It was in the RoR, along with TRC and XXXHOLiC’s new ones too, since Thursday, but something called end-of-semester got me really busy for the past days, and it will still make me busy for this next week.
I know I’m late for the chapter comments I always do (I’ll try to merge them with this week’s one), and I also have a couple of posts waiting to be posted, so please forgive all my recent absent-ness, it’ll be over in 2 weeks ^^”
But on the other hand, who needs university projects when you have Kobato. to edit, right? XD I left them aside for a while and edited it for CnL, because it has bigger priority xDDDDDDDD
Anyway, you can download it already on CLAMP No Lumiere. I tried to deliver it yesterday (I got the translations from Jamie-san on Friday afternoon). Sorry if you waited too long for it =\

A few comments because there’s not much development in the chapter itself.
The 14-pages are really worrying me… it seems like that’s pretty much the number we’re gonna have per month (I hope I’m wrong). Which means it’ll be very painful to follow Kobato. in that pace.
Good thing we could see Fujimoto, in one of his many part-time jobs ! ^^ And it’s just a matter of time for us to see Sayaka as well. BUT WHERE’S CHITOSE, HUH?
I was hoping she would at least got her bottle in this chapter, but nope. At least she scored 40 points this time ^^”
As I was reading the translations, I got the feeling that Kobato sounds EVEN STUPIDER than she was in the “(Temporary)” series xDDD I don’t know if it’s just me…

I’m a bit disappointed with the new character design, I prefer the old one. =_= But at least this “Kobato” looks like a prequel to the story we already know, so I think we can stop worrying about having a completely new story.

It does look like it’s a prequel. Maybe Kobato and Fujimoto will meet for real at the park, like in “Temporary”?

I sort of like both versions the same. She is sort of dumber in the new version but I don’t really mind for some reason.
I’m so glad Alison, Jamie and You, Chibiyuuto and evereyone else were kind enough to be involved in this project and able to bring Kobato to the general public.

Indeed… somebody above (^) mentioned that maybe this chapter is also part of a prequel. And I think it could be o.o
But they had to start it over again since there were no tanks published.

Well the Tsubasa gang is finally moving on but what’s Yuuko doing at the end of the chapter? She took off all the decoration she was wearing and she opens these big doors. Hmmm…Gah! Can’t read Japanese! X3 Darn it!

I think you said it all… maybe CLAMP are showing how completely clueless she was at the beginning of her job. I think she’ll be slightly better as the story develops (but of course, that’s how the character of Kobato is. She’ll never become like those intelectual chara xDDDD)
