The official website of CLAMP in CARDLAND added bigger versions of the package illustrations for Series 2 and 3. The 3rd package’s colors seem adjusted now, everything looks so much nicer and better xD

Insignificant news: the official website of XXXHOLiC◆Kei added the characters profiles of Doumeki and Himawari.

Last but not least, Takuya Matsushita updated his column at CLAMP-PLA.NET today and, according to him, the animation of the new XXXHOLiC season surpasses the previous one’s:

Now we just have to wait and see.
And no, he doesn’t mention anything else about Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC’s “big project”. Some people have been asking me about it. I’m starting to think that XXXHOLiC’s project was the Collaboration Drama CD, but we still have to see Tsubasa’s.
XXXHOLiC◆Kei starts next week, on April 3.

Okay, NOW we can see some real ANIMATION there!!! XDDDDDDDDDDDD
It REALLY has improved, and the “weird factor” that you mentioned on you last post seems to be present more effectively than before. It really impressed me. I just HONESTLY hope it isn´t a first-episode thing… Anime TV series always turn me down on that point… As I said before, and I like that example, even commercial (AND FUNNY) crap like Ouran Host Club received better care!!

Oh, about the video, when Yuuko touches Watakuni´s face, it looks like the scene has been done by two different animators (there´s usually one, at least, for each character) and it seems that they didn´t know how to “connect” or “match” their work, because it doesn´t seem that Yuuko´s actually touching him. Lighting problems, probably. They forgot to insert shadows for Yuuko´s hand…
But that´s me being picky, you know?? Always the small details…
Oh well, the rest of the animation looks good for a TV series. Hope they invest a little more this time. By the way, Yuuto-san, it´s been a long time since I last read xxxHOLiC. So, in your opinion, is there enough story left to fill TWENTY-SIX EPISODES, avoiding filler chapters?? Do you believe the TV series is going to finish at the same time as the manga?
Maybe the manga could finish some weeks later, like they did with Sakura or Chobits, forcing the producers to write an alternative ending for the anime.

First off, only 13 episodes have been confirmed so far. Demo demo, I’m pretty sure they’ll renew the series for more 26 episodes, they always do. And yes, I believe there are enough story to fill in those 26 episodes.
There will be fillers like most animes out there, but no more than necessary. Season 1 covered volumes 1 to 6. True, there were a few stories from volumes 7 and up (the woman and the photograph and the snowball fight), but Season 2 will cover volumes 7 until the last volume (which should be 14 or 15). Specially since I strongly believe the anime will have an original ending.

The anime will end in October but I don’t think the manga will be over by then. So the anime will end before which is why its ending will be different than the manga and also with no links to Tsubasa.
