Of course! What happenned in Celes? Did Fay had to do with all of it? Did he commit treason to his country and king and that’s why he is running away?
And his magic! The tatoo, the staff, the eye! What was the difference and the relation? Where did he got his magic from? Was he born with it? Did he study somewhere? (lol, thinking Hogwarts XD;) What was his real status in the Celes court? Was he the only magician? Or the only one left alive? Was he involved in some sort of political/ideological schism? Did he not use his magic only because he did not have the tatoo to control it? How powerful is he REALLY? Powerful enough to cause major chaos and destruction to a country? Or is it all some big confussion and he’s actually not culprit but he differed from his king’s ideals and opinions? Did he put Ashura-ou to sleep? Or was he poisoned or something by someone else?
@.@ And I’m sure those are not all the possible questions!

What IS Chii? How did she know how to find Fay? Is he just mentally-connected to her(it?)?
Is there anyone else alive in Celes?
Does Fay have a family? Did he have a happy childhood? An angsty one? Single parent? No parents? No parents + brother and/or sister?
Was he loved by someone EVER in his life? Was it Ashura-ou?
Did he ever love back?

thanks for the news! oh, my, that face, when syao looks at sakura after the battle, it was sooo sad! i think is the saddest expresion i remember in trc. poor real-syao. even when i want the clone to be happy and a real person with his own heart, i also want real-syao to be happy. the problem is that the sakura real-clone loves seems to be trc-sakura, and so at the end, one of them would end tragically dead. damm clamp! why do we have to choose?… ha, that was stupid, clamp is not going to let us choose. they already decided the end, so we should be prepared to loose one of the syaorans, probably.
But omg, the end was so exciting!! Ashura is going to pursue Fye? We will see Fye´s past at last? Cant wait to see!!! thanks for the post!

On the other side, even when i truly wish next chapter will center in Fye and Ashura, i believe that first will come the big fight against the Team MKR. who is going to sit in the main chair? Maybe Emeraude, but Misaki could also be the one. hehe, after all, she is used to rule fights from her chair.

And who Eagle is going to wake up? My bet is on MKR!Hikaru to back up the Eagle/Lantis/Geo team against our world travelling team. Plus, Hikaru is in the top 5 of characters japanese fan wished to see in Tsubasa (from the first guide book along with Subaru, Kamui, Lantis and Hokuto).

Well…I have thought about who she can be and I have got various conclusions.
1.- Were are in a world similar to Angelic Layer and the master need a strongest will. Also, we have crossovers of Miyuki-chan and Clover. So, She can be:
-Misaki
-Hikaru
-Miyuki
-Suu
If we think about the strongest will, we have:
-Misaki
-Hikaru
-Suu, why not?
2.- If you notice, for an unknow reason, always the master is a woman. That’s why we can say why Eagle said “wake up her, and not him”. Moreover, always the fighters are men. So, the teams can be:
-Misaki with…mmm I’m still thinking XDDD
-Hikaru. It can be a theory. She, Eagle, Lantis and Geo. That’s why Eagle can say “Geo, I know that you hate fight, but you need to do it. So, don’t get mad” XDDD And this can be the reason of hide all to him.
-Suu. Easy to think: Kazuhiko, Lan and Gingetsu. In this way, CLOVER fans can be happy. Because until now, we haven’t get a lot of CLOVER crossovers.
But who knows, with CLAMP all can happen XDDD

Many are thinking in Hikaru, but they have forgotten an important woman in CLAMP’s world. Who? obviously. All have forgotten the fact of the Sumeragi twins. So, If Subaru was sleeping in Tokyo. Why not? Hokuto is sleeping in infinity.
As I said this is the last possibility I have got. Because we only have these series left (having on mind just REALLY important women):
Wish: Konaku, I don’t think so.
20 mensou: Utako, she has the less possibilities to appear.
Shirahime: Nahhh, even less than Utako.
Suki Dakara Suki: Hinata, another naaaah.
Watashi ni Sukinahito: Come on! it’s a joke to think on it. XDD
MKR: Umi or Fuu. Maybe Umi in the place of Hikaru. Fuu…well she wasn’t made to fight.

Hey, I´m from Brazil and I´ve been accompanying the tsubasa scans on another site, cause I can´t access the room of requirement like all people of south america apparently, but the comments, news and icons from this blog are the best! Thanks a lot for providing all this information, I think your site is the only one I can access that is so complete about CLAMP.
oh, please don´t worry about the room of requirement thing, the other site translates the scans in english so is better for me. =]
I wanted to comment about this chapter too, lately I thought tsubasa was kinda boring, my love for clamp started to weaken since they made X go in a way that disappointed me. But they still can come up with such charismatic characters, like Fye, Ashura-ou and Kuro-daddy! x3 and CLAMP´s been making their charas less idealized and unexpressive, like putting the alcohol thing in the plots, and the sex thing with Chii(though the way Chobits ended screamed “CHURCH!” to me, disappointed me too), so I gave tsubasa and XXXHolic a chance and I´m liking them much more than I expected, though some moments still make me go like “okay let´s skip this”…no offense to those who fully love it, of course.
anyway, I think Hikaru could be that ‘her’ too…in MKR she got so admired by eagle and helped him a lot, though I really don´t get how he could like the girl that stole his guy so much…the clamp things I don´t get. and, I didn´t expect *THE* moment would be like NOW, I thought there´d be lotsa stuff happening in infinity before ashura-ou woke up…
and now a fight between the king and kuro-wanwan for fye would be nice…or at least some jealously…I think clamp would be so much greater, with their plots and charas and misteries, if they developed the relationships better and were more…daring and real. but there´s the audience thing, I mean I read BERSERK! when I was younger I thought clamp was perfect. please don´t mind my critics if you disagree, I thought maybe I´d find a clamp fan like me, who started fanatic and got disappointed with some things…

you´re right about X! if I were a manga-ka and were prohibited to publish my story the way I want, I´d do the same thing clamp did! what disappointed me were some plot flaws, in my opinion…but of course I´m gonna jump on the X news when they come up, like an old fan! =D
what I loved in XXXHolic was some aspects that remind me of my religion, spiritism, and the physic theory of chaos. I never expected clamp would be capable of that! and the more real relationship between fye and kurowan(without the usual clamp “no sex, but violence is okay” thing, which makes me think of capitalism, hipocrisy, wars and stuff—yeah I think too much!) surprised me too. I love the way kurochi analises fye. =]

they made you change your opinion about many subjects? how interesting! I´m glad, cause what most attracted me to XXXHolic were those aspects…and I get the impression CLAMP doesn´t waste so much time with action scenes and secundary charas in this manga. maybe the audience is a bit different from the one of Tsubasa, though the works are linked…oh, don´t worry bout the X plot thing, I just wanted to repeat that, you didn´t get me wrong before, I guess…xD I think the things that disappointed me in X are being fixed by CLAMP in XXXHolic and Tsubasa. there are many references to X in them, and sometimes Yuuko speaks as if she wanted to explain some X facts better. I hope this will reflect in X´s outcome. =3

lol… we can expect something more than the syaorans. i mean look at CLAMP’s other works. im not surprised if there are more.
CLAMP is so full of surprises. i dont like surprises in real life actually, but in series and movies, i like em! ^_^

First, about the “her”… Sure I’d like Hikaru, but it would be strange if Umi and Fuu were not with her. I think they could be the chesspieces, and the mysterious “her” their master.
But above all… Am I the only one puzzled by the name of the country Fye came from? I mean, Celes is the name of the Dragon from MKR, there must be a reason. Maybe the Magic Knights will appear in Celes instead of Infinity.
And finally, Ashura-Ô. Now that’s a cliffhanger ! But I really can’t see him as someone bad… In the second Character GuideBook, there’s a storyboard Mokona made for the second anime opening, and we see Ashura with a young Fye ! The only way Ashura-Ô could be bad might be related to the fact he was originally a God of War, so maybe in TRC he turned into the true Ashura, as his son did at the end of RG Veda.

I think the ashura thing could be more related to Fye, and Ashura-ou would be the nice guy trying to hold his destruction impulses. you see the way Fye avoids using his powers, and how immense they are, and that scene of his sad past, locked somewhere in the snow. maybe Ashura-ou tried to turn him into a pacific person and lost his kingdom?
