The official website of Tsubasa TOKYO REVELATIONS has been updated with character sketches (setteis) of Syaoran, Sakura, Fye and Kurogane. They look very good!
A new event has been added. There will be an exclusive preview section due to October 21st. The official website will recruit a total of 650 people to attend to the first screening of the OAD at the Kodansha Hall. This month’s anime magazines Animage and Newtype are also expected to come with forms as they will be presenting more tickets to the event.
Additionally, new members of the staff and a new entry of the Producer’s Diary has been added as well.
The first Tsubasa OAD will be attached to Tsubasa #21 due to November 16th.

Moving to Kobato. now. As you might as well know, in this month Kobato. is taking a break and instead we have an article about the series. Sources who got early copies of the magazine claim that the next issue of Newtype magazine, the October one (out on September 10th), is promised to be a big CLAMP feature.
Moreover, it is told that a “big news” regarding Kobato. will be announced soon (probably in October’s Newtype)!
More information as they come, stay tuned!!
EDIT: A tiny mistake above, we do have a Kobato. chapter scheduled for this month, sorry about that. The article and the “big news” will be featured on the October Newtype issue, to be released on September 10th.

Are there any confirmations on the cast for TOKYO REVELATIONS? Not the main cast, but Kamui, Fuuma and the rest? I wonder if they’ll be using the X TV Series cast or use a different one altogether.

No, nobody from the cast apart from the main has been announced yet.
It would be very cool if they used the same seiyuus, but I think it’s very unlikely, for all of them, at least…

CLAMP had a few favorite seiyuus that they used quite frequently, like Megumi Ogata, Koosugi Juurota, Mitsuishi Kotono, Tomokazu Seki, but I guess they faded into the background.
I hope the big news about Kobato isn’t a TV series, it has little appeal to me.

Ok Arashi,Fuma,and Satsuki are a must from the tv series,especially Arashi now i love the entire cast but she’s my fave!If they call on faves Ogata Megumi for Kamui or Subaru would rock so much my heart wouldn’t handle it!

I don’t think that Ogata Megumi will be used, considering that the following characters also had her as a seiyuu and she didn’t record them, Princess Emeraude and Yukito.
Also, she was the seiyuu for Eagle and he shows up after Tokyo world.

I have little hope Arashi won’t have Hiramatsu Akiko’s voice, same for Sorata / Suyama Akio, Yzuriha / Chiba Chiemi , Kusanagi / Ishimoda Shirou , Karen / Okamoto Maya. Even Xinghuo and Feiwang still have the same voice, it seems they will stick to previous series’ cast.

Ryoka Yuzuki was great and I would be glad if they take her over Hiramatsu Akiko, but I’m afraid they’ll stick to the Tsubasa Chronicle’s cast. ¬_¬

didn’t skip a thing, 3 hrs in the morning, 3 in the afternoon, it’s finally over, and shortly i have to head off to do a pile of homework ;-; but as tired as i may be, i musttt keep my head on and focus if i want to get into the school and be able to cope well

Wow. I am impressed. They managed to capture CLAMP’s drawing style rather well and hey, they seem to be lacking the BeeTrain ears. Awesome. I’m very excited for this OAV. Just the detail work on little things like Sakura’s tears and Fai’s hair is amazing. *__*

Oh! the chara design seems good, and it seems Syaoran and Fay will go out before Kurogane again, gaining Tokyo outfits before the ninja. Will it still be for giant worm hunt? we’ll see. ^_^ Although that’s pretty much where the first OVA should stop, because the next one is named the boy’s right eye, The Syaoran vs Syaoran fight will occure in the second one.

Well, they are more active with their site that I expected them to be, of course, it’s one of their only way of advertisment, but still, they put quite a lot of effort to add new stuff regularly.

Could be! Yuuko and Xing Huo’s cast have been announced, that means the scene with real Syaoran arrives at Yuuko’s shop will be there, maybe the fight will happen right after that.

Indeed. Even more than the XXXHOLiC’s movie website. This one is simply GREAT! We are getting new updates as the production goes by, it’s like real-time sneak-peak! I’m still half-hoping that someday the producer will post an entry where he says “CLAMP-sensei was here last week”. I want them to go to check the production X3

That is very possible. The announcement will come up on September, quite near the release of Tank 0, they could totally make this big campaign DOUBLE RELEASE!! announcement.
I don’t know, really… whenever it’s “big news”, it’s usually something related to another media… If it’s an anime, then it won’t be for now… now is Tsubasa’s moment, Tsubasa and it’s OVA. Besides, Kobato. doesn’t even have enough tanks to form an anime series.

Kuroki is so regular with his entry, we have an update every week. It gives us a good idea how thing proceed for an animated project. I hope we’ll heard of Clamp too. ^_^

Well, you never know, if Ohkawa do the script, they might start next April. But it would be too early to get anything good. An OVA is more likely and safer. Although it is the Newtype, an animation is almost more likely than a Drama CD.

As expected, most of them have worked in previous PRODUCTION IG projects, some of them are old pals from XXXHOLiC and TRC movies.
But the sound director has such an impressive curriculum! He has worked in great animes and movies, not to mention CCS and Chobits which, in my opinion, have one of the BEST OSTs of all time! http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=317

With XXXHOLiC’s 2nd season announcement, I don’t know what to think anymore xDDDD I guess I’ll just wait and see… but I would love to know it’s an anime by MADHOUSE, even if it’s only for, say, 2010 or something XDDDDDDDDD

The DVD looks so good, I really looking foward to it… I’m so glad because it’s X world, it’s Tokyo… I want to see Fuuma and Kamui again… I wish they were more gorgeous than in X anime… Well, the release is in October isn’t it? It’ll be released the same time in Japan and in USA? … Do you know if there are somo photos or some screencaps of the DVD?… I really want to see the pictures¡¡

There will be a premiere on October 21st, but it won’t be avalable for the public to buy before November 16th.
There’s no word about the USA yet, but I suppose volume 21’s limited edition will be avalable around the same in Ameriacan Japanese bookstores, in Japanese, that is. For an English version to be avalable around the same time, I wouldn’t count on it, it takes extra time to cast, schedule the production, translate, dub and post product, but it may be avalable a few months later. Although our good old English Fansub will be there after a week or two. ^_~
The only color image avalable now is the background of the official site, they are barely starting the production of the anime, there’s not a single frame ready to film. We’ll have to wait a few more weeks. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the news!!! The sketches looks soooooooo cool, It looks asif it was drawn by CLAMP personaly, Similarity = 99.9%. Except the eyes a bit, in the anime the colors were usualy clear (toooo much trouble I guess…) , but in the manga CLAMP usually makes it look dreamy. I wanna see Fuuma, Subaru and KAMUI~~~
Let’s hope that the whole OVA will be as good as the sketches… IG is sooooooooooooooooo much better than Beetrain!!! I hate Beetrain, they make EVERYONE almost through the WHOLE series out of shape!!! Sometimes their eyes are tooo small, tooo far apart, their clothings looks impossible to wear (Sakura’s is the worst so far, the golden lining on top and below her shirt was SUPPOSE to LOOK like REAL GOLD as in the manga, but they make it looks like it was sew…)And they simplified almost everyone’s clothing and accesories… Simple graphics is fine to me, but for god’s sake, make them look nicer, Mokona was the UGLIEST of all~~ Mokona was suppose to be SMALL, and cuddly. In the anime, Moko-chan IS cuddly but looks ENORMOUS!!! No way~~~
The only thing that made the anime worth watching is the musics and the seiyuus… Speaking of seiyuus, I do hope they would use the original seiyuu for the original characters, although that isn’t realy possible, some might had grown up/older, and their voice aren’t the same anymore, or maybe they quit… But still, let’s pray and hope… >.<

The sketches of Syaoran looks very nice and Sakura-hime’s looks are better than the anime series. ^///^ I really found the sketches of Kurogane to be quite incredible and Fai is all right. Overall, they all look very awesome!! ^^
