– The cover of XXXHOLiC’s official guide has finally been announced !
Yuuko and Watanuki wearing pretty flower-patterned clothes ^__^
The book will be released on the next November 17th, costing 1000 yens.
DVD:
– The covers for vol. 5 and for the second special BOX (to hold vols. 5 to 8), drawn by CLAMP, have also been announced:
The BOX looks fabulous just as expected (you can tell that even if the image is very small XD). It basically follows the same scheme of the 1st one. Yuuko on a side, Mokona in the middle and Watanuki (possibly) on the other side.
You get the BOX as a privilege if you buy the first run of DVD Volume 5, out on the next November 22nd.

The set with the trading cards for which CLAMP drew illustrations to is already on sale on Japan, and here are some good pictures of the featured illustrations:

CLAMP New Year’s Party ~ Four citizens of Special New Year’s food fortress:
New events ! Just when I thought they were starting to lack ^__^
So, this is a special talk with CLAMP that is gonna happen on January 7th, 2007, in a talk live house located at Shinjuku called LOFT/PLUS ONE. It’s a very famous house with performances and events happening daily.
For those who are fortunate enough, tickets will start to be sold on November 26th, and you can buy them through website Lawson Ticket.
CLAMP in 3-D LAND Sale Commemoration Event (Temporary):
Another very promising event that has been announced in the commemoration event dedicated to the CLAMP in 3-D LAND series of figurines. Promising because in that event will happen the first screening of the CLAMP In WONDERLAND 2 music video !
The event will happen on March 18th, 2007, on TOKYO FM HALL, in Tokyo. Check out the site if you could, the hall is very pretty and it’s located near Tokyo Tower (there’s no better scenario for a CLAMP event ^___^).
CLAMP will be there, of course, and it’s said that the screening of CiW2 will be an early one. This is probably not gonna be the only time it’ll be shown. Most likely other events, more CLAMP In WONDERLAND-centered, will be held during the Spring, as well as the release of a DVD version of it.
Well, my guess was April for CiW2, so I got pretty close ^__^
In order to attend the event, people will have to send an application form that comes with the special Package of the 1st Series of CLAMP 3D-LAND (And from what I could get, it’s limited for 500 people). And speaking of which, fiery_uchiwa-san e-mailed me with a bigger (not much, but still something ^^) version of the package in question:
I’m very surprised (I shouldn’t be, really XD) how the still manage to do CCS!Syaoran SO different than TRC!Syaoran ^^

CLAMP In WONDERLAND 2:
ozaka_tomoe-san kindly scanned the article in CLAMP Newtype PASTEL in 300 dpi resolution, which is enough to make you see EVERY LITTLE DETAIL of it.
It’s AMAZING, (speaking about the sketches) the style is so faithful to CLAMP’s, and thus, so pretty ! I hope it stays close to sketches. Do that and I’ll love it *-*
If you were happy with the pictures, you will love even more this one ^__^

You know the package illustration I posted with Kazahaya, Yuuko and co.? So, that is the package that will come with 10 figurines ^^ It’s either that or individual packs each one containing just one figurine.

Hmm, when they that TRC 137 will feature the cover, do they mean Volume 17? They haven’t announced the cover of Volume 18 yet, so almost certainly. Hmm, it will probably be the regular edition cover rather than the special edition cover. Damn. Fuuma > Syaoaran any day. (Though it would be cool if it were the cover of Volume 18.)
Those cards are really gorgeous. ^^ And I can’t wait for the new CLAMP in Wonderland.

Definitely agree xD Even I, who am not very fond of anime images, can tell that XXXHOLiC’s ones are way prettier.

Arigato! The images look great! i hope that clamp in wonderland will arrive soon! And you are right, they sure manage to draw ccssyao different, but i think is basically because he was not a kind boy as trcsyao. In ccs, syao was a really tough kid, with not so much delicacy.

Hmmm, the Clamp in Wonderland sketches… Doesn’t it look like Syaoran and Sakura are wearing the same outfits they are in the character guide storyboard? The character guide storyboard + the CiW sketches both seems to be based off this picture, so maybe they are going to incorporate that storyboard into CiW… which would be awesome because that storyboard looked really cool.
Plus, they are riding on some dragon thing like they were in that storyboard… ohoho.

Yes indeed ^__^ You figured it out correctly. It is really the same outfit. Seems like Mokona really enjoyed that image. I loved that too (I remember the first time I saw it I was *-*), so I’m very happy that it was chosen for the video (much better than, say, their “regular” Clow outfits that we are TIRED to see).

Oh noes ! I messed the chapters up XDDD I copied the list from my last “CLAMP NEWS” post, and only updated the new chapters. However, remember how CLAMP suddenly changed the schedule for TRC? We were supposed to get it this week. And I, stupid as I am XD, forgot to make the correct adaptations.

I seeing that lately Gohou Drug characters (specially Kazahaya) are appearing a lot in the new pics and illustrations. I guess it must be a good omen for Lawful Drug, maybe we’ll see the continuation soon.

So far the 3rd season hasn’t been announced yet. I heard rumors that there won’t be a 3rd season at all, but they are still only rumors. We’ll only find out, I think, this next saturday ^^

What surprised me about CCS|Syaoran’s pic is that Clamp draw him in a way he would look like his Tv anime version self; the CCS|Syao version manga was not really like that…Furthermore, they gave him the look he HAD in the very first chapters…this pic does not show his true self I think ^^;; but I’m still terribly happy since there haven’t been any pic of him drawn by Clamp since the end of CCS manga years ago ^___^
