The return of XXXHOLiC was postponed by one week. It was originally scheduled to return on October 15th.
And with that, XXXHOLiC becomes the 3rd longest work of CLAMP, only behind Tsubasa and X.
• Comics:
The cover of XXXHOLiC #12 has been announced!
Indian style… deshou?
XXXHOLiC #12 will be released on the next October 17th.
• Books:
It’s already on sale the Complete Guide of XXXHOLiC Game for PS2. The book features basically everything about the game: story, characters, clothes, etc, a good call for those who have played the game and liked it.
The price for the Complete Guide is 1000 yens.
• Event:
X Movie Special Screening:
The animation movie of X will be screened at the Kadokawa Animation Festival at Toho Cinemas on October 16th.
If CLAMP were to attend, that would be a great opportunity to hear what they have to say (again) about the current status of the manga, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. However, it’s still very nice to know that X’s movie will be screened at an Anime Festival.
CLAMP AUTUMN FESTIVAL:
I posted here a few days ago about the fair that the Animate network of stores will be holding from October 19th to October 25th. Whoever purchases at least 1000 yens in CLAMP products will be presented with a special photo collection, and Animate has added a few samples of these in here.
They wear a big “SAMPLE” in front of them, but I guess those are their real patterns since CLAMP-NET also claims the goods to look like that.
The Photo Collection will feature images from RG Veda, 20 Mensho ni Onegai!!, X, Tokyo Babylon, Tsubasa, XXXHOLiC and two versions of CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2.
• CLAMP in 3-D LAND:
The official site of CLAMP in 3-D LAND added a very mysterious picture of the upcoming 5th Series. In the picture, we can’t really see what the Figures look like, only their silhouettes (how evil of them! XD):
Ah, let me see… I’m only pretty sure that the one at the far right is Chunyan xD And maybe the one beside her is Miyuki-chan (because the thing looks like it’s running XD)?
Fye must be the one underneath Chunyan and the supposed Miyuki-chan xD
Beside Fye, Takeshi? xD Maybe that thing near his foot is part of his armor? XD
And finally the one at the far left, in my opinion, is Utako.
But of course, I’ve no idea of what I’m saying XD What are your guesses? ^__^
The 5th Series of CLAMP in 3-D LAND is scheduled for December.

My only guess was Chunyan really.
But you made a valuable point, WHEN is the X manga finishing, gods that frustrates me, I kind of gave up on it so I wouldn’t become disappointed.
And I wanted to go to those Animate stores and get those photos, it’s just a very bad day.

I’m positive they’ll pick it up on 2009 (god, that’s far from now) after Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC are over.
But if they don’t, THEN I’ll give up on it……..
I didn’t think those “photo collections” were that pretty, to tell you the truth xDDDD The X picture they chose is not one of my favorites.

According to my counts, it should end on December-2008/January-2009, maybe February… That, if they don’t slow down the pacing.

They’re just pumpimg us and toying with our emotional stability (or lack of) and now I have to prepare for all those regular tankubon and those deluxe ones as well.
And that also limits the chances of seeing it all animated… *sigh* I would love that Ceres country animated.

Indeed, it’s a pity what has become of the Tsubasa anime. Even with the eventual release of OVAs, we’ll never get a decent animated version of the first 14 tankoubons.
Unless they decide to make a remake out of it 10 years from now xD

I liked the Soundtrack a lot and the cast. The fillers drove me insane.

Hahahaha I have pre-ordered CIW2 only (I had to!), but it won’t arrive here before December, I think.
It’s good and bad at the same time, that we are already that far in the year. I love the end of the year, but it’s a bit scary too, to think how time goes by so quickly.

It’s a fine guess… and he’s holding a long and thin object, could be Fye’s staff. But that Figure’s hair doesn’t look like Fye’s O.o and if it is Mokona, where are it’s ears?

There hasn’t been any official announcement about when TRC or XXXHOLiC should end, only speculation.
I have a very strong guess that the series is going to be 28 volumes (based on a few arguments), and that the end should happen around the end of 2008, beginning of 2009.

I’m agree with your guesses. The left one is Utako because it’s her hair style. The one below her is Takeshi because he is the one that uses a sword in Duklyon, and maybe the thing on his feet is the Duklyon’s helmet. Up of him is Miyuki because…yes she is always running XDDD also it looks like she is on a skateboard?
an object representative of Miyuki-chan’s series or is a big toast? XDDDD. And the other ones are obviously Fay and Chunyan.

Translated as:
Fai.D.Flourite: TRC.
Utako Ōkawa: Man of Many faces.
Syuu..kaidou… Takeshi… (I think that’s it, beginner Jap): Duklyon.
Chunyan: Legend of Chunyan. (I don’t actually know how to spell her name…I guessed it)
Miyuki: Miyuki-chan in Wonderland.
