the situation to get worse, and apparently it was the reason the woman called an exorcist ^^
Now, I have to wait for the translations, because I didn’t get if the woman was actually her mother O.o It seemed so, but I’m not sure.

But Ohkawa, you can’t fool us, this arc screamed THE OTHERS with big, huge caps ^___________^ It’s definitely one of my favorites, because even though I’ve seen a storyline like that before, I was still surprised with it ^^
End of the arc. 4 chapters left for this tank. And is it just me or the tag in the last page is actually saying something interesting about Watanuki?
EDIT3: No it isn’t. It’s saying a useless “Wait a bit for Watanuki’s comeback!” ¬¬ Thanks Inarikami-san !

Hmm… I wonder who is going to exorcise her? Kohane perhaps? She’s an exorcist/medium. I’m more puzzled on if Doumeki did in fact see her, he noted her school uniform at Yuuko’s.
This is definately an ode to the Others though. ^^

Looking back in chapter 124, Doumeki might not have seen her, he’s not peeping with Watanuki through the shôji’s opening, he mind his own business (which is to say Watanuki’s food). ^_^

yesterday when i read the spoiler i noticed about the others thing, but until then i have no clue about the all history it was a wanderfull chapter and don’t Cry out to Yuuko or mess with her if you want to live or unlive in peace jejejejeje

Oh, I watched that movie. I think it crossed my mind the girl could be dead or not-human, but didn’t take anything from granted. How cool. I mean, the story, not the poor ghost girl’s fate.
I guess I think too much, because instead of giving us more lights on ghosts on the HOLiCverse, it just turned out to be a specific case. I keep remembering this is CCSverse, and there was Nadeshiko who could see the living and interact with them. Now I wonder if these “interactive ghosts” (Haruka included, of course!) can talk to psychic people because had some power when alive, or any ghost with a purpose can. Hmmmmm.

I know ! And we even saw her at school… CLAMP WANTED us to believe she was human ¬¬ They put Himawari there and all… to later she turns out and say “No, I was talking about ANOTHER girl”, grrr XDDDD

I think both. I think its very likely that powerful people, once they are dead, can communicate with the living. And a ghost too, if there’s a purpose o.o

Interesting twist, yes, but I can’t honestly say I liked it; Yuuko comes off as really cruel to someone who didn’t deserve it. I hope this arc isn’t over, I want to see a happy ending for that poor ghost.

As for the exorcist, I personally think this arc is over. At least I wish it was, because I liked the way it ended, quite an abrupt end ^^ But who knows? Maybe they’ll show a bit more…

Hey Chibi, I thought of you when the other girl entered in the room. I was so expecting the new character to be the ponytail girl’s mom. ^_^
Since we had Yuuko’s debriefing, the mission is over so we won’t see the exorcism but we’re ready for a new arc.
Next chapter in two weeks. Four days before St.Valentine. Doumeki, if you want to reveal your love to Watanuki, it’s now or never? ^_~

That’s really neat! Somehow Watanuki remind me of the young Cole in “The sixth sense”, and this arc as “the others”, cool I must say!
But I think it’s not end here, maybe Watanuki don’t agree with yuuko that the girl will be exocized because of her wish, well, it’s not fair since she doesn’t know she is a SPIRIT. So I think, Watanuki will go to that house, disturb the exocize (meet the exocist – whom we all curious about)
What I got from this chapter is, think carefully before make a wish, Yuuko is always serious ^^”

there’s a sixth sense joke here somewhere, but i’m not going to try too hard to find it.
quite frankly i didn’t really feel too badly for the girl, she annoyed me when she gave yuuko the attitude, especially last week. the real question is whether watanuki will take this lying down, or whether he’ll try to do something about it. i wonder who the exorcist will be?

I assume the price was her existence in that world. Like, there wouldn’t be a ghost in that house anymore, but she wouldn’t exactly be around to experience it either.
Personally, I think that the story arc is over too, it had a bit of a finality to it near the end…
