Drama CD:
As I had previously posted here, the script will be once again written Ageha Ohkawa, and just as the 1st one, both TRC and XXXHOLiC CDs will feature the exact same stories. The only difference will be the jacket and label illustrations for the CDs.
Once again seems like CLAMP, which is, Nekoi, used the computer to color the image (the pic is no better than the one Ali-san scanned, though XD).
The applications end on October 6th, so hopefully the file will hit the internet somewhere after that date.
XXXHOLiC:
– Next chapters scheduled (red means new):
09/16 – Young Magazine #42 – Chapter 119 (on sale).
09/25 – Young Magazine #43 – Chapter 120 – Last chapter of tank 10.
10/02 – Young Magazine #44 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled.

…the expected 2-weeks break between tanks. I just hope they’ll be really only 2. And whether XXXHOLiC is ending or not, one thing is true: Volume 11 is on the way XD

– CLAMP Newtype〈PLATINUM〉:
Adding to the content list, we now have the word that the special magazine will come with a large sticker featuring the same image as the cover, which will be:
It’s like 2 times the same image ! XD
No need to say that I totally loved to see new X art, but I confess that x_reggg-chan spoiled myself with her photograph of the magazine’s adverting in this month’s Newtype XDDDDDD
Also, the new IE 7.0’s zooming feature (AWESOME feature) made me zoom in to 400% to see it better XDDDD
Just to remember you all, the magazine is out on September 25th, check this post for more detailed information about it’s content.
– CLAMP Newtype〈PASTEL〉:
The content of the 2nd (and probably last) edition of CLAMP Newtype has been announced:
– Cover illustration by CLAMP (featuring Kobato.)
– A new installment of the short comic “CLAMP IN WONDERLAND EX”
– Essay – “Chipmunk Cheeks – Business Trip Version” (Satsuki’s Column)
– Information about Kobato., CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2 news, among others.
– Special supplement (appendix) – Chapters 1 to 3 of “Kobato (Temporary)” (B5 size), first published in Sunday GX.
– Appendix: large sticker (featuring the cover image).
Release date: October 25th.
You know what’s weird about those magazines? There’s no price about them o.o Is it still undecided?
Also, I think we can officially assume that CLAMP will indeed re-draw Kobato. for Newtype (since the chapters of Sunday GX will come as appendix). I didn’t get, though, why only the first 3 chapters. Are they planning to release the other 4 later? O.o
– Code Geass:
A special 30-minutes long show introducing the new anime will be broadcasted on September 29th on TBS and MBS networks.
– Mokona’s Visual Book:
It has been announced that Mokona’s Visual Book of kimonos will be released on December 12th and it’ll cost 1575 yens.

I am soooo getting those Newtype issues, even if it kills me. ^^ But what in the world are these ‘sticks’ that are coming with them? A paddle/fan shaped thing? I just don’t see how an image is going to fit on a stick. ?_?

That’s the system >_< Everytime a volume is completed there's always a mininum of 2 weeks of interval before a new vol starts. Pray to be only 2 weeks indeed XD

You know what’s sad? I had a dream the other night that I got the November Newtype with Kobato. in it and saw that it was basically starting the story over. But it still looked very good. I didn’t get to read it all before I woke up. >>

The magazines price shouldn’t be more than USD10 I assume? The magazine is similar to the special Trinity Blood Newtype that was released last year and I bought it in Malaysia for about RM30++ so conversion rates shouldn’t bring it up to more than USD 10 (I think)
But then again the special newtypes are usually dependant on how thick and how popular (money leechers XD) they are.
Just a question though, is this newtype with this cover different from the one previewed with only Kamui on the cover?

Wow, is that really so? I guess the price will be quite salty. Maybe about the same price as CnK. CLAMP Newtype doesn’t have any chesspieces but it comes with the appendixes all it must be an all-colored magazine. I just think it’s weird they didn’t announce the price yet.

I’m so happy for the no-break weeks for Tsubasa! Having breaks in between really gets into my nerves sometimes. But thankfully, we’ll be able to enjoy the chapters without any interference.
Too bad for xxxHolic, though. One week is already torturous but 2?! What are they thinking???
And that new X art! O.O OMG!! It’s so pretty!! XD Wish I can see a bigger version of it. Zooming tends to make a small picture very blurry. But, it’s so pretty nonetheless. If I have the money, I’ll sure buy it if it’s just for the pretty front page.
