Yeah! Yeah! You read it right! A Tsubasa Chronicle movie is in the works!!!! ^___^
The news was announced on Shonen Magazine double edition (out this Wednesday), so, it’s more than confirmed!
Check out the cover HERE (The kanjis above the little pic of Sakura means “The announcement of the Movie” or something like that ^^)
This is everything we know until now. No release dates yet. Will BeeTrain make a good movie? o.O But wouldn’t be great if this movie crosses over with XXXHOLiC? It’s almost certain it will ^___^

It’s not funny! ;_; Because:
a) XXXHOLiC was special because they were going to do a movie. Now TRC is taking the spotlight out of it, because it has the TV series AND a movie! What is my fandom reduced to? I weep!
b) Come on, 1.5 to 2.5 hours of character butchering, .hack music and pink glow of doom? For the love of God, 26 chapters = 13 hours are not good enough torture?!

Wait until Yuki Kajiura will compose the holic partition and you will really start to cry (well maybe you will be happy because the BG music will cover Yuuko’s seiyuu voice that you hate so much ^^)

Well at least I know I’m pratically in love with Watanuki and Doumeki’s seiyuu so I’m not too worried. If they are faithful with Clamp’s script nothing can go wrong *eyes suspiciously episode 4 of TRC*

That’s the problem, alright. The script and the character design. If they get better people to work on it, I’ll be pleased. I’m going to give Yuuko’s seiyuu the benefit of the doubt. Maybe with the right character design and more practice, she might sound better. However, Watanuki and Doumeki WILL sound good; you can tell ^^
Question. Do you (or Yuuto-kun) know if Ohkawa is working with Bee Train in the TC anime scripts? Because I don’t see any CLAMP touch so far in the so-called plot…

No, Ohkawa is not working on Tsubasa T-T Even in the Chobits time they said that working with weekly mangas are too much of a busy time… and they don’t have time to take care of the anime adaptations as with the monthly ones.
Now, I’m crossing my fingers for the script of both movies be made by Ohkawa. After all, it’s a MOVIE!

there’s two options with her when she was working with Madhouse
– she does everything (css sakura and rg veda for animate)
– she does one episode/ write lyrics for one song (chobits/ AL)
but will it be the same with Bee Train ? nothing is planned right now…. and I remember when X and chobits started, Clamp gave a lot of interviews showing how much they were involved with the anime staff, but for TRC i didn’t see anything.

Surely CLAMP attented to the meetings with BeeTrain staff to decide somethings of Tsubasa anime, but they can’t be too involved because they are way too busy T-T
I just hope they are more active in the movies!

well if it’s true they are quite ambitious… there’s only 3 episodes and they plan to suicide themselves into a high cost movie without trying to see if it’s actually popular ? *what ever*
I wonder if the japanese fandom like bee train work….
Anyway I think it’s cheap because if there’s a movie, they will probably end the tv show with a cliffhanger and oblige people to see what’s going in the theater (and that means that the poor little foreigners that we are will have to wait one year before knowing the real end. *sigh*

Oh, the movie is going to be dreadful! (the FMA movie, I mean.) Between the AU!version characters (alter!Al, you might be hot, but you’re not my Al), dragon!Envy and cosplay!Al, it’s going to be the biggest disaster ever.

ZUH. What the heck could the movie be about? Stand Alone World? Evil versions of themselves? Eh, whatever. I’m still wondering what american company is gonna pick the show up. Maybe they can infuse it with more emotion. ACTING!

You’re welcome 🙂 I’ve seen a page ripped from shonen magazine,and translated a bit of infos…First,as we thought,the animation will be made by Production I.G. 😉 then,the director will not be Mashimo anymore,but Itsurou Kawasaki(the only thing he was involved that I watched was Please save my Earth and I really like that one)..let’s hope he’ll be better than him..at least not so slow!;)Seiyuus will remain the same!The title of the movie is “Gekijouban Tsubasa Chronicle Tori kago no kuni no himegimi”,sounds like “Tsubasa Chronicle The Movie,The princess of the country of birdcages”..then,what else?Ah,there will be very soon a new site open,for the movies of Tsubasa and Holic..and yes,they will be linked in the story!;)Looking at the picture in the bottom of the page,Yuuko is very good…very sexy 😉 no need to worry about her,and also Tsubasa’s chara-des is pretty good!:D

Man, there’s already an illustration on Wing Journey, and it features a Princess Mary Sue. Horreur!!
However, it *seems* (or that’s what I’ve understood from the posts in the TRC communities and in Tricianna’s site; I got confused) the TC movie either will be released during the XXXHOLiC movie or they’ll be released at the same time. On August, both of them.
And I’m hoping movie!Yuuko will look the same as in that illustration, or I’ll stab people.
