TRC 171 !

The Room of Requirement is up-to-date again! That’s right, all chapters released so far of Kobato., Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC are available for download in there.

They were all greatly scanned by ladydarkmoon-san, of course. Welcome back, Alison, by the way. You did an amazing job like always! ^^

And I’m a bit late with these, but…


Seishirou is destined to fight inside a Kekkai, always xD (I thought Kendappa wouldn’t let Seishirou and Syaoran start their fight, I would have killed her xD)

Seishirou’s sword hits the edge of Syaoran’s right arm! Okay, I’m not gonna take it and consider it as another clue that he is Fei Wang’s son (bad vision on his right eye -> Fei Wang uses a monocle on his right eye). Oh crap, now I already did ^^””””

So Fye contacted Yuuko on his own while in Infinity. Seems like we weren’t the only ones wishing for a safe world after Celes ^^” I didn’t know he could do that (for someone who can cross dimensions alone, this must be quite easy to perform, though), and that only proves that Fye and Sakura really are alike. Sakura also had her secrets talks with Yuuko.

And Fye sounded like wanted only the other 3 to go to the next world, I think he hoped he would die in Celes. How extremely kind of Fye to guarantee a safe world for them ❤ But Yuuko made him pay the price for 4 people nevertheless xD

The price was the Chess Tournament Trophy (I wonder why Yuuko needs that O.o She already got the money and now the trophy xD) and Tomoyo's yumemi power (my gosh, that's a heavy price!). I wonder how Yuuko knew about it… did Tomoyo kind of asked her beforehand too?

All these commercial exchanges (what would be of Tsubasa without Yuuko? xD), really makes me wonder what kind of destiny awaits these prices. We are probably never going to find out what happens to the majority of these items once they get into Yuuko's storehouse, I think. It's a pity since it would be really nice to see that those things are actually going somewhere, or how they could affect the course of things. I hope they won't be forgotten by CLAMP and that we'll see them again, be it on Tsubasa, XXXHOLiC or any other CLAMP work (hence the Daffodil Vase).

Not much happened in this chapter, but I'm extremely curious about Seishirou and Syaoran's fight. Will there be blood?

  1. I’ve hoped that the stuff Yuuko took from Tsubasa would end up on xxxHolic like, Sakura’s good luck. If Himawari is cursed with bad luck, wouldn’t this make a good solution? :/ And now the Yumemi powers… and Watanuki has been wacky lately with all the dreams… I can’t wait for the manga to pick up again.

    • Exactly, I had hoped that too. There are a lot of “Tsubasa” items in Yuuko’s storehouse: Sakura’s luck, Fye’s little bit of magic, Tomoyo Yumemi’s powers, to name a few (but there are others, of course~)

    • She’s from Rg Veda where she was the court musician of the God kingdom and she was in love with Souma. There’s more, but I let you read it instead of spoiling you the story. ^_~

    Thanks for the catch-up on TRC as for the CLAMP no Lumiere release!! 😀
    So finally Seishirou is around, there are lots of things to unfold yet!! I’m excited about this new battle too!!

  6. Tomoyo’s Kekkai’s form is so cute! After fighting in a star shaped kekkai, Seishirou is now in a moon shaped one. ^_^

    Well maybe she need it to put on her fireplace mantel piece. ^_~ But why didn’t we saw it yet? The price, not the fireplace.

    • I forgot to mention Tomoyo’s kekkai form! It really is very cute xD And she transported every but Fye and herself, how tricky of her xDDD

      Hahahah indeed we haven’t seen it yet, but it must be a very pretty thing, it was manufactured in Infinity after all ^^

  7. I agree that’d it’d be a realy interesting concept to follow what happens to items once they arrive with Yuuko, perhaps Clamp could so a few shorts concentraiting on the matter!

    The fight is so invigorating (as allways with Clamp fights) and I’m totaly uncertain of which of the two I want to back…I know that I should be with Shaoran 100% but if Sei-chan looses the feather he won’t be able to travel and that’ll mean he’ll never find what he’s after…

    ohh the dilema!!!

    • There has been too many so far, it would be interesting to see what kind of different uses these items could have.

      Not at all! He found the feather in Outo ^__^ His power to cross dimensions comes from his eye and it was given to him by Yuuko, it has nothing to do with the feather ^__^

      • I’m sure he said something about his ablity to cross dimentions being limited to only a few skips and that, as he’d already exhausted the limit, the feather was giving him a much needed ‘top up’…but then perhaps that was poor fan subbing on the anime…

        either way it’s a fairly exciting situation!
