Mokona is back again ! She was busy working on the production of her Kimono book (which has already finished), that’s why she was absent for the last two episodes, but this time all 4 members are there.
A new corner was introduced in this episode:
“Life Report”, that informs the recent situation of CLAMP, among the topics, they discussed the very very cold winter they are currently having and Mokona’s cocktail training. Lately she’s been making a lot of cocktails (because of that, Satsuki gave to her a cocktail book for Christmas ^^) and she even posts their recipes (along with a picture) in her Private Board. The other members already tasted some, and they approved it ^^ Mokona is such a talented woman, maybe we are gonna have a “CLAMP Mokona no Ococktailcocktail” book in the near future? XD
Then the girls read some more e-mail from the listeners. I couldn’t get most of it but apparently it got something to do with cellphones O.o

Is there something Mokona CAN’T do? That’s what she should be asked in their next interview. Even if her reply could be from something really vague (“oh, lots of things! *g*”) to something silly (“yeah, I can’t roll up my tongue and I failed in PE once in high school”)

And here’s the recipe for the one you mentioned (since you know japanese, it won’t be a problem for you to understand how to make it ^^)
カステイラ (this is the name).
作り方 《 シェーク 》
材料
アドヴォカート 30 ml
牛乳 45 ml
蜂蜜 1 tsp
グラス：カクテルグラス
ホットでやるなら ステア で、冷たい場合はシェイクが良いと思います。
と、書いてあったんで、冷たくしてみました。
シェーカーに入れてシェイクシェイク！
グラスはタンブラーにしてみました。
ほ・・・・ほんとにカステラ味だ！！
ちょ！！すごいよ！
You were quite right in thinking that it was an egg-based drink. But that yellow-ish texture comes from this ingredient called “アドヴォカート”, which I don’t know what it is but I searched in Google Images and I found out it’s a drink O.o

Ooh, thank you, that’s great! It’s called Casteilla because it’s supposed to taste like castilla/kasutera/sponge cake. The drink needed is called Advocardo/Advocado (which sounds like avocado but it seems it’s something different) and you can do it both hot and cold. Hmm. Basically this one seems like eggnogg without the brandy. 😀
(Bet this was more you ever wanted to know about drink mixing. XD)

Well, that would be interesting to try too! :DDD But I just looked it up and it’s a dutch egg liqueor called AdvoCAAT (doh!), they even sell it where I live. The things you learn from CLAMP. XDD

I’m an X fan but I hate those torture horror movies. I’m so hypocritical… and as well as being a hugely talented artist Mokona can also whip up a cocktail! If only I were old enough to drink ^_^

I don’t like the movies that are gore just because they are. There’s a whole concept behind Saw and that’s what makes me like it so much ^^ But it’s okay not liking torture movies because some scenes are really unbearable to watch >.

I can cope with animated gore, but not movie gore. I once read the synopsis to Hostel on Wikipedia moments before I had omelette for tea. Not a good move XD Still, I’ve heard that Saw is a clever film in terms of plot, so I guess the gore’s OK ^_^
