Watanuki officially joined the CLAMP blindy club ! Because OMG Lady Spider ATE his eye O.O (she’s awesome, isn’t she? *-*) I wonder if Watanuki will get visions of her stomach now XDDDDDD
He also plays the hero this chapter, quite amusing ^^ And we get into the “Stop thinking too much about other people and start thinking about yourself” field (read chou_addictedsan’s translations), which I loved.
But yeah, I do miss Yuuko.
Tsubasa:
Again, this was a GOOD chapter… I was like this all the time: O.O
So X-ish… or should I say CLAMP-ish? All the beautiful (and cruel) deaths. Fei Wang wasn’t actually at Nihon, it seems that he opened a dimensional gate, since it closed when he disappeared.
And then we see Kuro-papa’s arm ripped apart in the goblin’s mouth ;___; That scene shocked the hell out of me… and I’m amazed to see that Shonen Magazine published it (I mean, thank gosh !) I wonder if the tank version will be less intense.
I think now we have enough reasons to know why Kurogane is all moody, no wonder ;__;
And I fear for what BeeTrain will have to do in order to make it suitable for NHK .__.
Kendappa-ou——–! Now, to you who know japanese enough, is she the current princess of Nihon or just a Knight? And the actual princess is inside that carriage? o.O
Anyway, she looks so pretty ^__^ Bring it on the RG Veda charas–!

It was indeed a very shocking chapitre… But very, very good too. Can’t wait ’til next time 😮 And I want to know if FWR was also involved in Fai’s life since he’s involved in the lives of the other three main characters… The more answers CLAMP give us, the more questions they provide ^^;

I don’t like Kendappa very much because of *insert a bunch of RG Veda spoilers here* (it’s a shame, because her chara design is really beautiful, both in RG Veda and here *_*) but I agree: there’s no Souma without Kendappa. And yay, bring back the bloody and gore-ish CLAMP! XD
On a side note about the previous chapter… it’s just me, my eyes, or does one of Clow’s eyes in chapitre 95 cover have a different, slightly lighter colour, like Syaoran and Seishirou? I found that really shocking when I first saw it and seems nobody else commented on it

About the eye…
I read this and checked the image…and yeah the right eye looks suspicious (Hi, I am Clow and I want to join the blindy club), but it can be that the light is coming from that side.

Even though she did what she did in RG Veda, I still like her ^^ In fact, I guess I like her because she did what she did ^^
About the eye, I’ve noticed that but I thought it was just an effect of the glass or something…

Watanuki´s eye is lost for good now. I really thought he could get it back during last chapter ^^u
I also wonder what´s NHK (I actually think bad animation, etc is Bee Train´s fault but not really the censorship) going to do when we reach this part of the story. Probably we will just see the end of the arm holding sword (w/o the chopped-bloody part) and lots of red flashes ¬¬….

Amaterasu (Kendappa) is the empress of Nihon, so she said that Tomoyo is her little sister and a yumemi.

Oh Lord, YESS!! My favourite Kendappa for whom I prayed since this overcrowded series started, has appeared at last~! *insert lots of incoherent fangirling here* But truth to be told – I liked her design much more better in RG Veda than in here. Don’t know, maybe it’s about the eyes
For now, I’m ecstatic she’s there at all, but at the same time I feel a bit disappointed..
(now what I want the most is Kujaku and I can die happily without any regrets ;D *runs off to play in photoshop with her favourite pictures of kujaku-sama*)

Of course I also prefer her RG Veda self… but she’s pretty anyway even though she’s into the tsubasa style ^^, IMO.
I so think Kujaku will not be out of it… they just really love him (and so do we ^^)

I love that Tsubasa has had a decent amount of RG Veda parts despite the manga being so old, with nice roles for Ashura/Yasha/Ryuu-ou/Souma (even a cameo by Ryuu-ou’s awesome mom!). Now I just want Fye flashbacks with Ashura-ou and an appearance by Taishakuten to make the bliss complete.

OHMAN…. oh man… no, I can’t even…. oh man…. THAT IS THE BEST CHAPTER OF Tsubasa in the history of forever!!! …….and it’s never gonna be animated like that ever…… *cries*
The arm…. just the arm being carried in. AWESOME. Pure awesome! Kandappa! I was wondering where she was! So awesome… it’s a wonder Kurogane isn’t fucked up in the present.

Yeah it was one of my favorites too ! I know it’ll be hard to have it animated… but this is what you get when having an Anime… censorship with the original ideas -__- That’s why the manga will always be on my heart as mt favorite one…

I’ve never read RG-Veda and I’ve only read bits of X, so the violence in both stories really surprised me. ._. Even though I read the comments before the chapitres, that last shot of Kurogane’s face-! Oh my God poor Kurosama. ;_; I bet Fei Wong was behind Fai’s sorrow, too. I also think that once he discovers who was responsible for his parents’ murders, Syaoran won’t have to do anything anymore but watch Kurogane turn the enemy to dust.
Anyway, the new character introduces herself as Amaterasu, emperor of the country of Nihon. Her younger sister Tsukuyomi, who sees dreams, predicted that monsters would ravage Suwa. I thought RG-Veda was largely about Hindu mythology, but they seem to use Japanese myths here instead. I wonder if Amaterasu’s violent brother Susano-oh will show up too?

I think CLAMP made a great mix in here… because yes RG Veda is about hindu myths, but this is not RG Veda, this is Tsubasa, and better, this is Nihon !

That chapter was quite overwhelming. Poor Kurogane – after we saw what a nice family he had too. He couldn’t protect his mother, and then, still reeling from the shock, he sees his father’s *arm* being devoured. o.o
I wonder how Shaoran-kun can possibly look at Kurogane after reading the book now.

First, about Watanuki’s eye, I wouldn’t count it as lost yet, she eat it on the very last page of the chapter, someone could appear on the first page of the next chapter and make her throw it out (I’m thinking of Doumeki who asked Yuuko if it was really lost a few weeks ago). Don’t think I desesperately want it back, I like one-eyed men, but it would be the perfect timing for a coup de théâtre (or for nothing at all).
Then Tsubasa, ooooh, it’s getting good! I’m really eager to see how this series will unfold, it seems Ohkawa will give us a terrible story à la Rg Veda (Kurogane’s parents’ deaths kind of remind me Karyobinga’s, Saya’s or Emeraude’s, who were unexpectably cruel compare to the story so far, it bode well for a story in the old style).
And finally, the last black star appeared! I hoped she would be in Souma’s world, because of the sketch of the guide book (I mean, why draw both of them side by side if they weren’t suposed to be together, but I though it would be for later in the series), but didn’t dare to hope her that soon. As for the animation, I suppose we won’t see Kuro’s father arm, just his sword in the mouth of the goblin, and maybe his mother won’t be that bloody. -_-

Although I have my mind “Kuro-papa will die too” before, but… I still’s terribly shock. I almost cried when I see his hand in the goblin’s mouth . And I’ve already cried after reaching the last page. That’s so angst!!! No maybe it’s more tragedy than X. Seeing the death of two most loved people at the same time with his own eyes. What’s more tragic than that? That’s CLAMP-ish! I love that! But it still shocked me! The eyes in the last page make the deep impression in my heart!! Oi, CLAMP ~~~! What will Syaoran’s expression be after seeing this scene??? I bet he’ll cry. Now I begin to hate Fei Wong. No matter reason is, no one’s right to kill people. Somebody will be sad, somebody will cry for them. Hix!
It’s great when seeing Kendappa-ou ^^. When you see Souma, you’ll see Kendappa. That’s definitely truth. Like Sei-chan and Subaru, Ashura and Yasha ^^. But why CLAMP change her name +___+? Amaterasu??? May be that’s not her real name, just a tittle when she was an empress. I’ve read the Tsubasa translation and I knew Tomoyo have a power like Hinoto, seeing future in dream and passing in another’s dream >< X-ish!! Amaterasu's younger sister is Tsukuyomi, who saw dreams, predicted that monsters would ravage Suwa. If her sister were Tomoyo, it would be an odd thing : Tomoyo must be younger than Kurogane (like we knew in the first vol)and in the past, Kuro's still young. I assumed he's 25 years old at the present, Tomoyo may be 15 years old because she's like Sakura and Syaoran. And in the past when he see "that scene", he is about 15 or 16, so Tomoyo's 5 or 6 X___X, Too young to be a yumemi! I know in CLAMP manga we don't think about the age. But it'should be suited about time. May be she's not Tomoyo? I think she 's Hinoto ^^ So, in the past, Kendappa is an empress of Nihon, at the present, Tomoyo is the princess. What's happened to Kendappa-ou??? Alive or die too? Another tradedy strory?
About XXXHolic, I don't think Watanuki lost his eye. The spider woman say "I keep this." It's mean she can return it. I hope so though I don't know how can she return after swallowing this +__+ If Doumeki know that, she will be shot to death ^^ What are Yuuko and Doumeki doing??? I miss them. Please appear in the next chapter. I can't wait it XD

Am i the only one that thinks that kuro-papa was not killed by goblins? I think he was killed by someone else and made it look like he was killed by goblins. Maybe because i think he was too strong to be killed by mere goblins, who found the arm and wanted a snack.

I think Kurogane isn’t going to get along with Amaterasu all that well. I speculate Amaterasu (Kendappa-ou?) and Tsukiyomi end up going to war at some point and Kurogane is on Tsukiyomi’s (Tomoyo-hime?) side. After all, when he saw Outo Sohma, he mentioned Amaterasu when he thought Sohma had left Tomoyo’s side to join Amaterasu.
