Crossovers are coming over and over! Chitose is not the only one in Kobato, look who else made their appearance on the second chapter:
According to Kasumi-chan, their names are Chiho and Chiyo and, surprise, they don’t have the persocon ears o.O I wonder who are they? Could they be real children Icchan based on to create both Chii and Freya? Their eyes are very human-like.
Now a thing I noticed today: I was reading hiragizawa‘s summaries of XXXHOLiC (which are great, BTW), and I noticed that the apartment where Kimihiro lived when he was a child (and I think he still does) is Chitose’s apartments!!!
Take a look! It’s definitely Chitose’s apartments!
(You are now thinking, “What the hell? Chitose is CLAMP’s new favorite character! She’s everywhere!!” XDDD)
On that chapter, Kimihiro explains to his spirit friend that his parents died and so he lived with a Landlady (That’s how Chitose is mainly known as) and a Tutor (That’s suits Icchan XD). That they are really kind with him (surely yes, since Chitose always wanted a child) and that he wanted to live by himself. At first, his new “parents” complained about it (because they cared about him so much) but later he could convince them. Well, you must agree with me that, as the owner of a condominium, it’s not hard to give an apartment for your boy, isn’t it?
Maybe I’m just being paranoid about Chitose and Icchan as his “parents”, but I’m sure that is Chitose’s apartments.
Also, on the same chapter, Kimihiro is baking a cake to his “mother”, it’s her birthday (his apartment looks a lot like Hideki’s). Chitose’s birthday is on September 24th. Later on, his spirit friend tells him that Kimihiro’s birthday is close. o.O (do you think six months are close?)
If all that thing of Chitose been his new “mom” is true, then I’ll be even more confuse to put XXXHOLiC on an actual time-line. Before Chobits? After Chobits? We don’t see any persocon walking on the streets on XXXHOLiC’s pages.
I WANT ANSWERS!!!
Changing now to Tsubasa TV Anime:
CLAMP’s Shonen Magazine Editor updated his column and he said that the seiyuus for the anime had been decided today! He didn’t said who they are gonna be, though -__-
One thing he did say was that the decision is really surprising (it surprised himself), and that it’ll be soon announced on the magazine.
I wonder if he’s surprised that the old one came back or because the new ones are that surprising? I want answers…

4.- OMG, I demand to know if Seki and Ogata are coming back! But sadly, what I really want to know is the XXXHOLiC seiyuus ;_; I’ve always wanted to hear Seki voicing Watanuki… (I mean, Touya hardly appears in TRC, except if they do a lot of flashback fillers, so he can work at the movie, yes)

Personally, I think it’s all the same world, but in differents time-lines… (excluding RG Veda and CLOVER, of course).

It’s not like I’m *sure*, it’s feminine instinct. There are some worlds that cannot be the same. CLAMP’s works can be divided. For instance:
– Tokyo Babylon, 20 Mensou, Dukylon, CLAMP Campus Detectives, X
– Angelic Layer, Kobato, Chobits
– Suki Dakara Suki, Gohou Drug, XXXHOLiC (Card Captor Sakura? It’s still debatable)
– RG Veda
– Leyend of Chunhyang (or whatever it’s called)
– Magic Knight Rayearth
– Clover
– Wish
– Multiple Tsubasa worlds
They’re separated until proven wrong. For instance, no mention to the end of the world or earthquakes in Tokyo, in any other CLAMP work, so how can X world be related to, for instance, Chobits world? I’ve given a lot of thought about it. I had the theory Clover could be Gohou Drug’s futuristic, er, future, but it’s just a hunch.
Dude, have you ever seen anyone being “mean” to any Chii? No. Because they’re “OMGSOCUTE” (well, maybe “Dragonfly”, but he’s a perv). Icchan may be weird, but he’s a gentleman.
Now, he’s known for being a prankster towards young men, so… I can see him sending Kimi to buy him something in Kyoto.

Well, Yuuko seems to know Subaru (Although maybe she know him from another world), so… X could be the past of XXXHOLiC… which means the world won’t crumble.
Also, if I’m not wrong, Yuuko does say to Kimihiro that the “real” Sakura and Syaoran are actually living on Japan, so… I guess it’s also connected.

Don’t worry, I just happen to recognize like 4 or 5 seiyuus, but I can’t imagine Touya and Yukito with different voices. Who knows why XD Also, I’ve heard Mr. Seki incarnating grumpy boys, so I can picture him as Watanuki as a perfect cast. Heck, he could even do Doumeki. Second thoughts, any male role in XXXHOLiC.
But I also want to see Oujirou again!
The thing about Subaru… yeah, he knows him and maybe Hokuto, but what are the chances he’s in the same dimension? Remember that Yuuko knows Hanshin!Sorata and Arashi, and they’re from different worlds. Maybe Yuuko has been in X!world? I get the feeling Yuuko has made (perhaps with Clow) a lot of interdimensional travels in the past. How else could she see MKR!Mokona?

Yeah, that’s the main problem when Yuuko is talking about a CLAMP Chara… it could be from a different world.
But I’m sure CCS is in the same verse as XXXHOLiC.
Also, I do think X is the same world as all others…
Because the shape of the earth is the same (I mean, all the continents)
And also, the Japan of X has ALL the buildings from the actual Japan.
So, I don’t think it’s a different world…
For me it’s just different timelines…
And for me, it’s rather hard to do an end for X with the end of the world. I think it’s clear that the earth will remain the same. So, X is just the past for AL/Chobits.

Another place where Piffle Princess appears is in the backside story of Seiichiro Aoki in X. I think he had bought some presents for his daughter and wife ^__^
In CCS (volume 9, I think ^^U) Kero has a book where appears Hikaru of AL, it seems to be a guide for an AL videogame.

Indeed Chitose can’t have babies… and Watanuki’s parents are indeed dead, so, in my teory, the ones who adopted him were Chitose and Icchan ^^

Waaahhh! Mais crossover em Kobato ^^ Acho que elas gostaram mesmo da Chitose mas achei meio estranho aparecer me XXXHolic. Então, quase todas as obras recentes tem uma ligação entre si… E todas acabam caindo no condomínio da Chitose… Só estou confusa na ordem cronológica
Parece-me que Chiho e Chiyo são humanas mas que eu me lembre, a Chitose não podia ter filhos em Chobits o_o’Percebi tb os olhos delas, são diferentes.
Sobre os seiyuus, não aguento de tanta curiosidade… Gostaria que fossem Sakura Tange e Motoko Kumai mas acho difícil…

Don’t know If I should say this in english or portuguese, but..
I read ‘Um litro de lágrima’. The quality of the paper is pretty good. Actually, the quality in general is good.
What I didn’t like was the typography. They use a different font that we are used to. It’s like Comic Sans ¬¬’
And about the translation… The sucked with Hetalia. They translated it from enlish, but saying that was from japanese. Their adaptation is not that good too.
I will just buy because it’s from CLAMP, but I’ll definitely buy the japanese edition too.
But I have to say… Thanks goodness it won’t be published by JBC. I hate them and that half-tankos O.Ó
Also their quality and translation… sucks. –‘ Just Miyuki-chan is saved since it’s a graphic novel.

I agree that sometimes Saya looks like Sayaka… I was expecting Saya to be a little more devilish, bloody, you know? But it looks like she’s a very sweet girl. Which is weird, for a Blood anime… but I think CLAMP knows what they are doing!

The art is nice, I’m glad we won’t see Hana on every color page, she/he/it is nice, but I rather not have another Chobits where 95% of the illustration were Chii (and Freya). ^^;
Lots of fight, but at least it seems to be over now. I hope we get back to Tachibana and Sakura next chapter and get proper explaination on what’s going on. ^^;
I don’t know for the new character, Koujuurou, either he’s a girly boy or she’s a boyly girl. ^^; But since s/he look quite flat on the upper front and has a boy name, I’ll bet Koujuurou’s a boy for now.
I can’t wait for the translation.

Before the ending of xxxHOLiC and Tsubasa, I would have been all over voting for X to be finished next. Now, though? I hope they NEVER pick it up again. Their endings have sucked (to be blunt), and I don’t want X to go out that way. I much rather keep it where it is, and just guess at endings. I’m sure the fanon is better, anyway.
As for what I would like to see worked on? Legal Drug, mostly. It’s not that far into the series, so (hopefully) there would be more to enjoy before it’s left off poorly.
