As I said, not much news at this time of the year, in fact, we even got 2 chapter cancellations.
– Next chapters scheduled (red means new):
11/29 – Shonen Magazine #52 – No Tsubasa scheduled (on sale).
12/06 – Shonen Magazine #1 – Chapter 137.
12/13 – Shonen Magazine #2 & #3 – No Tsubasa scheduled (CLAMP changed that, chapter 138 was supposed to come out here).
12/27 – Shonen Magazine #4 & #5 – Chapter 138.

I checked Kodansha’s list of books scheduled for January and Tsubasa is not there. So we’ll only get volume 18 in February or March.

CLAMP New Year’s Party ~ Four citizens of Special New Year’s food fortress~
If you were planning to go to see CLAMP on their New Year’s event but still haven’t got your ticket, I’m sorry to say it but it’s too late, you can’t go anymore because the tickets are all sold out. Pity, isn’t it? Yeah, and I was really planning to go
I know they must have ran out of tickets only a few hours after being available for purchase in the first place, because I checked Yahoo Auctions on Monday (just 1 day after the sale date) and I already saw people auctioning their tickets for 10.000 yens !!! (The original price was 1.900 yens). Who would buy tickets with such an expensive price when you could get one for a much cheaper price? So I thought “Must have ran out”.
You can still apply for it if you want, it’s currently at 16.500 yens ^^;;;; Anyone?
At least I hope the CLAMP-PLA.NET staff will cover the event.
CLAMP on The New York Times
Back in July when CLAMP attended to Anime Expo they were interviewed by The New York Times. I thought I had missed it or it was only published on paper or even that the interview was dis-considered. But nearly 5 months later, the article finally shows up !
You can read the article, with some quotations of Ohkawa, here.
The article itself is not really revealing and it’s more aimed for those who never heard of CLAMP rather than fans, but it’s still worth checking because it is very well-written, the author really got my respect for exploring one of the points I admire the most about CLAMP: their diversity.
Besides, it’s the most famous newspaper in the whole world, and CLAMP got an article on it (even if it’s only in their website, as far as I know). Congratulations to them ! ^__^

Code Geass:
On my previous CLAMP NEWS !! post I mentioned that CLAMP would draw the Box that will hold all 9 Code Geass DVDs. Apart from that, it has been announced that CLAMP will draw a 4-frames comic that will come with the DVDs #4 (out on April 25th) and #7 (out on July 27th), one for each volume.
4-frames comic? I’ll be expecting one of those comedy short strips ^^”

No, they’ve been living in Tokyo ever since they debuted as professional mangakas ^_^
I think both stories are pretty cool right now, I’m really curious to see what’s gonna happen with that new customer ^^ But of course, TRC is very interesting too.

That, as a hint to CLAMP, that they should travel around the world satisfying the wants of their fans (haha). I envy the fact that they draw so well, but that just spurs me on. *sigh* f

So they just moved the Tsubasa and Holic chapters around and next Tsubasa tankoubon will be for February … -_-
They will do yonkoma comics for code Geass, I wonder how many for each DVD … maybe only one. I’m looking fowards to it and to the DVD box. ^_^

I would be hopelessly wishing for xxxHOLiC though, I’ve recently been so attracted to xxxHOLiC, but in my heart, I deeply wish for a good Tsubasa chapter. (After Kamui!ness goodies in Tsubasa fell D:)

But everyone deserve to have a freedom from the demon called ‘deadline’ so I suppose, I can’t really blame them either… Hopefully they won’t put many empty schedule for the next year… I suspect maybe they knew that my mark had been decreasing so they delay it to make me study… ^^

THANK YOU, thank you ! I thought these posts were needing some organization XDDDDDD I hope it’ll make the reading easier. I’m very into that font type and colors at the moment (you’ll know what I mean once I show you my CLAMP media I did for my university project ^^)
About Code Geass, I’m not watching it… I don’t have tiiiime .____. But it didn’t catch my attention that much, also (otherwise I would HAVE to find some time to watch it no matter what ^^)
