CLAMP in CARDLAND news

There are a few updates on CLAMP in CARDLAND official website about the upcoming 2nd Series.

As I have posted previously, the new Series will have 81 new cards, from which:

21 are Story Cards;
40 are Character Cards;
and 20 are Event Cards.

The cards’ rarity are divided in:

1 Secret (new illustration by CLAMP);
3 Ultra;
7 Super;
13 Rare;
and 57 Normal;

The website confirms Kobato., Mahou Kishi Rayearth and 20 Mensho ni Onegai!! as part of the Series, and apparently Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC too?

Like in the 1st Series, CLAMP will draw 3 new illustrations exclusively for CLAMP in CARDLAND.

More information as they come!

The 2nd Series of CLAMP in CARDLAND will be released on February, 2008.

In addition, the highest prize of the 1st Series’ Point Campaign, the Kamui and Subaru card, has showed up in Yahoo Auctions!

Eye-candy, isn’t it? *wants bigger version*

        • There has to be!! Only two things I want to see, and I think it’s not asked too much: Hokuto and a Happyhappyhaaaaaaaaappy End for Seishirou and Subaru. >_< My life’s nothing worth if that won’t happen. ;_;

    • I think theirs looks accentuate the fact they are vampires : their aspects, their moves, even the sweetness of their smell and everything about them seduce people; they are hunters and they charm their preys : the humans, to get their blood (if you know the Twilight serie by Stephenie Meyer, all the vampires are all excessively/abnormally beautiful for all those reasons…).

      And leaving that aside, I think thery’re absolutely gorgeous!! XD XD XD
      Very sensual!!

    • >Subaru looks more like a girl than Hokuto

      Hahahah xD

      It’s okay if you don’t like it, we’re not supposed to like everything CLAMP draws *though I think this is how things go for me xDDD*

      I actually like it ^^ But I totally support you in your “bring Hokuto back” campaign ò.ó

  1. I like the airbrush quality of the card itself, but the full picture is very nice. 😀 And Subaru looks like a sexy little thing, doesn’t he? And we likes his arm around Kamui’s back. Mmmmmm.

    • How can you tell it was painted with airbursh? If you don’t mind explaining it to me, of course ^^ *is curious*

      HAhaha although I think Kamui looks sexier…. XD

  2. Oh, yessss….that card is sooo lovely!
    *look as her own avatar*
    Well, I’m a little bit sad for Hizaki, the person on the former one, but this card, when I saw it, says me: “Use me as avatar, baby!”

    I’m so glad for the 2nd series despite I still couldn’t buy them.

  5. Oh My God! This is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for the pics! (Although, I really want to see one with Subaru and Seishirou-san. Or maybe even a Fuuma and Seishirou one?) For some strange reason, I thought Subaru looked younger than Kamui.

    • Maybe for the next Series! Let’s cross or finger. As for me, I would like a new illustration featuring X characters in every Series xD

      >For some strange reason, I thought Subaru looked younger than Kamui.

      He kind of does indeed O.o well-spotted. I think it’s the pose? xD They are supposed to have the same age, after all.

  6. I was wondering : how can the people out of Japan obtain the secret cards?
    Because I should receive my cards soon (bought them on ebay…) but how could I get the secret ones? o__O
    As for adding up TRC and Holic once again, no surprise : a friend of mine told me she felt sad when she realized that ALL the cards from the 1st serie of Clamp in Cardland were B&W pics chosen from only the very first books of each manga.
    Translation : for CCS, for example, no Sak&Syao cards, no Syaoran, no Eriol nor anyone/anything that comes after vol01-02 of CCS; same for the others : for TRC, there’re only pics of the 2 first volumes (when there’re in Hanshin with the kudans) …etc… So I guess in the next series we will get more pics from the latest books…?
    That said, she was still VERY satisfied with her cards and was really glad she got them, there’re beautiful from what she said ^__^

      They already got 100 points (through the point cards) and have applied for it ^^

      Etto… I think you’ll have to search ’till someone sells them ^^”

      That’s not really true, there are some colored illustrations too ^^

      I guess you have a point here. It’s the same for X and RG Veda. I think the biggest series will feature most likely all Series. We shall see more and more pictures as we get new Series.

      If you ever got the Kamui & Subaru card, please scan it for us!! XD
