Tsubasa:
In spite of most people, I liked the splash page xDDD But this motif is getting over-used already……
So Sakura had a secret conversation with Yuuko, as we have expected. And TRC now has what was missing to be a complete CLAMP work: Someone who had a vision of the future and now wants to change it xD
Just like her CCS-counterpart, this Sakura can also see the future, sometimes. She always had this ability but since she lost her memories that power was “sleeping” inside her. From what I could get, the vision concerned everybody, but specially Fye?
Yuuko’s expression during the conversation is worth mentioning, too. She has that “…she finally found out, there’s nothing I can do about it now” look on her face. Because she was the one who told Sakura that in this country she would be able to get the power to cross dimensions alone.
Now… is it really dimensionS? I know Eagle said the power is limited, but did I get right or is it limited for only ONE world? O.o If that is so, it would be such a desperate act for Sakura ! And now I’m even more sure that her decision wasn’t a selfish one.
What’s more, Eagle says that “she” will be able to bring Sakura to another world…. I wonder how? *scratches head*
I love Sakura in that dress ! She looks so pretty ^__^ It also reminds me of the dresses Chii wore in Chobits ^^
Then we have more S/S moments, very cutey ! But she acts so cold with him, the last page is very pretty! ^^
She doesn’t seem like she’s giving up with her decision at all. Which makes me think that the tube scene might be caused by this desperate Sakura who once got caught by a smart Fei Wang during her traveling-alone adventures, and her prince Syaoran came to rescue her, of course xD

XXXHOLiC’s timeline is finally up-to-date with Japan’s now, as they are now in winter again.
Ever since episode 5 of the XXXHOLiC anime, it is no secret that I love little oden Foxy and Papa Fox X3333 I mean, I liked them before, but that episode made me see them in a different light.
Little oden Foxy is the cutest thing of the entire XXXHOLiC series XDDDD I love how he says FOUR “ano”s in the same balloon XDDDD And I love when his tail gets all spiky XD
I didn’t get what was going on entirely, but it involved the little Foxy’s paw appearing in the middle of thin air while making a delivery? XD And then Watanuki felt pity for him having to walk around in such a cold weather so he made little gloves for him? I desperately need a translation XD
Anyway, this chapter was the cutest thing EVER XD
Does the fact that Doumeki could also see the foxes have any significance?
No fair, the foxes always get only one-chapter long arc, they deserve more attention u.u

CCS Clow sure is dead o.o and he’s the same of XXXHOLiC. Now, the Clow of Clow Country is dead too because Touya is the king now, and I think he has been buried under the ruins.

I too love Sakura’s dress XD it will have its own fanbase sooner or later, lol
someone said earlier they weren’t sure about her ‘hat’, I believe its meant to be a headdress similar to those that are popular in the gothic lolita style in Japan. In fact, this whole phase CLAMP are going through right now seems highly inspired by it.

But see, Doumeki has always been able to see and interact with youkai and high spirits. He already knew the little fox from the procession, which was youkai gallore. And I don’t think it’s the lantern’s work because he knows both of the warashi. What I don’t think Doumeki could see (pre-eyeball exchange, now he probably can through Watanuki’s half eye) are ghosts and maybe ayakashi. Maybe there are more things, but I don’t know.

Yes, I am aware of that. My point was that when Watanuki first met the Oden Fox, he said that not all human beings are able to see it. So that means Doumeki is special too, not that we didn’t know, though xD I was just wondering if this fact is going to have any other significance in the future or not…

TRC right now has too many open plot threads to base any commentary on, I just let myself be taken along for the ride at this point. My theorizing-ability is all KILLED DEAD. xDDD
And Eagle talks about crossing *worlds*, not dimensions (which is kinda the same to me here, but let’s be specific), also the method he can grant is both random and the person can be only transported once. 🙂

in some forum in spanish they don’t get why the chapter is not out yet and i even read that there no more room of requirement because something happens!!! I laugh so much with the idea of course i Know is only a delay beacause the Japanese have a holiday but i tell you to know how rummoers are!!!

Hmm.. This chapter almost seemed to be a let-down… Some things happened, but nothing terribly unexpected (and nothing putting us closer to Celes/Seresu/whatnot! Gyah!) However, this entire world, everytime I read (i use that term loosely…) a new chapter, i think “This reminds me of the clothing Chi wears…” haha
Though, i do have to wonder… On the splash page, is there anything significant about the apple on one of the ‘branches’ in the backgroung? It just seems REALLY out of place… Or this just something that I’ve found to obsess about? haha ^^ Thank you as always!

I noticed it, and it appeared on the Sakura/Syaoran splash page too o.o I could think of some significances for the S/S one (it’s the fruit of love, for example), but for Fye and Syaoran, no idea o.o

i’m starting to think that sakura will actually leave. which makes me wonder if mokona has more control over his ability to choose where they go than mokona has been letting on. i don’t think they’ll all be apart for long, anyway.
i loved the panel near the end of xxxholic when doumeki and the older fox are shown together with the same sort of “aren’t they so young” looks on their faces, it was really amusing to me. i love the foxes. and i really want oden.

Even if the splash pages are pretty, I miss the TRC pages that were sorta of random (you know, like one that shows Sorata and Arashi making takoyaki). Sakura’s dress is very cute; I think I like it more than the ones Chii wore.

I do miss the random splash pages too ! Like I said, they are getting over-used, these Infinity-based ones … but I hope that since now they made one with each pairing, they’ll move on to another motif ^^

xxxHOLiC again but it was a cute chapter. I love the gloves scene. However, something made me think: Watanuki just can’t see the little fox because he is still weak, or is because Doumeki’s blood is now working?. Doumeki can see the foxes because he can see with the half-eye that he gave to Watanuki, or something strange happen after the accident?
O.K. now my brain doesn’t work…

Reading spoilers is REALLY “spoiling” me…. when the actual chapter comes, all the fun is almost gone because I already knew beforehand…
As for XXXHOLiC, Watanuki could only see the foxy’s paw because the foxy wasn’t strong enough. Maybe the cold made him weak? That’s why he made him gloves? O.o I don’t know ^^;

I don’t know, many people it’s saying that “HER” is Mokona from MKR, and “her” is only the prize. Therefore, she is not going to fight.
So, thinking on it, I have these:
-O.K. sounds logic that “her” could be Mokona from MKR

-5 different worlds

-3 deities guardians

I can’t shake the feeling there’s something to it!
As for TRC, I’m putting my bet in on ‘her’ being Suu for pretty much sure now. She’s the only one I can think of with that much power. Oh, and I love how Sakura have prophetic dreams – made me a bit nostalgic for CCS. XD

Hello, chibiyuuto! oh, i also love the splash page. i´m sure that it´s Clone-syao, and he is always so cool.*-*. Clamp is making every chapter more sad than the previous, and i cant stand that look in real-syao eyes!! C´mon, sakura, stop beeing stupid and selfish!! despite that, i love her dress, i whish i have one like that… well, and also that squeeny figure of her.
I whish “her” would be Suu, and i think is possible. I think that what sakura needs now is someone with common sense.

Hey… I’m little late to post a comment here about TRC 143… Just as usual… Huahauaa… Anyway… I read paying a lot of atention… And I do agree now, sakura’s decision to travel through dimensions alone is not selfish… She foreseen something she didn’t like at all and really wanna do what the hell it is necessarily to avoid that… Now it’s to much sakura you know… She wanna protect the others… It’s the oposity of selfishness… I could understand a couple of thing now… Lol… I liked very much this chapter and I’m really anxious to read the next one..
And I agree with the rest you said… Yuuko’s face… Desperate decision… And stuff…
