So Fei Wang’s wish is finally and officially revealed! He wants to revive someone (in big, huge and bold words xD).
Hum, a lot of people have guessed that already, including myself (I remember I used to think he wanted to revive the Syaoran inside the tube… early theories xD). It’s still very nice to have that confirmation, no more theories on that matter. A new theory starts now: who he wants to revive? My first and most obvious guess is Clow, of course. Because he is the only character that we know and is dead. Apart from that, Clow is related to Fei Wang… who knows what kind of bond they had. I have to say, though, that Watanuki might have something to do with it.
So the feather protected Seishirou from Syaoran’s blow. No surprise here. Like I had imagined, Syaoran wouldn’t win this fight.
Seishirou’s got his blind eye again!!! (Unless it’s just one shot? But I think it’s not) I love the idea that when the feather’s power is enabled, it’s like Seishirou’s most evil side wakes up, and that side is indicated by his blind eye. Very clever idea! And of course, in Outo he had his blind eye during the entire time because the feather’s power was constantly there, turning the game world into reality.
Speaking of the feather, what happened later is very confusing. It’s one of those moments “Sakura splits in two: body and soul”. We saw WHAT happened, but we don’t quite understand WHY xD I think it’s useless trying to find more explanation than what Fye already told us. Tsubasa is a fantasy story, and sometimes we just have to forget about logic and common sense, and simply accept it xD
CLAMP needed to bring Syaoran to the World of Dreams somehow, and this is what Ohkawa came up with. The equation is simple: feather with mysterious power + sacred tree of Nihon = World of Dream ticket.
And now the questions:
– Did Syaoran knew such a thing would happen?
– Did he get the feather at all?
– Where’s Seishirou?
– WHOSE hand is that?
In one moment we see Syaoran reaching for the feather, the other we see a hand reaching for Sakura. Normal brains would make the following conclusion: the hand belongs to Syaoran. However, why Sakura’s expression shows fear? Why hide the hand’s owner if we are supposed to know it’s Syaoran? Besides, the hand reaching for Sakura is a left hand, but Syaoran is using his left hand to hold the feather (unless he quickly changed it to his right hand xD)
I don’t think it’s Fei Wang, not now… I think it’s the clone.
CLAMP and their hands of doom coming from the back, and they are always in that same, creepy position xD
Tsubasa is getting hot! And these events call for tube-sequence *-* What a cliffhanger, and there’s one more chapter until the end of the volume, can’t wait for next week’s cliffhanger.

I really don’t have much to say about this chapter (although I gotta say that Watanuki asking Doumeki about his food was cute xD). It’s still very confusing, but at least now Watanuki is fully aware of this confusion. Watanuki is a boy who’s supposed to have a terrible fate but if he wishes with all his heart he can change it. I think that’s XXXHOLiC’s main motto.
I shall not question anymore why Watanuki saw Sakura even though he’s around Doumeki and Himawari, apparently Watanuki lives in the World of Dreams. I shall just wait and see what happens, or until I have enough information to come up with new theories.
Oh, the hand is here too! Both Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC’s chapters ending in the exact same point, we don’t see something like that in quite some time… and now we know why XXXHOLiC kept getting delayed xD
I’m looking forward to see the hand’s true identity in XXXHOLiC’s point of view.

I’m really hoping that the Dream World plot will be in HOLiC instead of in both series. While that’s going on, I hope CLAMP takes the opportunity to wrap up the subplot with Seishirou/Subaru and Fuuma/Kamui in TRC. Running the two together and having the same thing happening in both will just get ridiculous. =/ And really, both series seem to be heading for their end and the X subplot is a major one that needs to be resolved before that, they have the opportunity to do that now without causing HOLiC delays, so… that’s the route I want to see them take.
I really have no ideas about the hand. At first I thought C!Syaoran but I… really don’t know. Sakura just looks baffled so maybe it’ll be someone completely unexpected and random? Like, say, Kohaku? XDDDD

Indeed, we have to see the outcome of that.
As for the hand, I think it’s someone we know, actually I think it’s either one of the two Syaorans. (Kohaku, LOL xD)

Well, the reason I say that is because both series ended the same way this chapter, but I really don’t want to see the Dream World story in both from this point on. It makes more sense for it to be in HOLiC and let the other subplots be tied up in TRC while the chance is there. And, you know, them finally giving up some answers on WTF was up with Ashura-ou at last would be nice. XD
My guess would be R!Syaoran over C! Syaoran just because I imagine C!Syaoran’s hands would be bloodier. Last we saw him he was covered in blood and I doubt he’s had the opportunity to shower lately and he doesn’t exactly have a soul that can cross into the dreamworld so it has to be his physical self somehow… which is bloody. XD You know it would be epic. Everyone’s expecting it to be some violent, evil person who will bring moar misery and woe upon the group, imagine the WTFery that would go on if Sakura turned around and there’s a smiling, bubbly angel behind her there to alleviate all her woes? XD

Hum, I think we’ll see a bit of the Dream World in Tsubasa… after all it’s vital to the story (I want to see whose hand is that!). But I guess they’ll just alternate between Mokona and the others and the World of Dreams in TRC.

That’s a very smart guess! The only reason why I think it’s not R!Syaoran is because of all the “mystery” around it. We know he is entering the World of Dreams so there’s no reason to hide it. But maybe CLAMP just wanted to end with that kind of cliffhanger xD

Well, I always knew that Fei Wang’s wish had to do with love, he’s just so ambitious he’ll do anything to grant it. I reckon it’s Clow too, I don’t know, he just looks like he was in love with Clow or something xD

Ahhhh, Watanuki why do you keep falling asleep on us? And this could get very interesting, I am senseing a four way meeting in the world of dreams, maybe R!Sharoan whill be able to knock some sense into that clone. Or love, I think he needs a heart more than common sense.

I’m almost Certain my neighbors heard me scream when I saw the last page of Holic…because I hadn’t seen Holic yet…only Tsubasa’s newest chapter.
Is Watanuki really supposed to have a terrible fate? I hadn’t thought of it that way…that’s horrible!
Though I was rereading Holic since I just got the first 3 books and the fortune teller talks about his parents dying to protect him…so he did HAVE them at some point…she didn’t have to go into so much detail if she was just answering what he wanted to hear. SO yea…I do believe ONE world Watanuki is in is an actual world…it reflects aspects of eachother…but the world of Himawari and Doumeki is his real world…i think….I’ll have a beter idea when I finish reading that chapter.
And as to Watanuki suddenly seeing sakura…I think he passed out again, not compleatly asleep maybe..but like when Kohane’s mom attacked him…he’ll wake up later to find that Doumeki caught him and that he HAD to see what was going to happen to Sakura

I’ve no idea which world is reality in XXXHOLiC anymore… I used to think the one with Doumeki and Himawari was reality, but I’m not even sure of that anymore. Let’s take an example: so he went to Green Drugstore in volume 1. Kazahaya and Rikuou DO exist, right? So, it’s complicated…. it feels like even though he’s there, it’s like he’s not. Maybe the “real” Watanuki is not the one we know, and that is just his shape materialized from his dream… maybe the real Watanuki is sleeping somewhere…

God, I think you are SO right! Maybe we won’t see whose hand that was at all in XXXHOLiC. I wouldn’t be surprised if CLAMP do that >_

I don’t know if you are familiar with Kanon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanon) but **spoilers** That’s exactly what happened to one of the main characters of that series. I hope Clamp comes up with something better than that. Not because I think it’s lame or anything. Just because it’s been done before.

And you know, it’s almost impossible to create things nobody has ever created before. It’s like making a cake: the ingredients are always the same, but the each person makes different kinds of cakes out of them ^^

Maybe the clone’s appearance in the World of Dreams is different O.o Sakura changed her clothes when she got in it, what if the clone will also look different? Maybe inside the World of Dreams we look like our souls. Am I talking nonsense? xD

Think about it, Subaru has a record of getting into other people minds, even in Tsubasa, in Acid Tokyo with Sakura.
Besides, it’s true that we have apparently only 5 volumes left, but I think is to early for either of the Shaorans to reach Sakura; but if the hand was Subaru’s it will also explain Seishiro’s presence…

The chapter is so strange because everybody’s talking and no one is paying attention to the little Syaoran who’s hunged to the Cherry Blossom tree. (Don’t worry Syaoran I’ll love ’till the end of time)
Well, the last image is very striking because Sakura is with her white dress ( he one beloved from the takoubon 1 ^_-) and behind her there are some hand trying to catch her…(noooo Sakura, be careful) So… I really don’t know how the story is going to carry out now, because the people from xxxHolic are behind the curtains too.
It’s a joyful mix where everybody have a trauma or have lost an eye (poor Fye, Watanuki, Seichirou) even or an arm (poor little Kuro, I’m so angry with CLAMP because of that)
Well, I’m really looking forward the next chapter… I’m addicted to those stories…

I really hope so.
I’m wondering if the coloring pages could be the same as ones in volume 1, it could be wonderful and we could see the little change in CLAMP’s drawings. But, wherever the picture of the tube were, I’ll be so glad to see them after almost 23 volumes ^_-.
It is the largest story in CLAMP’s work and I love it, even with all of the tragedy, loses of parts of the body and all that stuff.
I’m wondering too when they’re going to release the end of X… It could be great if the three series ended at the same time, but… It could be desatrous for their economy 😉

Ja ja ja, of course it’s one of the best parts and CLAMP are very hard-working for being able to fix both stories in a perfect enviroment without make any mistake.
Please chibiyuuto, don’t missunderstand me , but remember that it is a serie based on the characters of Card Captor Sakura. That’s why I mean that it’s a tragedy… It’s a bit shocked for me to see little Sakura on the verge of dying or disdaing Syaoran. On the other hand I’m very excited with the ins and outs of Tsubasa R.C….

Probably this is the Ultimate Move Ohkawa made up to surprise us! She makes us believe that Clow is a too obvious guess, so we’ll think FWR wants to revive someone else and when we’ll discover that FWR wants to bring Clow back to life we’ll be very surprised! XD

Well… not terrified, but if he’ll appear covered in blood and with a killer glare with the idea of taking her out of the Dream right into FWR house, probably she’d be a little worried… XD

I don’t think so… when he wakes up he admits to himself that that is also a dream. I think he will only wake up for good in the very end of the story. And when that happens, it’s going to be a huge twist (that’s what I think XD)

I think that hand could be one of the both syaorans hand or someone else’s
but why would sakura look that scared?…I mean
it could be clone syaoran…his hand doesn’t have to be bloody
if he is inside the world of dreams, since sakura’s soul got there
looking unharmed unlike her physical side…and even if his soul
is not supposed to get there, clamp can always surprise us
it could as well be real syaoran, which makes a lot of more sense
except for the ‘tiny’ detail, in both cases…why is sakura looking that
terrified? x_x…poor thing
and wow I didn’t expect fei’s wish to be revealed this chapter but thank god it was! we’re getting closer and closer to the end! *ish happy* and yeah it so could be clow, but then again, that’s kinda obvious (it’d still be cool), and we like to be surprised so clamp surprise us xDDDD …

Tsubasa was really exciting for me this week, I was jumping up and down XD;.
Anyway, my guess is that C!Syao and R!Syao will meet in the tube and.. yeah. We’ll see what happens from there. They’d probably fight or something, which would explain why (R?)Syaoran’s kind of “knocked up” in the very first chapter.
The tube scene is probably coming up real soon too. =3
The hand is either C!Syaoran or Kyle (someone pointed that out, makes sense!) – that’s my guess. But, Sakura kinda looks.. shocked? Maybe it’s just shock that somebody is entering the Dream World?
Hehe ^A^ I can’t wait for the next chapter.
And xxxHolic’s just confusing the heck outta me. XD Poor Watanuki though, I feel bad for him.

It’s about time we found out Fei Wang’s true goal! I was happy when we found out.
However, it just doesn’t make sense to me if it’s Clow. How do you revive someone who has two reincarnations?
Personally, I think he’s trying to revive Hokuto. Why? Because I miss her. Clamp needs to put her in Tsubasa. She’s one of my favorite Clamp characters, and I hate how she’s just dead now.

I think the thing Syaoran is hiding from Watanuki is something different than what happened in this chapter… I think it’s something much bigger and more directed to Watanuki.
And did you notice how the feather kind of chose to go towards Syaoran? Really interesting…

But in the tube, they were also separated by a glass wall. So I don’t think the tube scene will happen just yet. Something is going to happen that will make Syaoran and Sakura part ways.

That is very interesting and a touching detail… in TB Sei was lawyas faking in front of suabru and he only revealed his true intentions when he became half blind… Here when he has 2 eyes is akind guy, when he has a white one… is the Sakurazukamori 😛

Agree with you on both Fei Wong and the clone, but I know there’s a piece missing that we’ve just got to wait on, and I can’t wait to find out about Syaoran’s parents and Watanuki’s…everything! 🙂

But they are normally very attached to logic and common sense, but in TRC, I don’t know, but I feel like they are taking the “fantasy” a little too far. Even fantasy stories has rules, I mean. I still haven’t fully understood what happened with Sakura, and now this. I just hope they’ll explain these gaps later (although I have a feeling they just won’t xD)

the second was ‘ehhh, what’s happened?’ because I totaly didn’t get the whole taken into the dream world thing until I read your comments!
also, totaly guessing here, but, person Fei Wang wishes to revive = Clow and hand = Clone Shaoran (hense the fear!)
