The seventh volume of Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ dropped to the 12th position in Oricon’s weekly ranking, with an estimate of 40,290 copies sold in its second week of sales. Combining weeks 1 and 2, volume 7 has sold an estimate of 138,379 copies overall.
These numbers are for the regular edition, only. Numbers for the special edition (Drama CD part 1) are unknown as it did not appear on the ranking.
Historically speaking, these are the lowest second week sales for a Clear Card arc volume and the lowest overall sales by the second week, too. However, once again we need to bear in mind that volume 7 was up for pre-order many months prior to its release date so that may have affected its performance at the Oricon ranking.
It is worth mentioning that Oricon only takes into account a certain number of shops. These numbers are only an estimate and it’s possible that the real figures are higher than these.
