The official website of the CLAMP in 3-D LAND figurines has been updated with information and sample images for the 2nd series. You can now see much bigger images of the figurines individually. The color theme of the new series is green ^_^
The package illustration has also been announced:

Things are definately looking hopeful for GD’s return, it’s getting a ton of focus lately. It’s interesting that with all of those CLAMP in Wonderland Extra’s, the series featured were all of their hiatus series.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, perhaps it’s a good sign? Weren’t Kobato, GD, and X all monthly series? I have no clue what Clover was. Regardless, I don’t think we’ll get back all of the hiatus series until TRC and Holic end, which looks like that’ll be sometime this year. Unless things drag out, but all this intentional spacing for Holic makes me doubt that. D:

You know, I have NO idea o.o But he IS very tall, you can notice that. Nekoi characters are very long and thin, but Yasha still BEATS him XD It’s amazing XD

*sigh* I doubt they’ll use them wisely. We’ll get the main characters, as long as they’re cute and/or fanserviceable. And while Icchan and Clow are The Awesome, and I think they’re hot, we have to add to the fact they’re not leads or love interests… that they’re NERDS. Nerds don’t get love in merchandise D: Only their ‘daughters’ will be featured, woe.
Oh well. Perhaps we’ll get to see figurines of minor old series. Anything from Duklyon or Shin Shunkaden would be so cool.

Yes, that would be lovely. But with a name like Clamp in 3D-Land, I’m expecting to see only characters from series published between 1995 and 2006, as in Clamp in Wonderland 2.
So you can expect a Suu & Kazhiko figure or even a Hinata & Asou one, but probably only those who will appeared in the video clip will have a figure.
But I want a Icchan & Chitose too. -_-

But I think that CLAMP in 3-D LAND project is a stand-alone project that has nothing to do with CLAMP IN WONDERLAND. After all we’ll be getting series until bloody 2008!
In fact, that doesn’t make much sense since Yasha is in the 2nd series and RG Veda (as far as we know) is out of CiW2 o.o

I KNOW ! XD I thought the same thing. In fact, the only other situation in which Yasha wore different clothes than the ones of RG Veda was to that CiW illustration with all the CLAMP Boys wearing suits ^^

BTW, a curious thing with the illustrations is that in both, we have got the same chair, with girls seated on it and boys standing up. With the exception in the first one. Sorry Sakura, but the chair is just for two people XDDD Also, the colors of their clothes represents each character. Therefore, maybe all the illustration will be like that. Same chair, same order. O.K. that’s too obvious XD

Yes ! I think that, after this second illustration, we can assume that this is gonna be the “motif” of all the packages illustrations ^^ I couldn’t be happier as I originally thought they would draw the characters in their Chibi format (to match the figurines ^^)

As for releasing in Artbooks, yeah, we’ll probably only see them if CLAMP ever release another artbook à la North and South side, which was dedicated to “CLAMP”, not any specific series.
What surprises me the most is that those figurines are not listed in CLAMP-NET’s DATABASE o.o
