CLAMP NEWS !!

• DVD:

The cover of volume 8 has been announced and you can check it here. This is the last volume of the series and it’s out on February 21st.

• CLAMP in 3-D LAND DEBUT!

All 500 tickets to the event have been sold out already. You had to buy the first series of the CLAMP in 3-D LAND figurines and apply to form in order to have a chance of winning one. The event will happen in Tokyo on March 18th at the TOKYO FM HALL.

• CLAMP Mokona Okimonokimono:

LOGOS GALLERY (in Tokyo, Shibuya) will host an exhibition dedicated to CLAMP Mokona Okimonokimono. The exhibition is free, starting on February 16th and will be held until February 28th.

The exhibition will feature original small articles written by Mokona about Kimonos designing, items of Mokona’s personal collection along with her comments, exhibition of CLAMP characters wearing kimonos, etc. Original goods will also be on sale at the event. Check out their official website for more info and pictures. On that site you can read a small commentary of Mokona where she says that her passion for Kimonos grew bigger and bigger when she started drawing XXXHOLiC ^__^ I guess no other character wore more Kimonos than Yuuko ^^”

Also celebrating the release of the book, 2 sign sessions with Mokona will be held, one in LOGOS GALLERY, in Shibuya, and the other in the Bookshop Tokyo and Libro Ikebukuro Parco Shop, in Ikebukuro.

Both sign sessions will happen on February 25th and tickets for the one of LOGOS GALLERY will be given for the first 200 people who purchase the book in LOGOS GALLERY, starting at 10:00 am, on February 16th.

More Information about the second sign session have yet to be announced.

    • That’s wonderful because that way volume 19 will end very quickly *-* If they keep with that pace, it should be over before March ends… but I’m seeing at least one break to show up after these scheduled chapters.

    • Oh that’s true… but it’s probably gonna take a while x_X I think the tank will be released in March so we’ll probably see the cover on Febuary’s 16th’s update… if we’re very lucky we’ll see it on February 1st’s, but I don’t expect so =\

    The fourth one kimono´s model´s hat is screaming “Nekoi´s” so out loud XDD (the second one btw gives me such a strong Ohkawa´s vibes ´cause of the colours, don´t you think? XD) and the fifth one is holding the Clamp Nortside ArtBook! lol XD
    Also, thanks for the bigger version of the cover!!, don´t you think it looks like mainly done by Nekoi instead of Mokona? o.oU I´m thinking maybe it was like a present to congratulate her… we´ll never know I guess U.U
    Thanks for all the news! I have to update myself with TRC… I heard Ashura-Ou will open his eyes tomorrow! XD

      HAHAHHA I wouldn’t be surprised if it were that one hat of hers XDDDDD
      But not only the hat, the whole kimono screams Nekoi O.o

      Really? XD I thought it was so Mokona XDDD Because of the shawl it’s wearing XD Remember the image with Mokona’s Booth? There was a shawl on the table.

      Well, Kobato is certainly Mokona XDDDD Ioryogi is Nekoi and the clouds… humm… it could be Nekoi’s yeah… she’s good at doing kawaii/fluffy things xD And the birds must be Nekoi’s too… I think it’s another “IRASUTO/CLAMP” XDDD *liked it more when they specified which one did what*

  8. Yo, Chibi-Yuuto! Arigatou gozaimasu!! *glomps* TRC is continuing all the way!! Even for Valentine’s Day! Wow, this is definitely going to make most of the Syaoran and Kuro/Fai fangirls “squee” their hearts out! ^o^

    So sad that only three straight chapters for HOLiC. I can understand about that; after all, they are trying to end at the same time with TRC. ;__; *sobs*

    Sugoi desu wa!! CLAMP 3-Land event in Tokyo on March 18th! / That three days after my tanjoubi. Demo, hontou sabishii desu. ;__; I can’t be able to go! Semete (At least), a report will make me happy! ^^

    Chibi-Yuuto, are you going to give me a heart attack?! O__x OH MY GOSH, Mokona is going to have a signing session for her Okimonokimono book! SQUEEE!! *dies* Also an exhibition of her personal collection and CLAMP characters wearing kimonos. Will that include the boys and not just the girls?!       Great news for Mokona, isn’t it? ^__^ I didn’t know the release of the book would be that huge ! I sure hope the sales will grow huge ! And yeah, I think that the exposition will feature boys too ! After all, they did some really nice yukattas for their guys ^__^

    that means that Celes is SO close ;; i want to see the covers of vol 18, the hard cover is what i want to see the most (it MUST be Subaru ;__; he is the only one of the four that didn’t get a hard cover ;__;)

    Oh and Happy B-day to su_chan 8D i hope the color page of ch141 will be KuroFai tor her XD

  11. that green kimono in the middle is lovely… it reminds me of the kimono Hokuto wears from the CLAMP 15th Anniversary illustration (the green one of the programs, I think).

    • Oh I see ! There is one yukatta that is fully dedicated to that image (in fact, the image was done BECAUSE of that yukatta XD Not the other way around) I don’t know if you have seen it O.o

  17. no kobato break, good. cuz this is my current favorite series that’s not on hitaus… clamp loves to torture us
    they took X characters away!!!!!! dang it! they should’ve been the main characters instead of happy mary sue sakura and syaoran from CCS.
