CLAMP in CARDLAND 2 launched!

The 2nd Series of CLAMP in CARDLAND was released yesterday in Japan!

This series has a total of 81 cards and the following are (really low quality) pictures of one of the cards with new CLAMP art, the Secret Card entitled Black Prince, featuring Lelouch and C.C. of Code Geass:

You can find different samples of the same cards in this link, as well as samples of the other 80 cards in this link, both via Yahoo Auctions.

I’m going to post pictures of the Point Card featuring the Rayearth girls as soon as they are available.

The 3rd, 4th and 5th Series of CLAMP in CARDLAND are aimed for a May, August and November release, respectively.

Some unfortunate news now, my buddy yoshiyukikun could not get a ticket for the upcoming XXXHOLiC anime event, that will take place on March 15th at LOFT PLUSONE.

He was in the homepage of Lawson’s, ready to order his ticket online, waiting for 10 o’clock of this morning (the time when the tickets went on sale), and when the time came and he refreshed Lawson’s website, the site just wouldn’t load! The number of people accessing it was so much that the system must have overloaded.

Worried, he quickly went to the streets to one of the Lawson’s tickets machines, but he didn’t find any luck whatsoever. The machines are also managed by an online system, and it was also overloaded. After several attempts, the machine returned a message that the tickets were all sold out. The website too, returned an hour later to say that there were no more tickets available.

In his words, “it was as if the entire Japan was trying to buy these tickets” xD They sold out in less than half hour.

That’s very unfortunate but I kind of expected that, given that a similar pattern happened in the last CLAMP event sold by Lawson’s Tickets. The fact that they are so accessible for everyone makes it so hard to obtain one.

Not everything is over, though, there are loads of people selling their tickets on Yahoo Auctions and he’ll try to apply to one of them. I hate that XD People, not fans, buy the tickets to later put them on auction and take money out of that.

We lost a battle, but not the war XDD I’ll keep you informed!
