CLAMP Internet Radio #22

Favorite Talk of Flour Fortress

The special guest of this episode is the famous seiyuu Yukana (formerly Yukana Nogami)!

Yukana’s curriculum is huge and due to that, CLAMP calls her “Queen” (in the same way Makino Yui is the princess, Fukuyama Jun the prince and Kazuya Nakai the king). Yukana lent her voice to a vast number of CLAMP characters, she was Meiling Li in CCS, Kotoko in Chobits, Yuzuriha in X The Movie and C.C. in the latest Code Geass.

Now, I must say, this girl has the cuuuuuuuuuuuuutest voice, makes me wanna cuddle her -^_____^-

As you might well know, the episode was entirely centered on her. CLAMP asked the usual questions they do to their seiyuu guests: birthday, personal tastes, about the career, auditions, etc. It’s basically Yukana speaking during 70% of the time.

Later we have the listeners who have sent their questions, and these were more related to the roles she played in the CLAMP animes.

I’m sure there must be way more to it, but I simply wasn’t able to understand most of it xD For that I apologize, but everytime there’s a guest in the show it’s harder to figure out what they are speaking @_@

The next guest to make an appearance is Syaoran’s seiyuu, Miyu Irino, scheduled for episode 24.

    • Really? I haven’t watched to the original CCS dubbing (which is a shame), only the movies (but Meiling doesn’t appear much in them). She’s the cutest, Yukana.

      • CCS was the only pre-teen mahou shoujo I ever liked, only CLAMP would be able to create a mahou shoujo that was so incredibly cute that I wouldn’t loathe, considering that usually magical girls of that age annoy the hell out of me.

        The CCS dubbing was adorable, the casting was incredible and it was one of the things that bummed me when I started watching Tsubasa, since they changed the cast. I’ve grown used to them, but I loved the original CCS cast.

        As for downloading, I’ve been downloading stuff you put up since as long as I can remember and you usually get me my Tsubasa fix before the tankubon is released, so THANK you. Besides, I was also very happy to find out you’re also a Portuguese speaker, sometimes I feel incredibly alone. ^^

          Oh, I love CCS dubbing as well! “Watch the entire japanese version of CCS” is on my list of “Things I Need To Do Before Dying” XD

          • I have them all raw, if you really want them, I can get them to you, I bought the Japanese DVDs in the midst of my CCS obsession.

            Eu nunca tinha dito que falava português, acho que percebi que você falava no último meme que você postou e adicionei à minha friends list.

            Eu passo o tempo todo postando em inglês porque a maioria das pessoas que lê o meu LJ é estrangeiro.

  6. Is this available in torrent? I can’t DDL with my SLOW internet connection . . . I can ask a friend to download it for me though . . .but she’s been very busy ^^; I don’t want to bother her ^^;

  8. Thank you very much for the information and for the radio programe, as always. I’ve come back from my holidays in England, so I’m here to comment your news and the reviews of the chapters. In this month away I’ve lost a lot of important things about Tsubasa… the chapters are now very interesting and… well… very paranoid because of the lovely Ashura-ou.
    Nevermind, I’m here again and I’ll follow Tsubasa again, and xxxHolic too.

  13. I just reallise I haven’t taken since #11! o.O (and what’s that “Not peeking at my folders, are you? xDDD”, I use to get the back number that way before XD I’ll find a way around, don’t worry ^_^)
