Got the script from iamsocool12345 earlier this week, but only now I had time to sit and edit it.

I’m gonna post some comments now since back when the raws were out I couldn’t.
I was wondering when that character would appear. What kind of animal do you think it is? I thought it looked like a fox but iamsocool12345 thought it was a raccoon xDD I guess it’s not a fox because it would look like the Oden Fox of XXXHOLiC if it were so… maybe it’s indeed a raccoon.
Anyway, I was wondering when he would appear on the manga, after all, he was in several illustrations of the ALBUM (probably in some of the CLAMP No Kiseki comics, too? O.o I don’t remember). Maybe we’ll see that big back bear too, what was his name, Baumkuchen?
Anyway, again, the raccoon sort of reveals a little about our dear Ioryogi. To start with that’s not his real name, humm… not his real shape as well. But that’s quite predictable, he obvious took that form so he can walk around with Kobato during her mission. I just wonder if his real form is a human form or still a creature, much like Kero/Kerberos?
Ginsei’s name, however, is his true name… it would be cool if his true shape was a human’s. He would be wearing an eye-patch with a scar on his other eye.
Did you also sensed something more than rivalry between Ioryogi and Ginsei? Specially on Ginsei’s side xD It was very cute to see Ioryogi defending Kobato, nonetheless xD

Thank you! Things in Kobato. just keep getting “curiouser and curiouser,” as they say. Ginsei looks more like an imaginary animal than any real one to me. Actually, he kind of reminds me of the bunny-people from the country of Idols in TRC. Except not quite.

Even if CLAMP said that this Ioryogi is different from CNK one, it looks like they put some similar characteristics. His rivalry with Ginsei and the fact that Ioryogi isn’t his real name was on CNK comics. So, no big surprise there. The interesting thing was to know that this isn’t his real shape.

It’s on CNK # 4, here CLAMP ask his name but he can’t speak because he has a fish in his mouth, so they put him the name “Ioryogi” because that’s what they believe to hear XDDD Also this comic say that this isn’t his true shape

And finally another question is opened XDDDD. If my theory that CLAMP put some clues or similarities in these comics, then “Ginsei” cannot be his true name because in the comics he says that this is a name that Ioryogi put him.

The plot is currently moving, I never though it would happen before the end of tankoubon 0.
So Ioryogi isn’t Kobato’s companion’s real name and the stuffed dog isn’t is true appearance. It seems they are old ennemies, Ioryogi and Gensei or rivals at best. And the new commer waited for Kobato to mind her business somewhere else before making his appearance, why? It seems there is some secret about his nature or his motive, Kobato isn’t suppose to know about him at this point of the story.
Also, it is the first time in the Newtype Kobato we have a to be continued story. Before, it was always a one chapter long story. I wonder if she’ll blunder before the end of this story or if she’ll get her bottle in chapter 9 or 10.

Hum, if Ioryogi and Ginsei are doing the same traning job, where is Ginsei’s trainee? That both Ioryogi and Ginsei were alone at the same time, in the same park, while their respective trainee is off, what are the odds? It’s more likely Ginsei has other kind of business to do that day, although maybe it was fate that made them meet while their trainees were off.
Well, we’ll see in the next chapters, maybe …

I remember I’ve read somewhere that Ioriyogi is a god or something like that… Am I correct? Maybe Ginsei is one too! I can’t imagine how they look like in their real shape, but I would bet for something like Kero-chan/Kerberos…
It’s too early for saying it for sure, but I can sense too that that kind of rivalry is not like “Hey! I’m your rival and I’m going to beat you down just because I feel like doing so!” XD
