The NEWS BOARD section at CLAMP-NET.COM is stating that the website will be renewed by it’s next update, scheduled for June 4th and not on the 1st as usual (that’s what I understood, please anyone correct me if I’m wrong).
May I? FINALLY!!!! *absolutely loves when the CLAMP-NET.COM is renewed* This layout it’s been there since September of 2005, for crying out loud, and it’s not even that great, in comparision to the previous ones. I hope the new design will be great, and new sections too, and wallpapers, I’m looking forward to it ^_____^ please ignore my overreaction
On the other hand, yesterday on the same section, they announced that there was a mistake in XXXHOLiC’s schedule, and a break was added for June 4th, where Chapter 137 was supposed to be released. The new schedule is the following:
05/28 – Young Magazine #26 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled (on sale).
06/04 – Young Magazine #27 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled.
06/11 – Young Magazine #28 – Chapter 137.

At last, a new layout! The useless “from Clamp” section will disapear, although I hope the loft one won’t and will get some new icons (I’m daydreaming here). I hope they’ll make a special section for Code Geass in the “headline news”, the etc. section is now way longer than any other, it feels kind of unbalanced. I also hope for some good old wallpaper, although I’m afraid we will never get one of those again. -_-
About xxxHolic, it was to be expected, we have four chapters for each series, it’s time to slow down Holic. Although Tsubasa shouldn’t be borring with all the Ceres stuff! ^_^

Tell me about it, it’s making the ETC section all messy XD Maybe CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2 will have one for it’s own too, I suppose a lot of events are merchandise are coming.
[dreaming]I hope the new design will contain more original drawings (a bit of flash wouldn’t hurt either), gets updated more regularly than the 1st and 16th, and it contains new sections ruled by CLAMP themselves… they seem too distant from CLAMP-NET.COM now that they have CLAMP-PLA.NET.[/dreaming]

We, the lovers of CLAMP-NET, really appreciate to see new art and design from Clamp and therefore appreciate CLAMP-NET renewals. This one have stay for way too long.
And yeah, a Clamp in Wonderland 2 + Clamp in 3Dland section would make the etc. section less messy.

I don’t thing will see more updates, it has been a two updates a month site ever since the beginning in 1997 and with clamp-pla.net, there is no need for more. As for more original drawing, we all miss the old designs, don’t we?

Yeah but that’s with the HEADLINE NEWS, and they are OK to update on the 1st and 16th, but before they used to have other sections (like COLUMNS that moved to CLAMP-PLA.NET) that were frequently updated. I remember every week at least one section was updated.

Seriously, up to now, I’ve dissected that site SO MUCH that I find it pretty easy to understand it xD But I remember in the beginning it was so painful to get any info from there xDDD

Yeah, when I first found their site in 2000, there were big pages of talk with some tiny pictures called “Topics” about the running series (X, Chobits, Gouhou Drug and Angelic layer at that time). And my browser wasn’t showing Japanese properly. -_-

Yeah, I VAGUELY remember that version… they started with the RED, GREEN and YELLOW scheme around there xD They had little banners advertising the release of a new tank, it was wonderful.
BTW, your sister has already contributed with some very precious materials, do you happen to have anything (screenshots, anything from 1997 and on) that she doesn’t? *is addicted to CLAMP-NET*

I have some screensot of the center of the website back in 2002. At this time the layout was the television one. I have the one with the “English boy” and his girlfriend, the tatoo couple on red background and the 2002 Football Moundial tribute plus matching Wallpaper and some more images dating from that time. I did a big .rar file that I’ll e-mail it to you if you want it.

I called Tomoe-chan tonight and she has exactly what I have. So no need to send it again I guess.
But in case you don’t know yet, there’s the Wayback Machine (http://www.archive.org/web/web.php)that can show you part of what Clamp-net used to look like. They only keep the .html files, but it help you go back in time. ^_~

I was looking at my cds, I thought, I have some layouts but I can’t find them ;___; The things I found were some wallpapers and images they put (maybe you have them too).
