Kodansha USA is planning to release Tsubasa – WoRLD CHRoNiCLE – in August.

– Many things to talk about this title page: a) love to see a color illustration of Kujaku! So unexpected (I bet because he is Ohkawa’s favorite). He looks so pretty! Does this mean he will appear again in the series? I hope so! b) what’s with CLAMP and peacocks lately? At least they look awesome so I’m not complaining. c) CLAMP are using a lot of gradient lately on their color illustrations and I think it looks great!

– So Syaoran and the others are out of bondaires for Watanuki. I guess because they are in this “nor here nor there” sort of place? He lets Sakura know that through a dream, which is nice of him. Again we see the 4 itens that were originally from XXXHOLiC Rei. One of them already took an important role in the story, waiting for the other 3 to take their part now.

– This lady appears and she looks creepy for Fye and Kurogane but totally fine for Syaoran. I want to say she’s a character from RG Veda but I’m not sure. Maybe she’s just random and not at all from a CLAMP series? (shame on me for not knowing that).

– Apart from her creepy, deadly look, she comes along with Syaoran and the others to whatever place they are heading to…

– 30 pages this month (these chapters are getting smaller and smaller each time!). This is the first chapter of volume 2.

– Next issue will have color page(s)!

– There is a nice translation to the relationship chart that came with the raws, for those interested — we find out that there really ins’t any other Yuuko in any other world.
