I just saw this and I thought it would be good to post here.
In this entry, Nekoi slightly hints that this year we might (noticed the unsureness of it? XD) have the return of Gouhou Drug. There’s a Gouhou Drug drawing, too ^^
A Long Silence
The year has just started and we are already in the middle of the month.
How fast, how fast! Time goes by with an eye blinking.
I’m kinda busy in a strange way.
I want to do these scribbles in the meantime, but this year I want to draw these two very badly, who have been taking a rest for a long time.
Maybe someone doesn’t know them…
新年も明けて半ば。
早い早いよ、時の流れは瞬く間よ！
なんか妙に忙しいですよ。
そんな合間をぬってラクガキしていきたいと

この二人もちょこちょこっと描いたり

Thanks to sakura84-chan and yoshiyukikun for helping me with the translation (Yes, I had to confirm it with 2 people to make sure of it XD)
Personally, I’d like to be optimistic and hope that Ohkawa’s “near future” meant 2007. XXXHOLiC and Tsubasa will surely end, if not this year, on the next one at the very maximum. But this is nothing official so let’s not raise our hopes, at least not too much ^^”
And as Utada Hikaru says… time will tell ^^

Oh yesh, please bring back Gohou Drug! It’s one of their most clean and elegantly drawn works, and I’ve been wondering about the underlying story for a long time!

Hmm, that could fit very well in my friend’s theory that GD has some place in TRC and XXXholic finale. She says that they have not two but three mangas connected and CLAMP was waiting to retake GD. I don’t know. ^^;
But damn! Rikuo and Kazahaya look amazing.

Well, we know that was not the main reason GD was put under a hiatus, but who knows? Maybe one more cameo? ^^ XXXHOLiC and GD are surely very similar works.

I am also having a feeling that tsubasa and holic might be finishing soon as well. They way that the story is heading, the big battle might be comming soon, may be in a few later volumes in the hopefully. Than they can finsih off the other uncomplete series.

We know Mokona is a drawing machine but we don’t know about Nekoi O.o She was surely taking it well back at the beginning of XXXHOLiC when GD was still being published. I think she can handles it if XXXHOLiC is about to end.

I really hope that Gouhou Drug gets continued this year too! And what a lovely drawing! (Though Kazahaya looks a bit different to me, but still very good looking, Rikuou too.)
But the good thing about GD is that at least it’s not a cliffhanger now so it’s not that painful to wait.. Unlike *cough* X *cough*, I hope they will continue with that soon.

I read in one of your latests posts that you’ve been losing your interest for CLAMP ._. So I hope GD will come back soon and make you feel better about it =\
The reason for the hiatus was because there was no Magazine for it to be serialized. When Girl’s Empire closed, Asuka “lend” CLAMP a room in Asuka for one more volume, hoping that they would have found a new magazine by then, but they didn’t, so it had to be stopped ^^” But apparently the situation is cleared now since Ohkawa said there was “no problem” with GD anymore.

This so makes up for my annoyance that Wikipedia says “As of 1/28/07, Tokyopop is to release the 4th volume”, which we know to be nonsense. I hate it when Wikipedia lies to me 😦
