Fye’s eye-color is different, I wonder if it’s only for this image or if it really changed now that he’s a vampire.
We get a glimpse of Ashura-ou with his yasashii eyes, the pages are so toned >.< Ashura-ou demands a lot of screen-tone… argh when are getting there already? ¬¬
So that's (also) why I love CLAMP. Last chapter we were all surprised to know that Sakura wanted to win the tournament in order to win the prize money and rebuild the previous world. That was already a hell of a surprise. Now they come and surprise us AGAIN by telling us that that is not her *true* wish (No Kamui, apparently you're not the only one hiding wishes…). And what's more, Fye shares the same wish with her.
I thought about it for a while, but I gave up afterwards… I have no idea o.o All we know is that Kurogane and Syaoran won't like it and that there's not much time left to grant it. Oh, and it also has to do with the fact that she hesitated in the last battle, making everybody stay still on the stage. Is she like… waiting for the clone to land in this world? o.o It would be easier than running from world to world XD

So Kurogane also noticed that Fye and Sakura are hiding something. Because he's smart and knows the other two very well, but he's not smart enough to figure out what is it that they are hiding, but it's a start xD
Syaoran uses the remaining bits of alcohol in his body (yay he drinks it too XD) to say that he must protect whatever it is that he must protect.
So that's it… next chapter only in 2 weeks, any guesses on what Sakura and Fye are planning?

Then Watanuki meets Haruka-san in a dream ! So cool to see them traveling between dreams, it reminded me of X ^^ (You know when you’re reading a CLAMP work when: dreams are connected). We get to the girl’s house and see that she’s… throwing the bells at the air? XD Like they are actually gonna DO something about her fear? Well of course she’s still scared, she’s looking for a reason to get scared o.o
And then some creepy shape opens the door… so who’s it, her mom? XD
I really want to see what Yuuko plans for this girl… and how on Earth these bells could have helped her.

I do like that Fai and Sakura are bonding (kinda) and generally interacting a lot more. Also, the colored art with Fai and Kurogane in the vampire-like get up makes me tingly. I didn’t realize his hair was getting longer.

I believe that, this is the color of his eye when he is a vampire. You see, we have the type when he is in his normal mode (to call it this way). And we have when he is a vampire and his eye takes the shape of a cat’s eye. O.K. maybe I’m drunk XDD

Thinking on it, it isn’t a big surprise. Even we made a joke about that XDD. “If they are going to save money, then they will not have time to search for the feathers” XDD. Now the question “Why the group want to stay there just to help one world. Since the other Syaoran can continue destroying other worlds?” is answered. But now, I really don’t have a clear idea about Sakura’s true wish. Maybe has something to do between her and Syaoran or the others too. Let’s remember when she hesitated, it was when she saw that Syaoran was injured in the game. And she has an expression like “it is worthwhile to continue with this?”. Also It can be a selfish wish, and we can complete the last sentence with “It is worthwhile to continue with this. Just for my selfish wish?” O.O After all, she isn’t the same Sakura… (evil thoughts again ^o^)

You’re probably right. Kamui’s eyecolor is blue by default (we can see that in the deluxe cover illustration and that color page when they first landed in Tokyo). But when he “turns” in a vampire, his pupils got thinner and it had that cat-ish look indeed ^^

I love this chapter, the splash was love. I think the manga is getting more serious. Sakura is getting more serious. I want to know what’s her wish is, I kinda have an idea but not sure. I think she is going to wait in that world until C. Shaoran shows up. I hope kuro can figure what going on, ans somewhat help them. if your wish is what I mention, I think Kuro might be mad but that that much cause his wish it’s to get back to his world, but to ask get back at FW for killing his mother.

Huh….. Since Sakura was “acting” her hesitation in the chess match, we can guess that she doesn’t care if Syaoran get hurt or not. And since Ohkawa is cruel…. Well…. *pick a piece of paper in the “Yumemi Hat” beside her and read the random prediction written on it*…. Sakura and Fye are planing to kill R!Syaoran. Yeah. Definitely. ¬_¬ I don’t want to be right on that one. ~_~ Else, Kurogane, do something. TToTT

Au contraire! It’s working perfectly well. She asked for her house to turn into an “un-scary” one. She didn’t wish to enjoy a normal house, so if she died in the process it’s all right, the wish will be fulfilled. Always choose your words well when dealing with Yuuko, she’s a dictionary freak. I mean, she learned so much definitions by heart. Anyway, I don’t think the girl is going to die, but she will probably have to piss the spirit out of her house and it may turn ugly. And since Watanuki and Haruka are there, and that Yuuko can hardly add any more bells, we will probably see something interesting real soon. ^_^

So Yuuko seems to try to disturb the spirit so it would get out of the house or reveal himself allowing Watanuki, in his dream form, to “exorcise” it away [Yes, I’m convinced that Haruka and Yuuko are working together in a way or another on this]. The way the girl told her wish to Yuuko didn’t include something like staying healthy or alive to enjoy her empty house. So even if the ghost provocation turn into tragedy, if the spirit is out, Yuuko did her job as well as her costumer asked to.

Tusbasa becomes more and more fun especially with the mess of the hidden wishes (something that is never positive in Clamp fandom!) I’m also leaning towards Sakura wishing to meet the clone again in this world as Fye wants to see the clone in order to get his eye back! On a random note Sakura angst really doesn’t sit right with me mainly, as you’ve said yourself, it makes her LESS prety rather than MORE!
xxxHOLIC is love and how I’ve missed it! The bell thing becomes more and more interesting (totaly agree with you about the dream crossing) and it’s nice to see Watanuki and Haruka-san getting on so well!

I AGREE ! Sakura has definitely NOT the biotype of an angst character… she’s the cute-kind of character and she looks way better smiling ^^

O-M-G!!!! The suspense is killing me…
Not much time left? The reason she hesitate? Hidden true wish that would make Kuro-daddy & Syaoran angry? How can she make them angry? Maybe what she wants have something to do with the ‘her’ Eagle mention, or maybe she’ll somehow make Kuro-daddy and Syaoran feel betrayed for being her pieces for her ‘very-selfish-reason’ (she said to her self when she got that egg that hatches into Tanpopo, ‘I might hurt others, steal something, all for my selfish reasons, I will certainly accept the consequences, and yet, I want to return your vanished heart, Syaoran-kun.’)
No offence to Sakura lovers, I really, really dislike her!!! At first, she’s ok, after she lost her memory, she sleep, sleep, and sleep (I forgives her at first)and I’m quite fed-up when they arrived at the sand kingdom, I’ve already change my thoughts about her from cute-sad-sleeping beauty-useless-annoying and at last, EVIL… She CHANGED, and a lot too. I really prefer the old cheerful and happy-go-lucky Sakura like in the CCS and chapitre 1…
I’m not CLAMP, so I’ll never know what those evil women who enjoyed torturing both her fans and characters meant.(if I’m not mistaken, I’m sure they must be laughing evilly in Japan, thinking that their beloved Fans are struggling to figure out the mystery they gave us…)
& the lovely & sad scene…
Fay-kissing-Sakura’s-hand, Fay’s acting like a very loyal knight in that scene (^___^), Syaoran saying ‘even so, I will definitely protect her’ when he’s drunk, and of course, the gorgeous vampire-ish splash page.

Nope, it is becasue he is vampire in that photo. In the mag cover of some weeks ago there was a color one and Fay’s eye was blue…. Clamp wanted to draw him in his vampire stylish look *__* And in the manga his eyes clearly _change_, this is only a color one of that ‘change’. And that means Kamui and Subaru’s eyes are purple/gold and green/gold ^__^
Waiting for Clone is lame wish becasue sooner or later they have to meet again… she wants another thing…. I bet she wants to go to Celes!!!!! XDDDD after so many years we haven’t been able to guess Kamui’s wish, or find one that fits correctly, so we better just wait, guessing Sakura’s is going to be even more difficult ;_;
