Kobato. Drop. 3 by CnL

Cool! We managed to bring this chapter before Christmas, even cooler since it’s been out in Japan for only 5 days. Great work, Alison and Jamie *congratulates*

This chapter’s edition was very pleasant. A lot of dialogs and not much SFX = great.


So what was the outcome of the Bazaar? Have they raised enough money to pay the debt? Because the yakuza are still claiming for the money… hum… What’s more, Okiura seems to be their boss, and he and Sayaka share the same surname. I think it’s not a coincidence, I think they are siblings (they even have the same appearance). I want to know his first name, and what happened in their past, and specially what made him join and become the boss of the yakuza! xD

I want to order a pizza from Piffle Pizza…

The cell phone scene was cute, but why do I get the feeling that indeed Kobato didn’t have a cell phone? And why do I think Ioryogi must have “conjured” one out of Kobato’s purse? xD I just don’t think the place where Kobato came from has cell phones xD What cute cell phone, though, with the little dove (wait and soon it’ll become an official merchandise xD)

And seems like CLAMP has “fixed” the drops inside Kobato’s bottle. Now we can clearly see all 7 drops (1 from Toshihiko plus 6 from the Bazaar). On Drop. 1 we could only see 6 drops. I wonder if that was really a mistake… I guess we’ll have to wait for the tankoubon and check if they made any changes.

      I really think so xDDD I think he can conjure anything Kobato needs xD For example, her many clothes… where does she get all those different models? She had nothing with her when she appeared… just a bag xD

    Ioryogi has that anime/manga power of materialization from nothing – first Kobato’s flask and now a cell phone. I bet he’s some sort of god…

    Fujimoto’s expression when Kobato yanked down his head was pretty funny. Poor guy…

      Do you really think he’s the owner of the Piffle brand? XD That would be cool! However, you can request to the company to have Fujimoto make the delivery xD

  6. You three were so fast this month. o.O

    It’s definitely good to be back on the main story, I know it’s been three months already, but it still feel so nice to get actual plot every time. ^_^

    The cell phone definitely spawned out of the thin air, just like Kobato’s many outfits (there just no way all her stuff can enter in this case). XD

    I can’t wait to learn the details about the debt and the relationship between the Okiura.

      YES! I have noticed that too XDDD She has too many different outfits… I want to know where they all come from (CLAMP owe us an explanation ^^)

        That’s a bit like Kohaku’s clothing in fact, it’s like their clothes change at will, like they always wear the same, but they look different every time. I hope you get what I mean… ^^;

      Yeah, there’s the whole plot think that she can’t fall in love with whoever she’s healing, which still has to be introduced in the manga… I wonder if they have droped that premise? xD
