It’s Christmas. Christmas Eve.
As expected, all 4 members are working in the studio.
This year we didn’t have the time to prepare a cake, so we ordered some pizza (C.C loves it. Pizza Hut-san’s Cheese Roll) and some chicken.
Champagne was opened. 2 bottles.
I wanted to drink more, but I had to leave the celebration and get back to work.
What kind of Christmas Eve will it be next year? (surely working again).
Oh my, these girls work…. o.o Just thought I should post it ^^

Aw, they’re working through Christmas?
I think that’s kinda funny considering how a while back some people were complaining about Tsubasa taking a 3 week break and saying that CLAMP was lazy and arrogant for doing so (like they don’t have other things to work on besides Tsubasa, and making 15-20 pages of manga is a simple task…it’s not). Anyway, not only does it seem like they’re working, they’re not even taking Christmas off. So those people who were complaining need to be quiet, to put it politely ;D

This is my first Christmas in Japan and I worked today. :shrugs: Golden Week, Obon, and New Year are more significant holidays for most Japanese.
That said, I’m glad I’m not a mangaka in Japan. They work insane hours, I think.

Really? So it IS true that Japan doesn’t care for Christmas AS MUCH as we do.

Yes indeed. Ontogenesis-san is right bellow. I have a friend who lives in Japan and he also worked on Christmas. I guess they really don’t give as much importance as we ocidentals ^^

So each CLAMP member drank half a bottle of champagne… I understand some things about their series now xDDDDDDD And the like Rolling Pizza… well, taht’s normal, it’s very tasty :3

I KNOW ! XD Here in my home we are in 5 people in total, and we always open only 1 bottle. But CLAMP is 4 women for 2 bottles !!! Not to mention that their little party was very quick and rushed so, in a normal party, they would probably drink even more xDDDDDDDDDDDD

Yeah, Christmas is indeed not THAT important to them. And Pizza Hut is very tasty XDD But from what I got, they wanted to be eating something else xDDD (like the cake they couldn’t make).

C.C is a character from Code Geass (the characters were designed by CLAMP but not the story) who seems to be perpetually be eating Pizza Hut when not being cryptic. XD Character stuff here.
I wouldn’t have known either except I finally broke down and started watching it last week. ♥
