I know it’s past midnight here but I couldn’t post this earlier, either way, this Sunday was the birthday of CLAMP’s member Satsuki Igarashi! She became 40 years old.

I have a lot of short things to say today, let’s start with the birthdays.
Today (by now yesterday in Japan), is the birthday of Satsuki Igarashi of CLAMP! The lady is turning 39 years old today, congratulations Igarashi-sensei! ^__^
Like a real fan and admirer, I can only wish her happiness and great achievements in her personal and professional life. May she keep contributing with her ideas and assistance for CLAMP’s benefit and development as a successful group (this fan also hopes that one day she’ll draw her own series for CLAMP).

On this first post in the first day of 2008 (5 minutes before midnight in Brazil, still Jan 1st xD), I bring you the latest CLAMP posts straight from their Private Boards. They are mostly greeting messages and resolutions for 2008. There are some drawings, too, of course!

The NEWS BOARD section of CLAMP-NET.COM is announcing that a series of trading cards game featuring the CLAMP characters is in production.
Entitled CLAMP in CARDLAND and distributed by Upper Deck, the sales are scheduled to begin on the next autumn. CLAMP will draw the package illustrations.
Today is another very special day because Satsuki Igarashi of CLAMP is celebrating on more birthday. She’s 38 years old now ^__^
Even though in Japan is no longer February 8th, right here we are still on it, so I’m gonna pay my compliments to her XD
I wish her a lot of happiness, peace and a healthy life (and my that be a very long life). I hope she’ll keep showing us her talents of artist, designer and writer for many, many more years !

I highly recommend everybody to read it ! It’s so good because you can feel a bit more close to them, what they like, what they do, how they work, their tastes and experiences, it’s very great for those who like behind the scenes stuff.
Among the curiosities, we found out some of the food Satsuki likes, her opinion on candy toys (XD), what does she think about Live Action and how would it be if a CLAMP manga turned into one, her love for roller coaster and video-games and that she’s the only one in CLAMP who has a driver license !!!
