Just as I expected, Mokona didn’t sense the feather as well, not only the clone. Fuuma’s gang did *something* to it, go figure what, and thus Mokona couldn’t sense it. I wonder why then it didn’t lose it’s powers… maybe it’s the container? But I don’t think so…
So 3 feathers in this country ! Just as we all thought too, the Tower had one feather as well, that’s why it didn’t collapse. But it’s such a shame to know that it’ll collapse now (so pretty ;_;) [stupid joke]Well, Tokyo Tower is MUCH harder to draw compared to the Metropolitan Building, that’s why CLAMP picked the latter one to be the headquarter of Kamui’s gang ^_~[/stupid joke]
I simply love the fact that Mokona became Kamui’s new companion XDDDD It’s amazing how they look so well together XD They were together during the whole chapter ! And I think it means that Kamui’s on Syaoran’s side now ^__^ Little by little he’ll come back, our Kamui.
The S+S moments were very touching u.u And I’m sorry for those who don’t believe he’s CCS!Syaoran, I totally understand why you don’t and I respect it ^^, but to me, that scene was screaming “CCS!Syaoran !!!” XDDDD I don’t know, it just looked a lot like him. Call me stupid if you want and I won’t blame you (I mean, they look the SAME XD), but I think it “felt” a lot like Li Syaoran.
Sakura, too, felt a lot like CCS!Sakura in this chapter to me. I mean, she figured it out that if Mokona didn’t sense the feather then it wasn’t “meant to be”, and that’s something our CCS!Sakura would figure it out, I think XD Not to mention she showed a lot of compassion for the people of the country instead of being selfish (even though she seemed a little reluctant about this decision).
But they are probably going to get it back somehow (or maybe not O.o).
Karen/Kazuki interaction !!! ^_________^ and he blushed !!!! How cute !!! Same souls, of course ^^
So the water Watanuki was collecting really was destined for those people, it’s so cool to see where it came from ^_^ But WTH, the water multiplied itself ! O.O I thought this would happen indeed but I really wanna know why. Probably we’ll get an explanation in the next chapter.
Now that we’re free of the clone, Fye is safe and nobody is losing any blood, we’ll finally be able to breathe for a while (or maybe not? XD) and enjoy some nice interaction between the X and the TRC charas, now that they’ll all live together in the same place (unless they leave the world, of course, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen so soon ^__^).
Next week Tsubasa will take a break, but on the other hand, we shall find out what happened to Watanuki *-*

Agreed, agreed, agreed! It was quite clear, IMHO, that both of them were thinking of their respective Sakura and Syaoran at the moment. CLAMP wouldn’t emphasize real!Syaoran’s feelings like this if *his Sakura* wasn’t important – which makes me think that it’s CCS and not some random other one. 🙂

So I’ve been wondering… has all of clone Syaoran transferred back over to real Syaoran, therefore he’s basically the same person in a different body, or is there something in clone Syaoran still that they have to go after? (I mean besides Fay’s eye) Like the part that loves Sakura is still in the clone’s body, because this one doesn’t seem to have the same feelings for her (or like you said, is thinking about another Sakura). Also I’m relatively new to watching your journal, so I’d like to hear your theory that real Syaoran = CCS Syaoran… I’ve thought it a few times, but I don’t see how it would be logistically possible. If you don’t want to reply that’s ok, I’m just throwing thoughts out there.

IN THEORY, there’s nothing else left in his body. He was designed to gather the feathers and that’s it. I suppose he was “heartless” too (in the figurative way, I mean, emotion-less), so real!Syaoran gave half of his heart to him, HOPING that, as he would be living with Sakura, he would make his own heart to be born.
The clone left as if none of the moments he shared with Sakura meant anything at all. But there’s always hope, isn’t it? ^^
Sakura and the other ones will now try to make the clone get back to what he was before, basing on the fact that he must have his own heart, but that’s my own opinion.
My opinion that the real Syaoran is CCS!Syaoran is purely based on the hints that we saw in the manga like:
– He’s directly related to Clow – and so far, the only Clow mentioned in the story was the CCS!Clow.
– The way he fights, his sword – even though there’s a little controversy in this one because we’ve seen characters like Ryuuou, for example, having the same sword even though he isn’t RG Veda!Ryuuou.
– His magic symbol.
– My own intuition XDDDD
But I know there are MANY questions and plotholes, and here I’ll be trusting Ohkawa to answer all the questions and fill any possible plotholes. I just don’t think it’s so impossible. Their water can multiplies itself, why can’t CCS!Syaoran be in TRC? XD

I loved that Sakura was willing to sacrifice that feather. It felt like a CCS thing of her to do, even if in that world/series she’d never have to make a decision like that. (In CCS, Sakura will always win. Always. It’s the nature of its fluffiness XD.)

*agrees* It would certainly give the series a new layer– things can’t always turn out perfectly right. Though if the way that Fye can still be cured is any indication, perhaps Sakura will find a way to get back all her memories (including those with Syaoran).

I’ve never been a rabid S+S fan (not that they’re not cute, but I save rabidness for Kuro/Tomo xD) but the interaction between CCS(?)!Syaoran and Sakura was so sad. That page where they just looked at each other so sadly, and then turned away, was heartbreaking, moreso for me than when TRC!Syaoran actually left… Sakura was particularly tragic this chapter, too, poor Sakura. lol, it *is* nice to see her doing something, for once ^^; I wonder how much hope she’s lost, now that TRC!Syaoran went all crazy and left. She seemed sort of like “f— it, he’s gone” when she gave away the feather ^^; maybe that’s just me, though~
Yay, it’s really cool seeing *all* the X characters interacting with each other outside of the X storyline, it’s interesting to get to see how they might have been if they hadn’t been “fated” enemies. I wanna see Kanoe, though T_T

If you felt that way, and you’re not even a rabid S+S fan, you can imagine how the real lovers of this pairing were feeling ^^” It was so interesting to see it ! Because they are, but they aren’t, at the same time, meant to be ! ^^
I think now Sakura will decide more over things, I wanna see her playing important parts too, kicking ass, really XD That’s what I hope for anyway, I think it’s the more aproppriated time. I think she’s the kind of character that gets strong instead of getting angst when hard times come.

About the part of the what Fuuma did to the feather, I will share to you on what I post on “The Nyanko Chronicles”:

Aw, share the glomps on Kamui and Mokona. It kind of reminds me of how Kamui was so sweet and nice to his companions on “X” (I just read the whole manga in 3 days: great manga!). Also, another kawaii moment of Kazuki and Karen sharing togetherness and kindness. Kazuki is so kawaii!!! ^o^
Another true rabu-rabu moment for Syaoran and Sakura. Fangirl “Squee” Alert Level: Red!) That scene was so lovely reminding of Cardcaptor Sakura: Master of the Clow, Volume 6 when Li Syaoran announced to Sakura Kinomoto that he was going to return to Hong Kong.

About the water containers, I will probably make two assumptions:
1. Maybe the water from the well had some kind of incredible power.
2. The containers are specialized with some kind of Yuuko’s magic.
Last week: The return of Fuuma’s gang with the 3rd feather.
This week: The glomps of Mokona/Kamui, the interaction of Kazuki/Karen, and the rabu-rabu moment of Syaoran/Sakura.
Next two weeks: Seishirou!!!
So sad that I had to wait for two weeks for Tsubasa 128, but I’m ready for the big cliffhanger outcome for HOLiC! Watanuki, for the love of God: live!!! (Maybe I should put a Bat-Bogey Hex on Himawari.)

Loved the Kazuki/Karen interaction, was one of my favorite parts of the chapter (even if it was one frame). Wonder how she’ll deal with Nataku? How Nataku even exists is beyond me.
Kamui is officially Mokona’s new perch, and he doesn’t mind it! Not one “shoo! shoo! Get off of me!” I think if Mokona jumps on Subaru we’ll die of cute. XD
I’ve been wondering if when either group leaves this world, they’ll pull the other group along with them. When Seishirou left he caused Mokona to change worlds (the power source is the same), so if Mokona is on Kamui…might drag them along for the ride. 😀

Considering the whole Kamui/Subaru/Seishirou subplot hasn’t been concluded, there’s a good chance they’ll come along. What’s the likelihood of all three groups running into each other again?

I think that staying in Tokyo was a pretty mature decision on Sakura’s part. Mokona seems to be a lot more talkative, too, now that Syaoran’s gone.

I wonder, now that Syaoran’s gone who’s gonna be the group’s leader? Is the new Syaoran just gonna take the place of the old one or will Kurogane make the decisions from now (I don’t think Fay’s up to leading)? I hope Sakura becomes the new leader. She should’ve been toughtened up with the Syaoran-thing, make her more like the Sakura in CCS. Make her kick some ass! Besides, Sakura bossing around three guys sounds fun ^-^

Yeah, it’s either up to Syaoran or Kurogane… but I think it would be unfair to make Syaoran “replace” the clone!Syaoran’s place as the leader. I think it would be interesting if Sakura became the leader (alongside with Syaoran, why not? ^^), I think it’d give a new look to the team !

Well, you can imagine how sad and depress i feel since yesterday. this chapter was the most terrible for me, since sakura seems to give up about clone-syao, and i just cant stand the way real-syao and her were looking to each other. makes me cry. but i want to believe that there´s a little hope about clone-syao, i´m sure he has feelings about sakura by himself, not because real-syao´s heart(Hey, chibiyuuto, you think the same way i do, dont you?)
Ah,kamui is becoming so sweet! i´m so glad to see him that way, and i hope he and subaru will stay with trc team for a long time.
Ooooh, and that gorgeous page with fye!! I want to see him fine again! i want him to wake up!
Fuuma is really different from x. He seems so cheerfull, and in x he was too serious. i prefer the new fuuma, he looks more sexy now.
I REALLY need explanations in the next chapter. i´m with the people who thinks real-syao is ccs syao, but i think that´s only one of my worries now. i think is time for yuuko to explain about Fei,or maybe some fye flashbacks (i like to know about his past) I dont think the twins will explain about their past, but maybe sei will appear soon (not next chapter, i hope)
Well, now to wait. And about watanuki, i´m sure he will be ok. but still, i´m really anxious.

Did you get it this way? O.o I don’t think so. I think she was just overwhelmingly lost and completely sad with what happened. But I don’t think she’ll take such a radical decision of giving up on him, specially because she doesn’t even know what really happened. She woke up and he had already changed, and it was minutes before she realized that he is her most important person, I don’t think she’ll give up on him that easily.

Oh, then it’s okay ^__^ I want to believe it too and I think that’s the key to everything. I don’t believe that CCS!Syaoran’s attempt to grow a heart on the clone was completely in vain.

Finally it’s out! It’s an ok chap. with nothing big going on. I was disappointed to not see a match between Fuuma and Kamui. I was so expecting a huge fight but Clamp is so evil to not give us one. U.U After all, fighting each other has been a trademark for them. It’s weird to not see a conflict of sorts in trc.
Once again, the things that makes me squee is Mokona and Kamui, and Karen and Kazuki. They are so cute together!! S+S is definately the highlight of the chap. There’s nothing more bittersweet than to see that whole page where they stare sadly at each other; added with some kind of acceptance in Sakura’s part.
I never really like trc’s version of Sakura since she spend most of the time sleeping and being protected, all the while doing nothing much to help out. But this chap. makes me like her more. Her self-sacrificing is touching and makes me proud at the same time. This is definately the Sakura I know so well in CCS. Thinking about the others first before her.
But then, isn’t it their motive to collect ALL the feathers so that Sakura doesn’t die, and not just to collect her memories? The feathers are, after all, her heart. One can’t live with one part of their heart missing. But maybe I’m reading too deep into things or I got my facts wrong.
I may be too late to say this but Fuuma looks HOT in his outfit. I never paid much attention to him in the previous chaps. but now that he appeared for almost the entire chap., I can’t help but notice his outfit. >.< Dang! He has to look HOT in everything he wears, expecially in X. I must say that the Tower people has more cooler outfits than Kamui's group. Not that it's a bad thing. XD

I don’t think Sakura will DIE if they don’t get ALL of the feathers O.o I think she would certainly die if she stayed without ANY of them for too much time, like when Yuuko said. I always thought that now she can even “give up” on searching them and she shall continue to live, but yeah, she’ll remain a little “empty” because she won’t have her fully personality. I don’t know if you know what I mean XDDD

The SS moment was really great and I’ve been believing for a while that Real Syao was the CCS one ^_^
As for Sakura’s decision to leave the feather behind…was it really good? Fei Wong want her power, whatever it is, for which he NEEDS her to take back ALL the feathers she lost. It was very kind of her to show so much compassion to the people of this world but…if afterward, one of Fei Wong’s subordinates go there and kill everyone to take back the feather it’s really no good, since 1-absolutely nothing garanty that the container they put the feather in will work endlessly and 2-Fei Wong might think of an ultimate method to find the feather, who knows? ^^;;
And something eeeelssse…I yeah! I remember! I think I’m going to be murdered by the CCS fans (please note I’M a CCS fan ^^;;) for saying this but…having Sakura takes the leading part is not something I wish for : she’s got a WHOLE serie all for HERSELF, and I’m not exagerating! If you look at the Artbooks or the Trading Cards (I have a bunch at home) she’s really EVERYWHERE! In the anime artbook, there’s NO picture in color with Syaoran alone that I know of, in the manga artbook there’re 3 out of hundreads (and 2 of the 3 are the insert cover of the manga cover…) + in the anime same thing!! And now she’s gonna take over TRC too? I’m not saying that she should stay sleeping, it’s really enerving if you ask me, but I hope Clamp will makes it clear that the other characters are important too. Sakura have already an immense part in TRC : the whole quest is for her sake! + Sakura memories of the past when she takes back a feather + the whole piffle world was going around her with Tomoyo and her winning the competition + in Jade country when she went after the ghost of the princess + if Syao was cloned, it’s hightly probable that it was because of her too since Fei Wing wanted her power. No more Sakura! T____T

YES!! Finally someone that agree with me about sakura!! When i finish reading ccs i was relly sick of all her protagonism. the other characters were mere companions, even eriol. the only one who always did something important was her. She has an entire serie for her and nodoby else!! I think is really enough. No more sakura!! i´m with you, cutesherry!…uho… i think i´m going to be called an even more-fanatic fan of syaoran, now… but is not only that i want syaoran to the main character, is that the others, like Fye and kurogane, has their own stories, and they can be helpfull not been there only to watch, like the other characters in ccs.
And about her leaving the feather, i also agree; that´s why i think is time for yuuko to explain what´s the problem with Fei, what´s what he really want?

Ah!Thanks God! Someone actually think the same as me! I mean : even when she’s sleeping she is everywhere!! When she is not here, Syaoran thinks about her or talk about her, or Sakura has to be saved or we wonder “when is she going to wake up?”….there’s no end to her presence in the manga T__T
I know I’m pretty subjective since I’m huge fan of Syaoran but hey! Each one should have his time of glory!! There can be as much SS moment as they want (I LOVE SS moments ^_^), but Sakura being the heroine and taking all the attention AGAIN? I’m totally against it!

You do got a point in there. Maybe that’s what’s gonna happen indeed O.o We all know the clone will not rest until he’s got them all….

Xin Huo actually helped real Syao flee and sacrified her life for it saying “if the dream does not end..” or something like that; and Yuuko too talked about this “dream” that have to come to an end…

I’m not 100% sure of it (and I think no one is XDD) but I’m assuming it’s Fei Wang’s dream… I think by dream they are meaning his “wish”, but it’s just a guess ^^

You know, the one thing that I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention…
So, Sakura gives up one feather. What’re the odds that that feather is her memories of Clone!Syaoran? The price, after all, was that she’d never retrieve THAT particular feather, not that Yuuko would receive the feather in exchange for Mokona.
It’s kinda poetic, actually, if you think about it. To give up the feather that contains her memories of clone!Syaoran in the very world where he lost “his” soul and left her.

Interesting but…no good ^^;;
If you remember, Sakura had severals “flashback” in the manga and the anime, and most of them included Clone|Syaoran but…he was “erased” from those memories. For exmaple she saw herself talking cheerfully with…no one, this “no one” being Syao but she couldn’t see him since she gave up her memories of him as payment to Yuuko. It’s not : one feather with Syao, one feather with Touya and another feather with Yuki…it doesn’t work like that ^^;;

quando sakura foi lançada em nossas terras tupiniquins, se tornou o manga da CLAMP que eu mais gosto (talvez de todos os mangas). mas devagarinho, tsubasa está começando a roubar essa posição de ccs… impressionante como o “reaproveitamento” de personagens dá certo, e gera coisa legais ou tão mais legais que o original.
fiquei muito triste com esse lance de o clone!syaoran simplesmente esquecer de tudo e passar facilzinho pro lado de seu “mestre”. e tb acho q o syaoran real tem muito pra ser o de ccs… mas ele estaria mais velho, não…? será q tsubasa se passaria num futuro de ccs? será q a ccs!sakura tb vai dar as caras? seria legal se ela tb tivesse saltando de dimensões procurando por seu syaoran… q romântico…
pena q não teremos nada essas semanas de tsubasa… não tenho acompanhado os scans de xxxholic… vou esperar lançar as versões brasileiras ^_^

About TRC it seems they´re going to leave X world soon, we have to wait if with the water Watanuki retreived they´ll have a good end. This world represented changes for everyone: for Sakura (will she stand up for herself?) the dynamic between Fai and Kurogane as well (we just have to wait for Fai to awake), Syaoran has to make his own spot on the team, and let´s hope that Subaru and Kamui travel with them (Mokona needs this new perch!! and he is so hot ::blushes::). Now they got a lot of people to meet in the journey: Clone!Syaoran, Sei-chan, and maybe Fai’s Ashura.
Let´s wait and see (man, I always say that) and hope later episodes on a row (as someone said in the schedule post) doesn´t mean a future hiatus: don´t forget there’s gonna be Kobato’s release and it´s gonna suck if they interrupt Tsubasa and Holic for Kobato (although I liked it).
I´m a recent CLAMP Fan, how many mangas they usually release at the same time?

Oh, don’t worry about it ! CLAMP NEVER put a manga in hiatus because they were too busy working on another project (all the problems they had with “hiatus” were due to publishing issues). They usually work with 3 or even 4 works at the same time. There was a time when they were working with CCS, X, CLOVER and Wish.

Normally, I would just wait until either my computer or yours fixes itself. But this time, I had to say something, since I noticed it said the older files will be taken off this week, and I haven’t finished downloading them yet. … so, … uhm, yeah, … I don’t know.
