Unfortunately this week we didn’t have a new interesting guest, on the contrary, Nekoi was absent during the first minutes of the show (from what I got she was finishing working), but later she joined the other 3 ^^
During the time she was outside, the members talked about Nekoi and their old high-school days (Mokona, Satsuki and Nekoi are childhood friends).
After Nekoi joined up, they started reading e-mails from the listeners. The e-mails are -still- not that interesting (XD). I don’t know exactly what was their subject, but it was related to family ^^” The current question is “Which CLAMP work did you read first?”, and this promises to be a bit more interesting ^^ People will submit their messages and in the next episodes we’ll found out some of the answers.
Lastly they talked about pets, I think their childhood pets. Mokona had one (I don’t know what kind of animal @_@) named “Pi”, and she called it “Pi-chan” (I wonder if this affected Ohkawa when she wrote the script for the next XXXHOLiC chapter, hummm. You’ll know what I’m talking about on Wednesday xD).
The subject couldn’t have ended before mentioning their own pets, Kakyou and Kogane.

clamp_hikari-san has kindly been making small summaries of the past shows, and it’s something else to understand a bit more of what was said. Here’s what she did so far:

(Just a note, in number 4’s summary, it’s written that the editor didn’t know CLAMP was a group of 4 women until FLOW’s single for Code Geass was released. However, he actually meant the magazine “FRaU”, which contained the first public appearance of CLAMP, released on September/2004. clamp_hikari-san just got confused by the very similar pronunciation ^^”)
However, thank you very much to her for doing these, it helps a lot to understand what’s going on ^_________^

mela-san has kindly and greatly scanned the 2nd Official Guide Book of Tsubasa. I asked for her permission, and she allowed me to host the scans at The Room of Requirement. Thank you very much, mela-san *bows* ^__^
For those who don’t know about this or the 1st Guide, it’s a cool Book with a nice and neat database of everything that happened during vols 8 to 14. Character and World guides, Trivias, Fan’s Polls, Interviews and the very best (IMO) part, the Material Gallery, containing nice sketches of characters and places, a storyboard Mokona did for the 2nd anime OP (SHE DID IT JUST FOR FUN ! *DIES* IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER ! *DIES AGAIN*) and Ohkawa’s original script for one of the chapters of the Shurano arc !
A true must-check for all TRC fans ^^
The scans I upped to the RoR have been re-sized to 1000px width, divided in 4 parts of 20 MB each.
The original scans are bigger, and you can find them at this post of the clamp2share community (you have to be a member of the community in order to see it).

So that’s what that was! Psssh, if CLAMP were on the team the anime would be amazing. That storyboard was a lot of fun, I’d have loved to see it animated (that part with Fai swinging that chain thingy would have looked so great…)

Definitely ! It’s so much better (I mean, SO much better) than all those still frames of BeeTrain’s version ¬¬ It had dragons *-* and feathers *-* And that color page of the 200-something calendar !

I would’ve loved to see Mokona’s idea for the 2nd OP used instead of the one the series has now. The December picture from the 2005 Tsubasa + xxxHOLiC calendar has always been one of my favorite Tsubasa pictures and it would’ve been great to see it used as the basic idea for the 2nd OP. It’s great when anime series use images the mangaka has drawn for use in OPs (BLEACH is a great example of this).

The storyboard seems good! I wish it was used for the second opening instead (but since it was done just for fun, I suppose there’s just no way it could have been so -_-). The costumes from the 2005 calendr pic again (they will be in Clamp in Wonderland), it seems Clamp liked them a lot. There’s a picture with Ashura-Ou and Fay, it would have been so cute! I hope will get his story soon. And Kuro and his parents … ^_^
Mokona is interviewed this time and we got Ohkawa’s scenario along with the actual pages of the book. Nice!

I suppose so, they are among the main characters after all. If Doumeki made it, they should; they are always by Syaoran’s side, while Doumeki’s appearance or more random. Plus, they had chess pieces, a cover and chibi on the box in the Clamp no Kiseki stuff, Domeki had none of this, they should be in. (let me believe they will)

OMG!!! Only for fun? Did Mokona-sensei mean it? It is so… I dont know how to discribe it. But i absolutely love it! Although it is only a storyboard. HA! See that bee train? Even our Mokona-sensei did such a splendid job(not a job really :P)! And Ashura-ou with young Fay! HA(again)! What will you do about it, Bee Train? *evil laugh* Just put Fay’s princely character in the 2nd ED clip like that.

I always loved her storyboards ^__^ I think she has a great view of directing (well of course, after all these years drawing storyboards for CLAMP mangas). But I don’t know, I thought she had a hard time doing them, because they ARE more complex (at least I think they are). But after this, I can tell that she really ENJOYS making them ^___^

Wah, the storyboard is so lovely~~! So much movement and better action than the stupid mock-fighting-their-own-shadows thing. Also, the lyrics for “IT’S” are written next to the panels, so Mokona designed the OP with music in mind. (It fits really well if you turn the pages according to the lyrics.)
(Maybe even Mokona knows how sucky the anime is so she wanted to present the fans with something nice… or make them even more angry by saying “look, we could’ve made it look like this if they’d actually let us”. XDDD)
Anyway, lots of interesting tidbits in the guide. 🙂 It says that the KuroxFai pairing is second most popular to SxS, fans would love to live in Piffle the most and think that the funniest scene was Mokona imitating everyone’s voice in LeCourt and the saddest was Kuro’s mother dying. ;_;
I love that they list the cutest SxS romance moments and also the times Kurogane got reeeeally angry and all of Fai’s nicknames for Kuro. XDDD Oh, and the battle fans would like to see the most is… Fai vs. Kurogane. :DDDD Followed by Fai vs. Shaoran (bet they had no idea that they would get that so soon. O_o)
Okay, I could go on, but now I’m rambling, so I’ll just say thank you very much for hosting the scans. :O ♥
