Hey! she had a hard time being built on January 1rst, and now you said that she is almost like a mascot. Poor girl u___u (naah just kidding) But maybe the reason of her happiness-craziness is due to her birthday day XDDD (remember: CLAMP think that birthdays are really important).

Inside Chobits, I think she’s a mascot, but in the CLAMP world, she’s a character (she even got in 3-D land! XD)

But if we consider Sumomo as a mascot, then Kotoko is a mascot too XDDD
Moreover, we need to remember that Atashi is the real Chobits’ mascot. Also we can consider the rules:
1.-Most be in chibi form (O.K. Sumomo you are in) ^_^
2.-Most have an stuffed animal form or something like that (Sorry Sumomo you are out) u__u
Therefore Sumomo isn’t a mascot, she is a crazy character. Just like CLAMP thinks ^_^

Thank you and everyone @ the team for another lovely release! ^___^ I didn’t want to look at the raws just because I prefer to wait and read your scanlations :3 (the crossover in Exam 5 caught me by surprise, even though it’s obvious now that I think of it
and Exam 6 is sooo beautiful, both its art and its plot ^^).
That bit in the Chiroru/Tirol disclaimer wasn’t something you talked about with some time ago? I think he even was at my house at that moment XD

Yeah, they are really inserting characters from Chobits ^^ I loved it, I love that couple, and I hope they’ll appear more often ^^

Yes it was ! XD I thank him for the information. But I was going to do something like that sooner or later. I didn’t know the “Tirol” thing, but Jamie had came up with a 3rd translation XDDDDD (although she also thought “Chiroru” was better) We needed to cling to only one version, and make that clear to the readers.
I’m pretty sure the scanlations I read of Chobits called it “Chiroru”, and so did the Brazilian translation and the anime fansubs. I thought it could be a CLAMP’s play with the “Ch”, like in “Ch”obits and “Ch”ii.
But again, it was great that Clow-san told me that, so that everybody who knows it by “Tirol” can tell that we are aware of that name.

Weird, I’m pretty sure it was in the Chobits anime that I first saw “Tirol”. I thought it made a lot more sense than “Chiroru”, given the rest of the name. Maybe it was the distro I watched that used a different romanization.

Yeah, probably some fansubbers adopted “Tirol”. But I’m sure the ones I watched all used “Chiroru”, and so did JBC with the Brazilian version and I heard TokyoPop’s version too.

Yup, Suppy, Kero, Usyagi (the bunny from Wish) and the “Atashis” from Chobits are all mascots ^^ I think “mascots” are beings with no human shape and often looking like plushies.

I just bought Clamp Anthology 12. In the Clamp’s interview on page 7, Ohkawa talks about some Secret Folder on Interdimensional Trips. What is that????
Also, do you know where the omakes 5, 6, 7 were published?

Is the interview in English?
About the Omakes, I would have to look at my folders and right now I’m not in my computer (I don’t know them by heart). I know two Omakes were published in the 1st and 2nd character Guide.

I just made a journal so I’ll soon post some of my hypotheses on where Tsubasa’s story is going 🙂 Also, I’ll tell you for the omakes if I get an answer from moko_ko_nyanko 🙂
Do you understand what Ohkawa talks about in Clamp Anthology 12, page 7 ?. My version is in french, so it might be a bad translation from Japanese. Here is approximately what it says:
– Interviewer: Is there a detail that we should pay particular attention for the rest of the story ?
– Ohkawa: Pay attention to Xing Huo.
– Mokona: And to the manganyan!
– Ohkawa: We don’t talk about it(?) in Piffle World, but even if the dimension change, the content will be the same. (…) You will surely find it in ”Secret Folder on Interdimensional Trips”.
Do you know what is ”Secret Folder on Interdimensional Trips” ? Do you think it is related to the mangayan?

I had heard about the Xing Huo part, but I think the Manganyan thing is a joke xD I think they are refering to the manga magazine? I have no idea. Maybe the content of the magazine doesn’t change even if the dimension is different. Like we see in one of the Omakes, they show the same “story” published in Manganyan, and how it looks different in every world.
