Fuuma is so cool ! It was indeed just the angle on the last page of 109, I’m so glad they kept his glasses, it’s classical of Fuuma ^_~
SURPRISE on the figures under the hoods ! The mystery is finally cleared, and together some oddness too like… NO SUBARU NOR SEISHIROU !*hears the fangirls’s cry in the distance* At first is odd, but if you think about it, now I think it’s pretty obvious that THAT Seishirou is indeed this missing Seishirou. Since his clothes and the fighting techniques were the same as Kamui’s, and since Kamui is with the DoE, I think there’s a high chance. And don’t you think it’s very like Seishirou and Subaru to just run away from this gangsters thing just to take care of their OWN business? O.o
Back to the oddness: KAZUKI ! OMG KAZUKI ! (It really is Kazuki, riiiight?) I totally did not see that coming. A few people guessed that it could be him/her (he’s looking like a HE in Tsubasa but wasn’t him a SHE in X? O.o) and I must applaud them *applauds* At least I think nobody expected BOTH of them to be together, both Kazuki and Nataku. Still on Nataku, I noticed that his clothes has “0/5”, so I think this explains the “0/7″ thing in Kamui’s clothes. Satsuki is number 2, Yuuto is 4 and Kakyou is 6.
KAKYOU (looking totally angst) !!! Only in Tsubasa you can see a walking Kakyou with a crossbow ! XDDDDD
YUUTO——–! *___* Ehe, sorry ^^” And of course, SATSUKI ! KUSANAGI !
Now on Fuuma’s side:
SAIKI !!! He’s the oddness in here, taking Subaru’s place. He always wanted to be a Seal… guess CLAMP realized that wish in this world, poor him ^^”
Since I love the combination woman + gun, I’ll enjoy seeing Yuzuriha (again), Karen and Arashi in action. Btw, while one group uses crossbows, the other uses guns… totally the opposite.
The Fuuma and Kamui fight is cool but not as cool as the one from the previous chapter (surely they are saving the best one yet to come), but one thing we could see: Fuuma will always be Fuuma no matter whether he’s with the DoE or with the DoH XDDDDD The same applies to Kamui XD
So they got a call from the Tower, which means MORE PEOPLE ON THIS WORLD ! I wonder …….. maybe we’ll be seeing Hinoto and Kanoe too? Or maybe among those “other members” is Subaru? I’m very curious to know who are the other members. Does Kamui’s group also have more members?
This is looking promising >.< Good thing next week there's more and I'm already counting the days….

Seishiro isn’t in this world, a little disappointing. Anyway Fuma VS Kamui was cool but the fight didn’t last too long.
It’s getting interesting, I can’t wait to see what happens the next week ^^

They all seem really elemental power-less. Like how Kamui fought with his own hands instead of power, and how they all use either a crossbow or a gun. But we never know, ne? ^^

My jaw dropped when the hooded figures revealed themselves to be the Dragons working for the opposite side than they did in X. I kept switching back and forth between the two scans to make sure that I was seeing things correctly.
I wanted so badly to see Seishirou and Subaru… But Kazuki and Saiki are good enough. Go go CLAMP for fanservice!

I kinda thought this was possible (the sides being switched) when we get to know that Kamui’s group is in the building while Fuuma’s is on the Tower. Because that bulding is the DoE’s building and Tokyo TOWER is the DoH’s tower so… but nothing like seeing with your eyes O.O I was stunned to see Kazuki and Saiki, Kazuki specially.

I actually saw the swap in Kamuis coming– Fuuma looked friendly and Kamui nasty in the last chapters, and it was very much a CLAMP thing to do to reverse them in an AU when they got the chance. They wouldn’t do the same thing twice, and the similarity of Seishirou’s clothes was too much to be a coincidence. It’s nice to be right, especially since I really hoped that was what they did. ♥

I like your theory. But i’m also putting my hopes on that Subaru is the tower caller, and Seishirou was just guarding the water or stalking this Subaru. Then we’ll have two Subaru & Seishirous running around!
Fuuma being friendly actually put my guards up. He wasn’t quite this *cheerful* pre-Apocalypse (unless you count child!Fuuma). He’s exactly like DoE!Fuuma. Something is off. Although at least it doesn’t look like he’s into sadistic foreplay in this world…

I think CLAMP might put the sadistic!Fuuma a bit away because that may be TOO MUCH for SM’s readers (or maybe not, maybe it’s yet to come^^)

That was still DoE!Fuuma. What I meant is the silent-protective-older-brother!Fuuma we first met at the beginning of the series. I actually prefer cheerful!Fuuma, but I’m still wondering whats up with that.
I love pissy!Kamui too. Maybe this time Kamui can do the whipping? I notice that Fuuma didn’t seem to try to attack Kamui all that much, just block him and stuff.

It really DOES feel like X is back! It’s crazy and I don’t even care if there are nineteen more Piffle worlds with Piffle races after this, I will forgive CLAMP anything. I’m so so so happy!
Kamui is such a little bitch. A loveable little bitch. A MORE loveable little bitch, now that he’s doing something. But all of the characters are acting exactly the same, which shows just how thin the line between “good” and “evil” was to begin with.

Kazuki! Kazuki is so cute!! Wow, did not see that coming at ALL, but makes sense to have an AU where she had lived (though I question Nataku’s origins, but then I am reminded that Fujitaka isn’t Sakura’s biological father in Tsubasa.) It doesn’t have to make sense, it’s still cool.
And Saiki. Oh, dear Saiki. ♥ I really liked Kamui/Saiki’s interaction in X (I have a thing for reluctant yet antagonistic allies), until he got totally deaded. He’s alive! He’s alive! And takes a position in the group!
Oh my… page 10 where Fuuma grabs Kamui’s hand was very attractive.

As to a constructive comment, however, it does now seem likely that this was Sei-chan’s original world and this leaves the field open for flashbacks. I doubt he’ll actually make an appearence here if only because Clamp enjoy teasing us.
Also I too wish to see Keiichi…hopefully he’s alive and on one of the teams! (am wishing very hard for this to be true!)

Eeee! No Tsubasa chapter has given me a shock like this. I knew it was coming, of course, but /still/. Seeing the characters of my favourite manga all together and unhooded after years of no X was wonderful.
Kazuki – little cutie with a crossbow. i find that amusing, somehow. I hope we get to see Nataku being a nice big brother.
I love that both teams have those little logos on their cloaks. Does Karen’s gun have the Tower too?

I went back to the last two chapters after posting my comment and had a bit of a doh moment – that’s where it came from. But the Kamui in the icon is coloured and pretty and not homicidal! Such sweetness does bad things to my memory. 🙂

*sigh* I hope Clamp isn’t saving Subaru just for a Tokyo Babylon related situation (misses X Subaru…). I think your Seishirou theory is highly plausible (does that mean the missing Subaru is the X Subaru? O_O), though only Clamp will know.

And I too took ages to realise it was Kazuki, I was like – who the hell is that!! then it dawned and I felt shamed to be called an X-fanatic.
I also forgot how tall Fuuma is! XD big boy.
The fight was so X-ish, Fuuma can’t help but tease poor little Kamui no matter where he is. And smiling, Fuuma has such a lovely yet eerie smile… I want more!! I would love to see Fuuma in colour – maybe a future tank cover? *prays to Clamp*
I wonder where they went off to though, who’s attacking them? When will we see them again? And Kakyou’s walking, that is just so strange – too use to seeing Fuuma carrying him about XD

Yeah totally unexpected about Kazuki… I think is still a “she”… hope so…
And (it´s rare but) I am ok with Sub and Sei to not appear in this world, first because that would just “spent” a lot of important crossovers in just one world, and second it will be better if they have to do more with the final arcs or at least more at the future… would be great if (when Sei and Sub appear) Yuuko have something to do with them too… ok my imagination have just flown far away… I know ^^U

I absolutely agree that they are saving Seishirou and Subaru for later, for the climax. In this world, they might only “build” some theories with flashbacks and stuff, to only later, maybe in another world, we actually meet sei-chan again and probably Subaru alongside ^^
I won’t mind if this world takes the next 3 or 4 volumes AT ALL XDDDDDD

So water is the central point? An apocalyptic world, a war for water… I guess it must be Sei’s home world… Looking for immortality through vampires makes sense in such a devastated world.
And Kazuki : so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute…It is interesting that Nataku still has a tatoo on the forehead… Maybe Kazuki created him? No, there doesn’t seem to be magic in this world… The tatoo must be for fan service
