CLAMP Internet Radio #3

This is very late this week, and I apologize for that. University got me really busy this week. Some people are living proof that I’m not lying (ne, Claudio-san? ^^)

At this episode we had our first special guest, Kiichirou Sugawara, the editor of Tsubasa ! ^__^

In the show, the main subject was Sugawara himself. The CLAMP members interviewed him and they would occasionally talk about Tsubasa.

Also, this episode ended up being 8 minutes bigger than the 2 previous ones, yahoo ! ^___^

A few comments:
– Sugawara sounds like such a cool guy ^^
– I love Ohkawa’s “Eeeeeeehh… o.o” ^________^
– The girls seemed like they were having a good time ^_^
– He gave his impressions for all 4 members, and for Ohkawa, he said “Onna genin”. They laughed so hard after he said that. Does anyone know what this means? XD (sorry if I misspelled it)
– This was so cool, I really hope other editors will attend as guests too (XXXHOLiC’s and Kobato’s) as well as CLAMP’s friends ^^

  2. Indeed College is hell this time of the year!!! >.< Actually this months are crucial for students, also a lot of people drops college because of the preasure. So, is REALLY understandable… and nobody will die if they can´t hear CLAMP´´s voices on time… How many years we spent just knowing their faces for a small and old black&white pic for God´s sake! >.<U. You just give your best (as you always do)! Btw, did you just call me a college´s whore?! (Kidding! XDDDD)Aaaaanyways! thank you so much for all the work (and trouble) ^_____^ I´ll save it for tomorrow´s bus, but if it is “onna genin” as 女下人  that will be “not much important  woman”  O.O. I  repeat I´m just commenting here I haven´t listened to it so I´m just speculatting, but if they laughed so hard maybe it was a huge sarcasm joke…dunno, sorry. Also i still have a doubt about the previous one, I´m thinking something but I may be wrong, if anybody could give me a hand to compare would be great ^^UI want X´s editors to come to the show…. *EVIL SMILE*Thanks again Alex!     • Last week was just one of those weeks with ALL the deadlines at the same time. And things will be kinda like that until the end of the semester (i.e. until the end of November).

    Ainda continuo não vendo as imgs e nem consigo fazer downloads ;___; Só pelo yousendit mesmo…
    Ah! Yuuto-san, vc já ouviu falar numa obra de Jooji Iida chamada Night Head?! Parece-me que CLAMP fez um mangá baseado nela em 93… Vc sabe que alguma coisa? Consegui encontrar uma nota num site mas nada que esclareça muita coisa… T__T

      But tests aren’t my worst enemy. In my college, the big problem are the projects @_@ They take months of planning, researching, discussing and pissing us off xDDDDDDD

      Actually that’s not what he said (thankfully XD) I asked for my friend to listen to it, he knows japanese a LOT, and he said it’s Onna Geinin (not “genin”), which has a complete different meaning. It means artist or actress, but in this case I think he meant artist ^^

      X manga? Well, you can try Be With You Scans O.o Did you try them already?

      • Thanks a lot!! (In my case, I don’t have projects, that’s why tests might be really difficult sometimes TwT)
        So, he was saying Ohkawa-sensei is an artistic woman! Now it makes sense xD (It’s really interesting how much a letter -a vowel in thise case- can change the meaning of a word). Thanks a lot Yuuto-san’s friend! 😛

        I tried with BWYS, but the problem is that they seem to have vol.01-03 and then from vol.14-19 O.o I don’t know where the others 7 volumes are TwT
        I also tried with their bittorrent system, but they only have the chapters/volumes they have modified ;-;
        Emule doesn’t have them either ;-;

      HAHAHAHAHA ! But actually that’s not really what he meant ^^””””””” Sorry, I heard it all wrong. Here, I’m gonna copy and paste what I posted for Kobato-san, on the previous comment:

    Yes, my dictionary says that it means a low-rank person or low-rank ninja. Still, I don’t know what Sugawara Kiichirou might have really meant with that… o_O

      • But that’s even weirder! Obviously Ookawa is a female artist, she’s been a mangaka for over 15 years… Did he mean that she has a strong vision about her works? Or that stuff created by her can truly be called “art”? Oh well…

        • I guess he meant artist in a “superstar” way. Like, these very famous women. Well, CLAMP ARE very famous among the manga universe, I just think that after he actually met her, he saw that, before being an artist, she’s a normal and very down-to-earth woman.

          That’s what I got anyway XD
