The characters section in the official website of Tsubasa TOKYO REVELATIONS has been updated.
They have added the setteis of Kamui, Subaru, Fei Wang and Xing Huo (all very pretty and very faithful). Moreover, the setteis of Syaoran, Sakura and Kurogane that before were black and white are now properly colored (but where’s Fye?).
Additionally, a new entry of the Producer’s Diary has been added. Apparently Maaya Sakamoto’s song has just been finished.
As you might as well know by now, the first Tsubasa OAD will be released on November 16th and will have it’s first preview session on October 21st.
Before going, I would like to point out that usomitai has translated a CLAMP interview that was published last year on Animedia.
The interview is focused on XXXHOLiC and Tsubasa, mostly, and gives a great overview on their creation process and on CLAMP’s current routine. You can read the interview here. Really worth reading!
EDIT: There’s a secret settei hidden in certain areas of Syaoran’s setteis. Still in the thumbnails view, click on Syaoran’s hand at the 2nd thumbnail (from left to right) and you’ll be able to see setteis of the other Syaoran. You can access that secret settei through other ways such as by clicking on blank spaces of the remaining thumbnails (clickable areas where the “+ ZOOM” text does not appear). If still cannot see it, click here.

The faces are really pretty, but the shoulders and arms look a bit weird; also, they seem to be so tall! What are they going to do with Fuuma? Make him a giant robot?!

hahahaha I think they really managed to capture Tsubasa’s anatomy. I don’t see any problems with the shoulders or the arms like you said (But then again, that’s your opinion! ^__^)

Well, they look like sticks (the arms, I mean — the shoulders are just very manly *lol*). Maybe the vampires were on a diet or something. But then I wonder how they could grow this tall. XD” Tsubasa characters aren’t that tall and much more chibi-fied overall. Ah, well. We’ll have to wait till it’s out to know if it’s good or not, I think.

Su-chan’s right, the only colored page of Fai are the sketches of him wearing the Tokyo clothes. But I must say that black and red are not his colors (only looks good on Kuro XD). Except when he looked pretty good with the Infinity clothes, which was all black. NE!!! ^^

Everything looks beautiful, but it’s completely heartbreaking that there’s not one production sketch of Sakura or Syaoran smiling 😦 Just Subaru and Fye (or all people ^^;)

All of the Kamui, Subaru, Fei Wang and Xing Huo’s sheet have lost the “OVA #1” note of the first Settei, it’s now just “OVA” or nothing at all.
The colors of the OVA’s Sakura, Syaoran and Kurogane are close to the TV series’ one, but not completely the same. Sakura is the one who’s colors are the most different. A shame we only have color Fay in Tokyo outfit, I suppose we’ll get the rest next time. Notice TRC!Syaoran is #001. Sakura is #003, Kurogane #004 and Fay #005, it seems CCS!Syaoran is #002 and that they already started to color his settei. Kamui has his old vampire outfit, but not his Tokyo outfit … weird. On the Syaoran’s Settei page, there are four thumbnails. If you click on them, you’ll get the enlarged version. But, on the second one, the upper right one, if you click on Syaoran’s stand alone hand or on the feet nearby, you’ll get CCS!Syaoran’s arms and legs with Feiwang’s black sceals on it. Try it, it’s harmless. XD

On the colored settei, the title begin with a number and a name, 001_小狼, 003_サクラ, 004_黒鋼 and 005_ファイ. The absence of 002 hint it is the second Syaoran and the fact that there’s an uncolored sheet for Kurogane and only one colored sheet for Fay hint that they are coloring them in order (and logically, I would do both Syaoran together while I’m working with the same colors and design).

Right, they are red (I’m messing this with the original Indian pattern which are black ^^;).
You mean there are two Syaorans relative to Clow Read? The same Clow Read Yuuko indentified as CCS!Clow Read? Two Syaoran that use the same sword, the same spells? I understand Clamp statement to mean “this story has nothing to do with CCS’s storyline, both stories are totally independant”, which is true, but that doesn’t mean no character from CCS can crossover to Tsubasa. We have the same Clow Read in both story, why not Syaoran? Or if Clamp said the original Syaoran is not the CCS!Syaoran, I missed the interview.

They never did. They went as far as calling him “Shin Syaoran” (true Syaoran) in one of their radio shows.

Maybe we are influencing each other too much, but I don’t feel like there are that much evidences against real!Syaoran being CCS!Syaoran (and for God’s sake, real is one letter longer than CCS, I’m too lazy not to jump in the CCS!Syaoran’s bandwagon XD).

OMG!!!! thanks so much for the news… the new sketches are just amazing o_o !!… i just can’t wait until the next site update maybe they’ll have the colores versions for subaru, kamui, etc… I got a question do you know where i can read the TRC Manga or get scanlations??, i live in Mexico and the publishers of TRC got stucked on the 13th volume T-T i feel so lost now.

On the other hand, and totally out of topic: dont you miss the smiling Fye? It´s almost as if he has become a totally different person, despite i know he was faking all the time before… but it´s so sad; i miss the cheerfull Fye…Well, see you again another time.

Ah¡ The main characters of the OVA look soo nice… I love Kurogane, with that black suit, he’s so gorgeous. And Fye is very loyal to the manga with that kinda smile, jeje. Syaoran, he is lovely (should I say more?), and Subaru and Kamui are very very good… Kamui has his angry-serious-taught smile, but he’s great. Sakura has no changes, she remains the same and that’s why she’s so nice.
Well, after talk about everybody the only thing that I can do is wait for them in the OVAs. ^_- (I`m happy)
