I intended to do this yesterday, but when I got home, surprise! My internet was down.
There they are, then, in The Room of Requirement since yesterday. As always, the scans were kind conceived by ladydarkmoon.
Ah, by the way, on the next I’ll be removing the links of Tsubasa Volume 18 and 19 (there’s too much Tsubasa in there xD), so magazine-raws admirers, this is your last chance to download them.

Tsubasa:
The good thing about splash pages is that the dead always reappear. But Kyle is not dead, not as far as we know anyway. I wonder if, like Xing Huo, he’s also an experiment that went wrong?. Nice outfits, nonetheless.
Oh noes, I can’t believe Fye is feeling blamed for Ashura-ou’s sick death wish.
So it was Ashura-ou who killed all people from Celes… for sometime I thought it could have been Fye. Ashura-ou either wants to get stronger than Fye or make Fye really hate him to the point of killing him. Remember he said Fye should kill whoever did harm to the Celes civilians.
Kurogane attacked to kill, but I believe all he wanted was to extinguish the false illusion of the real Fye. He repeated here what he said in Tokyo that he didn’t care about Fye’s past, which is good for Kurogane’s own character. He doesn’t want to kill Fye, instead he wants Fye to realize Ashura-ou’s true intentions. Which makes me wonder if the true Fye remains sleeping underneath the pool.
I don’t understand how Kurogane saw right through Ashura-ou so quickly O.o He claims the tattoo’s purpose to have no sense, and we didn’t know about the tattoo until one chapter ago, but he’s all bad-tempered since 2 chapters ago… surely there must be more behind it…
The tattoo… we finally discovered it’s purpose last chapter, and it seemed very confusing at first, but in this chapter we find out Ashura-ou erased from Fye’s memory it’s true purpose. Fye didn’t know the tattoo prevented his powers from getting bigger. This is all so that Ashura-ou can surpass Fye’s magic power and the curse would be triggered on Ashura-ou himself. Very clever.
I don’t know why Ashura-ou wants to get killed by Fye, and he decided it very early when Fye was still just a child… he came to pick Fye up from the Valley but we don’t know who sent him… I wonder if there’s something we don’t know yet that shall happen once Fye does it (ie, Ashura-ou’s powers being transfered to Fye or something…) and there’s the second, untold curse on Fye… I wonder if Ashura-ou knows about it.
If Fye didn’t know what the tattoo served for, I wonder why he chose not to use his magic after he gave it to Yuuko O.o
I wonder… I wonder… @_@
Fye’s past is getting to a close… I wouldn’t be surprised if by the next chapter we see the scene where Fye locks Ashura-ou down the pool and moves to Yuuko’s place.
And is Fye going to do it? The reason he’s been running all this time has caught him… He’s at such a tough spot, the person he likes, maybe even loves so much wants to get killed by him, I surely wouldn’t want to be in his position ^^”””
The cliff is high but we’ll have to hang in there, because we’ll only find out 20 days from now.

Watanuki’s parents? What parents? We’re fishing now! Suure, because we weren’t curious at the least to know more about Watanuki’s parents, but since this volume has been nonsense from the beginning, let’s not argue about that XD
This chapter was creeeeepy xDDDDD I loved it, actually. It reminded me of the early chapter of XXXHOLiC, weird and creepy.
It seems like, just like werewolves, these ladies transforms themselves in the full moon, only not to wolfs, but birds. Cool XD
But then again, I won’t be surprised if we find out it was all just a dream XD
I must say, I’m no fan of Doumeki’s, but his last line was absolutely amusing XDDDDDDDD It cracked me up!

I haven’t read RG Veda myself (I intend to, though) but a lot of fans are now speculating the reason Ashura-ou wanted Fai to kill him was for two reasons. The first one is because Fai’s curse can only be triggered once, so if it’s triggered on Ashura-ou and Fai succeeds, it won’t be activated again. Secondly is because in RG Veda, the Ashura clan has some sort of blood seal, that when broken, they become Gods of Destruction. In the original series, it was genderless baby!Ashura whose seal was broken. A lot of people seem to think this time ’round, it was reveresed, and Ashura-ou’s seal was broken, which explains why he went berserker and why he would want Fai to kill him (because once you become the God of Destruction, you just start killing everyone aimlessly, even people you care about.)
I don’t know how much of that is accurate, but it seems like the most interesting and plausable theory I’ve seen so far for Ashura-ou’s behaviour.

I see… but I would rather choose the first option or a third one. I don’t like to think that Ashura-ou went all berserk for no reason except due to his own nature. I think there’s more behind it (or maybe it’s just a sick death wish, we know some CLAMP characters have it)

If Ashura is friends with Yuuko I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t have approved of Ashura using such ruthless brutality to end Fay’s curse. I think that’s the main thing that we’re all wondering… What wish could possibly justify the slaughtering of so many innocent people? Fay’s curse is to kill only 1 person. Killing so many people to prevent that just doesn’t sit right, especially when you consider that Fay’s curse wasn’t even intended for Sakura, but Syaoran.

I think he wants to be killed by Fye. Why by him exactly, I don’t know. But when it comes to Ashura-ou, I think he’s determinded to do whatever it takes for the sake of his wish, even killing an entire country.

he run out because he don’t want to kill his father!!!, but know he must understand that he must do it if he cares for his new family and the glance of the last page tellme maybe he is awakening to the truth!!!!

Despite it all, I still can’t help but like Ashura… He’s been one of those characters (like Clow), that can do pretty much anything, because he always the best interests at heart (“You want to completely mind-screw a cute, adorable little kid who’s done nothing wrong? Sure! Go ahead! 8DDD I’m sure it’s all for the best!!”) It’s a love-hate relationship. ^^;

It took a long, bloody time for us to get here…and there’s still a few more steps to it. There’s a twisted euphoria about, dangit, waiting for that next chapter, for that anguish and that fact that is oh-so-possible, but taboo to say for sure.
This is why I abhor and admire CLAMP.
Bloody hell! Even though they’re the ones being traipsed around, the characters always know more about the story than the readers! Kurogane, spill your guts (well, you know what I mean) right now, dangit!! -_-” I got it bad, wanting to know about Fye’s past. And his was the most mysterious to me, more mysterious than Syaoran’s, because I knew it would take a long, long time to get to his past, and CLAMP wouldn’t surrender it without a protracted, bloody fight!!
Same for xxxHOLiC. =_=” Why, why? Yes, of course, I can survive on this cliffhanger for about 20 days, don’t worry. What? Of course I’ll be alright! No withdrawl or anything, I won’t even wonder about his parents. Really, go on to a filler chapter…Urgh. O_O The reservoirs of CLAMP goodness will be empty until dangerously close to school time! And speaking of school…”We ate them all…” O_O Doumeki. It’s comical how clearly, apathetically say that…but…Oh.My.Goodness. You all ate the class pets.

I am very satisfied with Fye’s past. It was so full of twists and everything is so far making much sense. We still have some questions, but we know much more than we did before ^^

I am so all the way with you on this one. I feel kind of removed from Tsubasa, and Holic was turning INTO Tsubasa, so. But this chapter was wonderful. I was upset about not finding out about Watanuki’s parents, but only for about four seconds, after which I went, “FISHING THEY ARE FISHING? ♥” and the chapter just got even more Holic-ish and good from there. They’re finally making Watanuki’s sleeping business disjointed and creepy and ♥♥♥!

If Ashura-Ou is anything like his RG Veda counterpart he will stop at nothing to achieve what his heart desires, even if it means sacrificing his life, so this might an elaborate manipulation to have Fye or Kurogane kill him.

Exactly. I definitely agree. He’ll do whatever it takes for the sake of his wish, which seems to be get killed by Fye. The question is why he has that wish.

Could it be that he has some sort of curse or something else that forces him to kill and he wants to die to end the vicious cycle? Or is it something else?
I never expected these plot twists concerning Fye, even though his smile made me think that he was hiding something definitely grim.
I definitely think that Ashura will end up being killed, but will it be Fye or will Kurogane decide to kill Ashura instead? I don’t think Kurogane will dye, because that automatically means that Fye would die from lack of… ahem sustenance.
I can’t wait for the next chapter.

Maybe Ashura, just to be safe, made him swear not to use magic without the tattoo… It would make sense, because Ashura doesn’t want Fay to become stronger! I hope they’ll explain this better, because I always felt that Fay was scared to use his magic, so Ashura should have said him that something horrible would happen if he would use magic without the tattoo.
I can’t even imagine what will happen now… I would bet on Ashura’s death, but probably we’ll learn some more about him! He looked so sad when he first met Fay… What happened to him before? My guess is that it is something about Taishakuten…

About that, someone told me something that I think it’s very true. I think Fye thought that the tattoo was to control the curse. Ashura-ou told him that he should only remember that he gave him the tattoo. I think Fye assumed that it helped him against the curse.

I wonder if Taishakuten will ever appear in Tsubasa. Still, there MUST be a reason of why Ashura-ou wants to get killed by Fye, precisely. Maybe the answer is in that “before” that you mentioned 😉

(waa I’m two days behind on commenting…I feel so ashamed!!) As I’ve said previously I’ve totaly given up attempting to make sense of either Tsubasa’s or xxxHOLIC’s storylines right now! Something I’m currently glad of given The lie within a lie thing that Ashura-oh has going on at the moment!!
also, I wished, randomly, to express my love for Domeki at the moment! He’s the one thing you can allways count on to stay the same!
