Today is a very special day because Tsubaki Nekoi is celebrating one more anniversary ! The artist becomes 38 years old today.
May she find happiness, I hope her wishes will come true and that she keeps being the wonderful artist that she is for many, many more years. My best regards ! ^__^

After the cut there are pictures of some of the presents she got.
She received this beautiful flower arrangement from Takashi Yamazaki, a very dear friend of CLAMP. She got it in advance on the 19th while they were having a meal after work. She said that she gets flowers from him for 12 years ^__^

Yes, kinda, the “true” Yamazaki’s name is written with 3 kanjis, 山崎貴. While CCS’s Yamazaki has one more kanji: 山崎貴史 ^__^
It’s definitely a homage. I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but in CnK there’s an article he wrote for CLAMP, and we discover that Yamazaki’s character is TOTALLY based on him XDDD He also used to tell some stories to CLAMP that would make them go “Ehhh, sou desu ka? o.o”, pretty much like Sakura and the others (except Chiharu) reacted xD

OMG! OMG! i’m soo happy for her and myself lol tomorrow is my birthday, my dad and i share the same day but i’m really happy to celebrate my borthday the day after hers, her bouquets are very nice ^_^. she’s so talented i hope she wants to continue doing comics until she’s old ^-^

She got them from different persons, the last one was from Yamazaki but she didn’t mention who gave the other two (only that she really liked them). I hope she’ll show what each CLAMP member gave her, like Mokona did last year.

Oh I see. But maybe all 4 of them, plus Yamazaki, were having meal together, she didn’t mention ^^ And he probably presents the other 3 too. I don’t think there’s anything going on between them. Besides, they once said that, since they are women, people do tend to give them flowers (they said they would like alcohol instead XDDD)

wow is 38 year aniversary for Nekoi san Happi birthaay and she is very young oh my god a i’m also in the 30º decade (i’m 30) i hope i will have a bit of her imagination and talent.. i really hope they continue their art work for many decades from now.
i like to meet Yamasaki in flesh he is some a like the CCS character!!!! and send her flowers 12 years in a road i also love in my book.

Yeah, none of them look to have the age they have ^^ Japanese people look younger to start with, and they are rich so that helps a lot too XD (Nekoi said that she recently whitened her teeth xD)
