Awesome to see Kobato. is steady, no color pages in any of the chapters, though. And more info on the tankoubon! Possibly the cover art and/or price information.

• Comics:
The covers of Tsubasa #21 have been announced!
Loooved the normal edition cover! Really liked all the blue-ness of it, and it’s really rare to see such a close-up on a normal edition cover, so that’s new to me.
And ha! Mokona got itself a deluxe cover! XD Mokona is the man.
Tsubasa #21 hits bookstores on November 16th.

Omg, XXXHOLiC wasn’t postponed by only one week, but three! The last XXXHOLiC chapter was published in Young Magazine #40, that means the series took a break of 10 issues in a row. I think that’s the longest break in XXXHOLiC’s history.
I’m more and more convinced that XXXHOLiC is really going to be 14-volumes long now. That pace just confirms my theory.
• Book:
CLAMP is going to draw the cover and the inside illustrations for the children’s book The Witch’s Mansion and the Moon Fortuneteller (魔女館と月の占い師). The book was written by Tsukumo Youko and it’s the 3rd book of “The Witch’s Mansion” series. This third installment will be released on December 17th, costing 704 yens.

I think it fits with Tsubasa being 28 and XXXHOLiC half of it, which is 14. XXXHOLiC’s story has pretty much been told already, what’s left is only the conclusion.

I have the feeling that the next deluxe cover will be Watanuki…he must get a cover soon or later, right?… I really hope to find out more about Syaoran and Watanuki’s bond in next tanbokon ^^

You do have a great point. He is indeed important for the plot.
So Watanuki, Xing Huo, Fei Wang and Real!Syaoran. That is 4 out of 7. The remaining 3 could be new crossover characters we haven’t seen yet (I can’t believe the MKR girls won’t appear, or Suu)

why? well I’m asking becasue I have the calendar preordered there becasue the shipping for only the calendar from amazon is too high and I can’t merge it with the OVA becasue that would delay the OVA adn being ‘limited’ is not a good idea…(I actually fear I’ll lose the preorder slot number when I merge it with the deluxe vol :-//) But if yesasia does weird things with the deliveries…. amazon ships FAST!…. dunnow….

I think it has to do with “availability” XD
Like, they’ll only have it in stock around the 25th. But if it makes you feel better, sometimes these stores throw dates at random just to guarantee, you know what I mean? You might get it even earlier (or even later depending on the store’s “fame” XD)

exactly, for the availability, I can’t know for sure 10 days or more later amazon will still have OVA’s ;D They don’t reserve stuff! if the day comes and they don’t have OVA’s I’ll get a fugly email telling me and they will then delay the calendar waiting for OVA’s (if they are availabe somewhere) and the calendar is also limited!!

no, I DIDN’T pay, in any of the 2 shops
;D They will charge my card ONLY when they ‘pack’ the stuff…. and only for the stuff they can ‘pack’… it happend to me with british amazon long ago, one of the DVD’s was not available and I had to remove it from the order after much waiting or I could not get the others… I bought it alone directly form the distributors page… o_o;

it is not available… in any online shop I’ve bought it is…. and I’ve bought games in several…. They alwyas state you order and will only be charged at the deliver moment…. this way preorders work….

Maybe in Japan or other countries, but when I pre-order stuff in Brazil I ALWAYS pay them before-hand so I can “garantee” my copy, no matter how limited it is.

First of all, I really want to say that I love the regular cover of TRC Volume 21. It is very rare to see Syaoran wearing something blue, but he really looks awesome. ^^ Fangirl “Squee” Level: Triple Overload Alert!!! *super genki* The White Mokona looks pretty good for the deluxe edition.
Kobato will be back… hontou yokatta desu wa!! ^^ TRC will be straight on without breakers… excellent!!! ^o^ And yet… we have to continue suffering more HOLiC-less weeks until near mid-November! ;_______;

CONSIDERING that it will be back indeed on Nov. 12, and CONSIDERING that all 12 chapters of tank 13 and all 12 chapters of tank 14 get published all IN A ROW (which is impossible), it means that the last chapter of tank 14 will be published on April 21st.
But OF COURSE, that’s not going to happen XD We have breaks for tank 13, more breaks between tanks 13 and 14, breaks for tank 14, double issues and stuff.
XXXHOLiC is so going to end on tank 14.

Steady chapters for Tsubasa and two lovely covers! ^_^ I loooved the standard edition cover too, there’s an epic feeling about it or something. ^_^
xxxHolic is postponded again? But I was so happy I would have an chapter this week… -_- The biggest gap to date was the 7 seeks/5 issues break from the beginning of 2005, but why 9 now? ;_; We almost get a complete tankoubon of Tsubasa without a single chapter of xxxHolic. ~_~

They might even drop the title pages for the tankoubon, à la X and Rg Veda, as only the double spred title page of exam 1 was in color, not the two first manga pages too. So it might not matter wether the first chapter of a tankoubon have a color page or not.

But it works fine with X and RG Vega which stories are continuous. Kobato.’s chapters are closed (at least the ones from “Exam.”).
Unless the “Drop.” chapters will be continuous as well.

Yes, I’m willing to give CLAMP the benefit of the doubt on waiting for Holic. It’s not like they’re lazing around–they’ve got lots of other stuff going on, and most of it is pretty good. I’m curious when the storylines Holic and TRC are finally going to permanently intersect, and I wonder if this break is leading up to something like that…

I’m glad for stable Kobato releases, though, because I re-read that this week and am completely smitten with it.
The stable Tsubasa chapters are good news, too. No cliffhangers just as Seishirou reenters the picture. They may be evil for HOLiC delays but at least they’re not gonna wave Seishirou in front of our noses and then disappear for a fortnight.

I was wondering how do you get these news. I went on clamp’s official website. Beside the release dates, it says the corresponding shonen magazine issuea and words like “update” or “new”. But I can never find where the chapter number is written. How come “new” comes out 3 times for xxxHolic but there will only be one issue? I was wondering because last night the clamp’s website was updated and I was eager to find out, but I could not.

I never would have thought that Mokona would make the cover (at least, not until really really close to the end). But it’s so cute… Normal edition cover is awesome (I like the blueness too ^^)
If the “prequel” chapters are called Exams and the post-bazaar chapters are Drop(s), then what the the Sunday GX chapters? Or maybe, they’ll change the chapter titles every tankouban?
