I like the unusual background of the splash page ^-^ And yay, Real!Syaoran !
Fye woke up ! Just because people commented last week that they were missing him ^__^ And he called Kurogane by his full name, and we know that’s not normal. I expected he would react like that towards Kurogane, but he’s still our old Fye, hiding his feelings behind a smile, so I’m happy ^__^
Fye did that because he wants to keep distant from Kurogane now, since he didn’t let Fye die (how angst ! @_@). I’m quite curious to see how their relationship will be from now on, and how this “coldness” of Fye will affect Kurogane.
Then there’s a Yuuko and Fye conversation (LOL, she actually asked for Mokona to sleep so they can talk in private, Mokona is such a good child !).
I read some translations, but I’m still kinda lost, but the way Yuuko was talking to him, I got the feeling she was saying “if you die, those children will be sad”, if you read between the lines.
Also, Fye mentions Ashura-ou and how he “lied” to him (?) O.o Something about taking him out of somewhere (out of his home-place?) and then what, deceived him? That would be cool to see.
Poor Sakura… just because she was wearing cool clothes u.u
So it seems as if her journey is half-over, because now she needs to get back XDDDD but I don’t think CLAMP will show us that XD So it’s look like over, and she found what Yuuko wanted. An egg. Watanuki’s egg. How cool ^__^

Yuuko gives an egg to Watanuki ! TEH egg ! The egg Sakura found on this week’s TRC chapter ! How cool is that? XDDDD Well of course, they are 6 days ahead of TRC’s storyline.
It’s so cool to find out where things came from, it’s the coolest part of crossed works (synchronization!).
Because it’s very easy for Yuuko to have all possible cool stuff, since she’s TEH Witch. But it’s nice to see where they came from. I wouldn’t mind to know what the hell such fragile egg is doing at a country like THAT. I hope it doesn’t lack on explanation like the “holy” water.
But inside the egg is SUCH A CUTE LITTLE BIRD OMG LOOK AT HIS FACE X33333333333333
I think the bird nullfies Himawari’s bad luck, and there’s something regarding Doumeki too (I think it has the same power as his blood? O.o), so Watanuki can stick around with Himawari freely ^________^ How nice of Yuuko ! Now I wonder:
Yuuko is known for giving people “magical” rings and glasses even though they aren’t really magical, hoping that people would change their bad habits while relying to supernatural reasons. So I wonder if that rule doesn’t apply to the bird too (in this case, to fix Himawari). Okay, maybe the bird isn’t ordinary bird, in fact, what if he transforms itself into a Phoenix or something, like Kudakitsune? Fine, enough of HP references XD First the golden egg and now a Phoenix? XD Alright just one more: anyone remember Ron and Felix Felicis? That’s what I’m talking about. But then again, this is XXXHOLiC, the creature kills for it’s cuteness, maybe it really has that kind of power.
Whoa Yuuko changed clothes 2 times on the same chapter xDDDDDDDDDD
The creature is beyond cute. Period. We’ll hopefully find out it’s colors on the next colored pages ^__^ But not until October 23rd (unless Nekoi can’t bear the waiting and posts it on her private board of CLAMP PLANET XD).

I refuse to believe the birdie is normal because just right after it hatches (be it immediately or a couple of days later, it’s the same) it’s got such an astonishing plumage? Naaaaah. It has to be magical. Or maybe it’s special because it’s an OMG-interdimensional-chick-of-doom or something.
That said, I still say they’re sneaky, trying to distract us from the explanations they owe us with new cute mascots. and it worked on me, dammit

But I don’t think he’s ordinary bird either. It’s just that, well, after all this time hearing Yuuko saying that PEOPLE are the problem and all that story about PEOPLE, how they should change themselves in order to achieve what they want (and not expect something else to change them), she comes with a non-human solution? Well, we’ll see.

You know, I thought something similar as well… the only difference is that I thought Sakura could be one of the 3 people who paid for Watanuki to live. As we know, she wasn’t, but her journey is still somehow related to Watanuki ^__^

My theory (which isn’t really complicated or far fetched) is that Fye power always brought him bad luck as a child. Just like Karen, him using power may have alienated him from his family and/or the society he was born in. Or if his power didn’t bring him bad luck it brings him painful memories, just like Arashi, his parents died trying to protect him from the consequence of his power.
I imagine he was in a bad stte of mind and very depressed when Ashura-o in his big shinny king’s glory came along and took care of him promising his power/fye himself wasn”t bad luck.
So when Ashura-o’s castle was invaded and Ashura o himself felt into a comatose state, Fye felt betrayed because Ashura o was wrong and in a twisted logic lied to Fye

I think it must have something to do with Fye’s family too. We never heard him talking about them, and we know Fye was someone VERY important whether in Celes or his original country, he’s just so humble that no one can tell the great wizard he is ^___^

Gorgeous splash page of the Real Syaoran with the CCS!sword and a cool pose much to my fangirl squee!! ^o^ Everyone rejoice for the awakening of Fai!!! / (After 10 chapters!) OMG, are my ears deceiving me?! He called him “Kurogane” (Where’s the Kuro-tan?!) and love the hidden smile expression on his face!! X__x *dies* Poor Kuro-rin, we feel your pain and the angst man. I have to agree Li-Akari that I too didn’t like Fai not appreciating Kurogane’s sacrifice (and it was sooo kawaii ^o^!).
Sakura’s cliffhanging situation was very scary with the bleeding fingernails (Ouch!! O.x) and her ankle being stabbed by a piece of metal (Double Ouch!!! X__x). But, she’s okay!!!

Yeah, but at least she doesn’t have to suffer a wardrobe malfunction! XDDDDD
Whoa, what a surprise about the Yuuko/Fai chat!! O__o Mokona is total kawaii sleeping while they talk. Maybe we are sensing the revealing of Fai’s past perhaps on the upcoming late 17th or early 18th volume. Maybe because of Ashura’s lie, this is why he doesn’t want anyone to bear a burden for him.
As for HOLiC, don’t worry about the translations: Inarikami will come to your rescue!! XDDDD This chapter, it was all about Watanuki, the egg, and the lovely bird. I pretty amazed of how the time flow difference now is overlapping each other. That is pretty cool of how the egg is the one that Sakura found. Watanuki + Egg + Kawaii na Tori = Total Love!!! I’m glad that Himawari will finally have the happiness that she never had (Yokatta!!).

Ouch indeed… the last person I remember who also got her fingernails cut off was Sadako from The Ring XDDD That was very painful to watch x__X

Am I the only one that views Sakura’s injuries and think, “Oh God, she needs a tetanus shot!” XD I’m guessing they don’t pay much attention to ‘evil bacteria/virus’ in stories like this. Wouldn’t want our fav. girl to get sick now would we? XD
Anywho, I’m hoping upon hope that Fay’s story is coming up soon. We’ve had so many hints damn it! It’s time for some revelations! I’m still waiting to hear that Ashura knew Yuuko as well. She’s so well connected, that having another royal connection doesn’t seem too farfetched. Though I can’t help but wonder if somehow Fay is going to help Sakura in some way on her quest. Maybe he’ll turn her into a vampire to heal her as well…JK!
And that bird is to die for! So cute! I need translations and fast! though I can’t help but think of Yu Yu Hakusho(sp?) and his little bird…

If that bird is magical, then Kamui’s magic-radar is probably broken, he had said a couple chapters back that there were no magic powers in that world. Fai needs a good hard slap upside the head, seriously. Pushing others away isn’t going to do them or him any good.

It may just end up being jealous! With all the little hearts that float around it and the kisses it gives him, it’s really in love. From reading the translation though it seems it’s supposed to be for Himawari, so Kudakitsune may not have any competition. XD

When he called Kurogane by his full name, I was really surprised… Is Fye going to be like that ? Wow (an amazing change XD). Anyway I’m a little sad cause of Fye and Yuuko’s conversation. At the beginning I though that maybe Fye was someone different (but who hide his game), so when the witch decided ton talk to him in private, I though we would have biiig spoilers saying Fye is a bad guy… The only thing we learned here is that he were “kidnapped” by Ashura O_o.

You know, I don’t know if it’s only me but I got the feeling that he made Fye believe in something but in the end it just a lie. Like, he promised something to Fye, when he took him out of whatever this place was, and then he didn’t keep his promise.

Yes, maybe… Cause when you see pictures with Fye and Shushura (I love to call hime like that. I also have “the WOD” for witch of dimensions – use to call it “SDD” in french XD -), Fye… Is like a puppy. So I’m ok to say that maybe he wanted something and then he did everything to have it, but at the end it was just a lie…
I didn’t thought of that, but… It’s interesting.
I thought Fye was a bad guy because usually, when a guy is good looking, with a raving smile, funny, intelligent, mysterious, has some kind of magic powers and wear cool suits, that means he can’t be as nice as he pretends to be u_u. Fye is too perfect, so I really thought he did bad things in the past.
For exemple, at the beginning, when he pick up a sakura’s feather in shaolan’s jacket… I’m nearly sure it’s a (“tour de passe passe” here. I dunno the translation >_< !)… A… Well… When you just use your hands to make other people see someone that isn't true (like taking 1$ in a little girl's hear). I mean that he didn't really find it in Shaolan's jacket. Fye had the feather, and he made the other think that he only found it. Why ? Because he want's sakura's feathers, so if she died he wouldn't have them.
Something like that…

Well, the bird can talk, so I’m kind of guessing it has to be magical? It was talking to Watanuki while he was sleeping and it was still an egg. Yuuko said the way it hatched would depend on Watanuki’s wishes, and what he wanted was for Himawari to be happy, which is why the bird can be near Himawari and never suffer the effects of her bad luck.
I was kind of skim-reading, so that’s the best I can do for now. 😀

IT’s really interesting story about the egg between these 2 manga…… By the way…… Sakura has really painful damage,….. both fingers and her ankle….. she hurts her ankle from the last chapter, and she had same damage again….. if this wound is getting worse Does she have to cut her ankle totally??????(if her ankle gets poison blood…..)

Okay so Fai [i]knows[/i] that he’s getting too close to Kurogane and decides to back off? How funny. His situation reminds me of that of Doumeki and Watanuki. Only Fai is aware of his feelings while on the other hand Watanuki is aware of others’ feelings.

But if you want to try editing, there’s Photoshop, Fireworks, Corel Draw. They are kinda hard for beginners, though. But there are lots of tutorials on the net, don’t ask me where, though XDDD

Ooo!! Fye’s awake!! And he’s being so cold to Kurogane. U.U I wonder what is Kurogane thinking when he heard Fye called his full name then. It must be awful to him. And when Fye simply smiled as soon as he awakes, my heart ached for him. We all know that it’s all just a disguised of his true feelings. Having his wish not granted and forced to live. As a vampire at that.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. When I read the translation, I was so lost I kept re-reading the same sentences over and over again to see what I had missed. The part about Ashura-o is the most confusing one. What had happened between them? And what does Yuuko meant by saying that? *sigh* I had always hated Yuuko’s philosophical talks. Bet it rivals Fuuma’s in X.
Sakura is even more strong-willed than I gave her credit for! Her hands are bleeding and yet she strived on to get what Yuuko ask her to get. An egg? For Watanuki??? That was so cool! I love all these crossovers thing!

I’m so hoping that Fay will go pick Sakura up. I mean she got an injured ankle, no more hoving scouter and she have to do all the way back without breaking her egg. She usually is very lucky but only getting off of her pile of rumble will be too much a challenge. Fay go get her (and show your awesome vampire ability ^_^).
Talking about Fay, it must be very freaky for Kurogane to have his companion no more nicknaming him and actualy obeying to his orders. But Fay’s link to Ashura-Oh seems clearer now. So was it that Ashura-Oh wasn’t supposed to have a son (like in Rg Veda) so he adopted Fay (who was probably not supposed to be) and by that bring destruction to his world? Since we had Kuro story in the volume 13, which is the first of the third part (refering to the 7 + 5 + 5 + 7 theory), I hope will have Fay’s one in the first volume of fourth, which means vol. 18. ^_^
Now, the real question is yet to be answered. Will Kurogane keep is Record Country clothing or will he finaly change them for some Tokyo fashion ?

At least we know that somehow Sakura will return to the building (for all the people who want Vamp!Fai in action, this will be a chance), and wait for what’s next (more Kamui, Please!!!!!). And we still have episodes, YAY!
Supposedly Fai have his motives to get apart from people, I expect SOMEDAY we’ll get an explanation, and, ain’t this declaration of Fai’s fellings make Kuroxfai canon?

God, am I excited about this! Can’t wait till the next chapter. I really liked Fye saying he crossed the line he had traced with Kurogane! But I still hope he won’t be able to resist Kuro-tan and everything will be back to normal! ^^
And I might have missed it, but… no one mencioned the vampire thing yet… didn’t Yuuko say that he would be able to return to normal if he got his eye back? Does anyone here speak japanese? I really need someone to discuss things with!
And Holic was just perfect! Doumeki is really great! To take Watanuki’s scar! I wonder what will happen from now on…
And if someone can help me… I can’t access The Room of Requirement anymore…T_T Does anyone know why? And how can I access it?
Oh, and to nemesisgirl… The answer is next week (thank god they are not gonna make us wait)!

Still, I’m a little skeptical. Closer, yes, but up until now has anyone thought that maybe fai and kurogane WEREN’T gay? There was the whole Kuro/Tomoyo deal, and then again, were we all just biased by the fact that this was CLAMP? The people who made the whole Kamui/Fuuma and Subaru/Seishirou that was totally in your face that they were cannon, but had these two been made by someone else would you have thought that they were straight? Without first deciding it, but finding out at the end. Sigh, Tsubasa is interesting (holic too) but has anyone thought that maybe it’s ‘us’ and not CLAMP that implied that they were gay. Fanpeople can go pretty far with things. and Doumeki/Watanuki. 104 maybe isn’t so? I may be wrong. Or I might not be. :|…>sigh
