So Fye’s body is changing and thus, it hurts. Some people mentioned that to me and they were right ! I love the scenes when it shows Fye in pain. I mean, poor guy, of course XD But what I meant is that they are really well-done, they look so vivid and you can really feel his pain.
Syaoran said “Aa”. I never read the japanese version of CCS. Can anyone tell me whether Syaoran used to say “Aa” a lot or not? I know is a very common expression (Kusanagi said it later in this chapter, for example), but who knows? ^^”
So Fye’s eye will not come back O.o I think I like that… means we’ll see a patched!Fye for quite sometime ^^” However, I’m not so sure if I liked the fact that he can get his eye back and by doing so, he’ll lose his dependence on Kurogane.
I thought it was cool and tragic because if Kurogane died, Fye would die as well, but now there’s sort of a light in the end of the tunnel XD I think I’ll have to wait for the consequences and how the events will unfold…
I’m so impressed by Kurogane’s kindness in this chapter… when he said that if he hadn’t accept the pact with Yuuko, Fye would have died, and later he added that he accepted to do it without thinking twice because Mokona was desperate asking for Yuuko and he trusts Mokona ^_______^ Character development ! *points*
Still on the eye matter, in the end, what Fye really needs is the other half of his powers, after that he can survive by his own (that if he really wants to survive ^^”). I really thought it wasn’t possible to retrieve the eye (just like it wasn’t possible for Watanuki to retrieve his eye from the Spider Lady). But if you think about it, the eye is still there, the powers are still there, so…
I’m really curious to see how all this mess is gonna be solved. Will Fye have the will to live? Will he get his eye back, and thus, will the clone be blind of one eye?
Moving on, I just loved the scene where Mokona jumps to Kamui’s shoulder X333 So cute, the both of them ! And you can tell Kamui is a little shy because of Mokona’s gratitude XDDDD Little by little he’s becoming our “Kamui-chan” ^0^
And yay, just when we were all wondering about Fuuma’s gang (at least I was ^^), and just when things were looking like closing, we finally get to see Fuuma again ^^ I hope this means this world is gonna last longer XDDD
And he’s carrying a feather O__o Like, wth? Didn’t the clone leave this world because there were NO more feathers left? 
Were Fuuma and his feather in another world too? Or, is that Seishirou’s feather? But it looks weird… O.o
But go ahead, just give it to Sakura already ! XD And the poor girl shall continue to sleep until the next volume xDDDD

Just LOVED the splash page, of course ! *-* I hope CLAMP will give us a color page of Neko Musume u.u
What caught my attention in this chapter, only after reading the translations, of course (by x_reggg-chan, btw ^^), is that Doumeki seemed rather thoughtful when Watanuki told him that he gave the balloon to Kohane, even though Doumeki’s grandfather didn’t ask him to do so.
I don’t really get, I thought he did great by giving to a lonely girl a balloon with sweet dreams, or is it because he’s also surprised because his grandfather predicted the future? We shall see why Doumeki seemed so worried.
Whoa, big changes in how Watanuki sees Himawari now About time ! It took 3 wise people to make him realize that XDDDDDDDD

Oh my, it looks pretty bad ! O.O It could be a false alarm too, you know these cliffhangers, but it sure doesn’t look like it. Unless someone was underneath him like… Doumeki, OMG he left him before !!! O.O
Whoever it is, someone is screwed (sorry the vocabulary xD), and I’m really curious to know who, and what will happen to him/her !
I really hope is not just a false alarm, I think XXXHOLiC was needing some little tragics too XD

xxxHOLiC wins this week over Tsubasa. I didn’t see it coming either. Man, CLAMP knows how to push our buttons. Personally, I’m of the opinion that he fell on Doumeki and Watanuki escapes certain doom with a few cuts from the glass. Or maybe Watanuki will be in critical condition and Doumeki confesses his undying love for Watanuki!

I’ll be really mad if all that blood was just a false alarm. I like how things are going, because to me it feels like XXXHOLiC is moving to it’s end.
Falling above Doumeki is a very high possibility, specially after the conversation they had before, it felt as if CLAMP was trying to show that “he’s in the school”.

Kurogane saying he trusts Mokona was one of the best things in the whole episode for me. X3 Character development indeed! After all, trusting Mokona basically means trusting Yuuko, and that changes a lot because he’s the only one who isn’t travelling of his own will.
HOLiC was… wonderful. (In the sense that it was really well done, of course, not that I’m happy about what happened!) I’m worried about Watanuki, because they can’t just brush away a cliffhanger like that with “oh, I just bumped my head” or something. But I hope that nothing too bad will happen to him.
And we have to wait two weeks, gaaah.

Actually he says “I trusted the witch to figure something out”, so he *does* mean Yuuko, which is a *huge* improvement compared to his earlier attitude towards her. I really loved that part too.

Maybe it would have kept him from falling out of the window in the first place? That whole scene is weird though, one wouldn’t fall out of a window by just bumping into it. He would have had to been leaning on it for that to happen. Himawari is cursed. D:

Yes and no,
Kohane eat Doumeki’s serving, but Watanuki keep the bentou box. He had it in his hand when he fell. But now, he will probably have to buy another one. Let’s just hope it wasn’t Yuuko’s bentou or it will be costly for our pook Watanuki-kun. -_-

The ending of HOLiC just left me speechless, all I could say about it was “HOLY CRAP” and then the thought that it could be Doumeki’s blood crossed my mind. Gaaaaaah. I want to know what happens! Evil two week waits 😥
Tsubasa was just… good. I really loved it this week as well (ohoho…). Fai’s pain over the transformation was expected, I just didn’t expect it to be like that. It was scary and I felt terrible for Fai, but CLAMP went about it in an incredibly fanservicey way, I think XD I thought the Mokona and Kurogane part was cute, as well as the Mokona and Kamui parts. So adorable! The part where Syaoran gives Kurogane the black eyepatch he used to wear so that Kurogane could put it on Fai was a really interesting gesture, kind of like a truce between the two of them. Hm, now we just to see what they’re going to do with this other feather business…

Yo Chibi-Yuuto! Genki desu ka? I love both chapters of Tsubasa and Holic. Love the splash pages from both of them, especially the Subaru and Kamui splash page (Subarashii desu wa!). For Tsubasa, there was a lot of tension and drama on Fai’s angst. Yokatta that he is not going to die. Thank you for giving a clearer explanation about the scenario of getting Fai’s eye back. I think that after this set of events that happened, Kurogane will probably remember his vow that he made with his father about protecting his loved ones. I loved the scene when Kurogane decided to trust Mokona. Glomps on the shiro manjuu!! ^o^

Kurogane saying that he trusts Mokona and Mokona+Kamui moments were the shining moments of the chapter… made only better by another appearence the (not-so) friendly neighbourhood Fuuma (and here I was getting annoyed that he only got a two chapter appearence) and another feather…? Perhaps clone Syaoran couldn’t detect the feather because it was in that case? Too far away? Fuuma could see clone Syaoran going 180 on his friends coming and kept it safe until clone Syaoran took off?

Totaly agree with XXXholic…my first thought was, ‘did she push him?’ then my second was ‘That’s so got to be Domeki’s blood!’
Fye’s pain was amazingly depicted, totally felt like every inch of his body was screaming out! Love the eye patch look on him so I’m not going to complain about the potential forverness of it!
Kamui does, indeed, become more and more X like…the shyness, the almost compleet girlyness…words can not say how much I’ve missed it!

Well for obvious reasons this week I prefer xxxHOLiC’s chapter. And I believe that there are two options for the next one:
-Doumeki intervening in Watanuki’s fall (Since he suspected something)
-Watanuki with the broken back (so painful if you ask me O_o)
BTW, it seems that in Tsubasa X world will last a little longer, I can’t be happier. And I’m wondering the same, why Fuuma has another feather since fake Syaoran said that there aren’t any more feathers in that world?
So, no xxxHOLiC next week but we have Tsubasa. To tell you the true it always happens on that kind of chapters, CLAMP most of the time do that; therefore, you get used to that isn’t it?

you made me thingk of the very begingi of TRC,…i dont know if it was in the mangam, or just the anime, but in TRC anime, when sakura was flying ,then she fell from 50 feet (albeit magicaly slowmo) syaoran lept up and cought her so she wouldnt get hurt…maybe doumeki did the same for watenuki? he’s got AWSOME reflexes…he DID catch watenuki seconds after he was pushed off the roof by the Angel-sama demon in vol 3

That made me remember that crap from Bee Train: Sakura’s flying like a zombie. Come on! that looks really weird ¬¬
But that’s not the point.
I believe that the points to consider important are:
1) Watanuki’s reaction when he noticed that the window would fall.
2) The position of Watanuki’s body after he falls. If he really wasn’t aware, he still falling with the initial position, but it looks like he rotated his body.
3) After change his body position, he even loosed his bags. Maybe to have his hands free?
4) The frame of the window looks bent. So this means it hit something and it was a very strong blow, it can’t be Watanuki’s body since the window falls first. Thus, it hit the floor or Doumeki’s body perhaps?
5) If Watanuki would had a direct fall, the effect of blood would be different.
6) As I said before, Doumeki suspected something. Look his reaction after Watanuki leaves.
7) When Watanuki is in trouble, always Doumeki is there to help him. Looks like CLAMP loves to punish Doumeki for Watanuki’s sake XD

I know I shouldn’t say that (or else all the Fye’s fan are gonna murder me…) but I was kinda sad it ended up so well for him…and so quickly! Like : in one chapter his situation could hardly be worst and in the next one, they tell us everything is alright and can be resolved getting back the eyes + they literaly told us what -MAY- happen in the next chapters = we can be sure Kuro is gonna fight against Clone|Syaoran to take the eyes back…
Apart from that, I’m personaly expecting Tsubasa to slow down, after all in the last volume, Clamp told us the truth behind the 2 Syaoran + Real|Syao got free from the seal and traveled trough dimensions + Fye got his eyes eaten + Subaru get out from the cocoon + fight between Syorans + …
As for XXXHolic…GREAT!!!!I just can’t believe we’re gonna have to wait 2 weeks to know what will happen…but unlike what the others said in their comment, I think that Watanuki’s fate MIGHT not be that good : in the interview of Clamp No Kiseki nº10 :

The point is that the others members of Clamp were shocked by what Ohkawa told them. But CNK 10 was released months ago…I don’t know if this “little bit” might have just been about Watanuki loosing his eyes or if it was about the end of XXXHolic and what is hapenning right now in the manga….

No, I don’t think she mentioned Kamui O.o Because, can vampires feed on other vampire’s blood or only normal human being’s? Because if they can’t, they it would explain why it doesn’t include Kamui, because Fye can’t feed of Kamui’s blood (because they are both vampires).

Hum, yeah, I’m thinking it’s from Doumeki as well… Because everybody is expecting to be Watanuki’s (the ones who only read XXXHOLiC, and aren’t that fond of CLAMP), but since we know CLAMP, we know too that they might do that with Doumeki, specially because it would be something the normal readers aren’t really “expecting”.

at last, fuuma arrives! i was sure that he will, because clamp has to explain why he was able to fight the almighty kamui until now, and that feather was logically the one that kept pure the water on his side, so i wonder why clone-syao didnt detected. Another thing i´m sure is that this feather is not seishiro´s feath., because i´m pretty sure that clone-syao will be the one fighting sei in the future.
Ah, poor fye! he is my favorite, after syaoran, and i truly sufer seen him in pain, but was relieved that he will not stay as a vampire. Sorry for all the fye-kuro girls; seems that this couple is not so sure to last.
The thing that is friking me now is… will kurogane fight clone-syao to the point of try to kill him?

I read this trc chapter 2 days ago when it came out in an uncleaned format. It is another good chapter indeed. Definately worth 2 weeks worth of pure waiting torture.
It really pains me to see Fye suffering so much due to his body transformation. But then Kurogane is being so nice in this chapter. And once again, he carried Fye in his arms. Is that pure fanservice or what!
Honestly, the idea of him being a vampire is nice and interesting but I still hope that he gets his eye back. After all, it is a sad fate if Kurogane were to die and thus, brings him along, too. But then again, Clamp is never known for happy endings, right? Expecially when it comes to the ‘fate’ issue. Just look at X and you’ll get what I mean.
Mokona and Kamui is simply the BEST part of the chapter. They are sooo adorable!! I really, REALLY wish they were to travel with Syaoran and co. just to see more of this cute pair. XD God. I think I might ship from Subaru/Kamui to Mokona/Kamui now. XD
Fuuma’s appearance sure is greatly done. Just when you think everything is over, BOOM! Fuuma appears with non other than the third feather! Clamp is so evil! >..<
Didn't follow xxxholic so can't comment about it. I follow the Del-Rey version of it so now, it's only on volume 7 if I'm not mistaken. The volume where Watanuki lost his eye. I only read until there. Others would be a spoiler so I tried to avoid as much as possible even though what you commented above seems so damn tempting for me to take a peek at it.
Btw, I was thinking of scanlating this trc chap. with a translation done by . So if anyone is interested, just tell me. ^^

In TRC, I love Kurogane’s character development for trusting Mokona. He’s the most reluctant member but I think he realize the importance of his journey. =) I love the Mokona hugging Kamui XD. It seems the white Mokona is more serious that the Kuro one XD.
In XXXHOLiC. I laughed it is just a soy sauce! XD we worried so much but it was just only a soy sauce! Gaaahh! Clamp is excellent in cliffhangers and I hate it XD. I hope no one dies here XD oh please! No more murdering the characters! XD I love how Doumeki really cares to Watanuki. As for Watanuki, at least he becomes aware a little bit! And he’s temper to Doumeki is lessen if you compare to earlier chapters. As for Himawari, I really don’t know what is going on with her. I think she ain’t bad but if she’s the bad luck to Watanuki, means they weren’t meant for each other. (I think I should write in my journal for further explaination 😛 ) Gaaahh!!! We have to wait another two weeks!

You know, in the beginning I was a TRC fan, but you lured me into Holic!! ;), even I got Legal Drug (and because Clamp said they’ll continue the proyect in the future), and I’m hoping the new episodes of Kobato be released.
Let’s hope Doumeki saves Watanuki or at least he won’t be hurt a lot, and there are a lot of questions in TRC, we should wait and see. I was worried about Fye, if he would change after becoming a vampire= the idea of losing your soul, a Whedon-verse idea, I don’t kow if it’s in Anne Rice’s novels too, but Yuuko adverted Kurogane he will not be happy about it, and maybe it will affect his interactions with everyone.
I have a question: I live in Mexico and I’m trying to get Tokyo Babylon (the mexican edition is delayed, Vid doesn’t give a release date), but I don’t know which way is cheaper: I know someone from Sao Paulo (the trouble is when she would come to México, or maybe she will mail it to me) or if I should get the Tokyopop edition (from the USA) I don’t know if its easy to get the 7 volumes in Brazil or it’s better to get them on Barnes and Noble (a cousin work in one store, she even get them cheaper).

About your TB question, I’m not sure if I’ll be of any help to you. Because personally, I never saw Tokyo Pop’s edition, I don’t know how good it is. The brazilian one is “fine”, but nothing else beyond that. They have the color pages and their translation is awesome, but it lacks in paper quality.
I personally think you should get Tokyo Pop’s edition, unless they are worse than the brazilian ones (but I don’t think so). Besides, it’s in english, and you can read it better than portuguese (you said it yourself that you think your english is better than your portuguese ^_^). And your cousin can get them for you for a cheaper price so, I think it’s a good call if you go for TokyoPop ^^

Indeed! I really like Holic, the art,all the references and the characters. But if you pay attention to Gouhou drug, there’s a lot of it in holic, the antics between the characters, the Hitsuzen thing, the supernatural element, etc. Yes, we’ll hope they continue it soon!!
Thank you for your advise about Tokyopop edition, getting a brazilian one was meant to practice my portuguese. I can read it, but my oral (and I think my writing XD )expression is rusty. I decided It would be TB because there are only 7 vols. and CCS is edited in Brazil in 24 vols

The scene of pain of Fay was gorgeous o__o It reminded me a lot of X’s scenes, like character’s deaths and pains. But this was hontoni gorgeous. I never thought I could see Fay in that state. Poor him ;___;
Now because Fay’s a vampire and Kurogane is his “bait”, Kuro-kun’s life get longer °° I wonder if this “effect” will also disappear if Fay will get his eye back.
And Kurogane trusting Mokona was also an highlighted scene *____* yay for Kuro/Mokona. It’s incredible that even if there was a lot of mysteries around Fay, Kuro trusted him and Mokona ç___ç

Yeah, I share the same feeling. I think she’s a normal girl, but she’s just not good FOR Watanuki (even though I don’t know why). And also, I think XXXHOLiC might be ending in vol. 12 or so o.o

I think thant Doumeki was worried because that baloon was supposed to protect Watanuki somehow and he understood it. That’s why he asked Watanuki to wait for him after school. To protect him himself!
Probably if Watanuki would have had the baloon with him, Himawari’s bad luck wouldn’t have affected him that way…

Omg, you just made me think of something !!! What if the ballon would “save” Watanuki from the fall? O____O I mean, what if it would make him float???? THAT’S IT !!!

My eyes just bugged out when poor Watanuki… hoo, heartbeat! Get a clue, Watanuki: the girl is BAD.
And of course, wicked Clamp lets us languish in angst for another week. They do have a nasty sense of humour don’t they, letting us hang? My guess is that Watanuki is going to wise up and (maybe?) soon we’ll have the full story on evil, evil Himawari-chan.

LOL! Poor Himawari, CLAMP, more precisely Ohkawa, is really creating a lot of enemies for the poor girl XDD
But as I said on a previous comment, I think she’s a normal girl. But yes, there’s -something- in her, that we still don’t know what >.My guess is that Watanuki is going to wise up and (maybe?) soon we’ll have the full story on evil, evil Himawari-chan.

Mokona has this *thing* for kitty eyes guys, doesn’t it? XDDD I mean, even though Mokona’s true love is Kurogane (XDDD), the thing was ALWAYS on Fye’s shoulders ^__^ And now that Fye is unfortunately in a bad situation, Mokona found a new shoulder xDDDD
